Golden Valley Police officer terminated after independent investigation into alleged misconduct

- Following a months-long investigation, the city of Golden Valley is releasing the results of an independent report detailing numerous violations of data practices laws and offensive statements made within the police department. The investigation was launched as the city was in the midst of hiring a new police chief earlier this year.

The more videos like this I see, my expectation of ever encountering upstanding/ law-abiding LEOs, becomes virtually non existent.
Only in recent years through technology, has this conduct been exposed. I feel bad cops have ALWAYS been commonplace, just more easily concealed.

End Qualified Immunity.
End Civil Forfeiture.
Police pay out of pensions for lawsuits or get insurance like doctors do.
End police unions, city hires police directly.
Prohibit use of or access to military equipment unless in very specific situations.
Body cams at all times. If officer doesn't consent to being recorded or removes mic, they are dismissed unless an independent electronics expert can verify that it was an electronic malfunction.
End the war on drugs.
That won't do shit because they don't need laws to do whatever they want. The root of the problem is cultural.

@@DunderHead.5000 I understand where you're coming from, and I agree that there are certainly issues with policing that need to be addressed. However, I believe that focusing solely on laws and policy changes alone won't address the deeper cultural and systemic issues at play. While changes to qualified immunity, civil forfeiture, and union regulations are all important steps, they are only a small piece of the puzzle. We need to take a holistic approach that addresses the culture and systems within law enforcement, as well as the community it serves. This includes initiatives to promote diversity, de-escalation training, and community policing programs. We also need to have open and honest conversations about the role of policing in society, and how to create a system that serves and protects all members of the community. Together, with a comprehensive approach, we can make real progress towards a more just and equitable system of policing.
And that's written into the Constitution.

Well.. demographically speaking, that would be about average. As a matter of fact, 2.7% sounds pretty good if blacks only make up 13% of the population. For example, if 7% (more than half) of blacks were wealthy, then more than half of them would be rich ! Duh. Now ask yourself, are more than half of white people rich too? Nope ! Basic logic. Just exactly what is the 'goal' here anyways? Nobody can 'make' ANY race wealthy, be them black or white. People have to do it themselves through independence and entrepreneurship. Otherwise, wouldn't it be discriminatory to say the system has to somehow 'make' more than half of a certain race of people wealthy, while the other race(s) are not ? That's just ridiculous and not how finance and businesses have EVER worked traditionally. Wealth distribution happens through independence. Nobody is obligated to conform to making another race wealthy. That's completely absurd. Technically, it would also discriminate against other races of people because if you do the averages, for example, certainly more than half of ALL white people are NOT wealthy. Bottom line is, who sets the bar: Nobody. BOTH blacks, whites and whatever other races have to make themselves wealthy through independence, while trying not to be a parasite sucking off of other people, right? Nobody wants to be a leech. Nothing is stopping anyone from being an entrepreneur or building a business or corporation, except for the initial capital it takes to do it. So make a plan and set goals, but if you fail, there wont likely be anymore golden parachutes to give beyond 2023, so make sure your plan is good.. and don't fail. Put down the iPhone and get off your fricken rear ends. It's called manual labor. You snooze, you lose.

You didn't read properly what I wrote. A lot of cops, firemen, healthcare servicemen left their career's to avoid gene therapy, I highly doubt their spiritual, but without a doubt they may be religious, aetheist, or consumers.
