It is one of the kindest cities in India, and you have experienced it. I have lived here for over 20 years, what makes me stay is the goodness you get to see in people here. Some places do not allow recording, and if they say don't shoot, and you are alone, it's best not to. Most places video shooting is allowed. Next time you can explore more parts of the city, there are beautiful cafes, good educational institutions, medical colleges and interesting parts to explore. Enjoyed your exploration here.

Hello anthony. Wfrom Mangalore don't want to go to beach side in the hot afternoon. So the crowdd will not be there. And that side of the beach where fishing will be done is only to purchase the fish. You went to some local beach which is not for tourists area. You have many beaches in mangalore like tannir bavi & panambur beach you have clean beaches in the outskirts as well like surathkal & kapu beach. First thing with samosa was vada pav, next fruit was ice apple not I suffer 😊 what you had was general street food, for local food you could have gone to hotel taj Mahal, janata delux or hotel woodlands. And local delicacy is sea food. You can find it in hotel thimappa, or hotel machali. You needed to do a bit of research on the city bro. Mangalore has a very good icecream parlour called Ideal ice cream and pabbas ice cream parlour. You needed to do a bit of research before the tour. Next time you can try these places 😊

Hey mate! Mangalore has so many icinic beaches, sea food, tradtional vegetarian food. Ideal icreams . There are some really nice temple churches unfortunately you just visted Bengre its just a small fishing village 😢😢😢
Next time please check on Wikipedia, wiktravel or trip advisor to see what to do in a particular place..
There is an island called Pavoor Uiliye that's a very unique place .
We also have some of the best sea food
And please dont eat somasa they may not be very hygienic

Oh man… that is not the place to eat or see anything… even we mangaloreans don’t eat there bro… btw, our city has a rich and fascinating history spanning nearly 2000 to 4000 years. You l find places where there are megalithic sites well preserved even today all the way to modern 20th century structures. The place you are was a place we’re trade has been taking place for more than 2000 years from Ancient Greece etc. do visit again with a good local historian.
