    I have a Barratza Vario that is completely inconsistent (not bought from you) and thanks to this review, I will get the Turbo.

    Finally. Eureka turbo was only available overseas. It has all of the strengths of the other more expensive mignon models. Specelita and (eg. 65mm burr) but for a less expensive price point. I purchased the turbo for approximately $550 USD shipping included

      Baratza Sette? I like mine, but it’s quite possibly the loudest grinder on the planet.

    is the retention identical between the Specialita and the Turbo?

    How do these grinders differ from the Eureka Oro Mignon XL grinders?

      I've got Eureka Oro Mignon XL. Watching the video could not see much difference from Eureka Mignon Torbo exept the burr finish material.

    It doesn’t matter what type of technology they add, they can’t for the life of them can’t hear the complaints with the stupid dial. Fix that, make it better!

      They do seem to just churn out slight variations of the same grinder without addressing the fundamental issues it seems are up us Mignon owners to fix. I like mine, but it's modded quite a bit.

    Does it still suffer the same post cleaning zero issues as the rest of the Mignon series (does not hold/ changes true zero every time it is cleaned)?

    Is the quality of the coffee in the cup better with the Turbo than with the Specialità (speed is not important to me)?

    • @Wholelattelovepage
      @Wholelattelovepage  11 месяцев назад +2

      Hey bttb, The Mignon Turbo has larger 65mm burrs compared to 55 in the Specialita. In general larger burrs produce less fines and a more consistent particle size when grinding. Grinds also tend to be fluffier with larger burrs which can aid in puck prep to help reduce channeling of brew water leading to better results in the cup.

      @@Wholelattelovepage Thanks for the answer, which means that it would be even better with an Atom equipped with 75MM burrs?

      @@back_to_the_bike8820 You're welcome. Although not sure if you misunderstood? Larger burrs produce a better grind quality.

    Hello, is it normal that the turbo grinder jerks to the side when pressed grind? Mine starts doing that after a month and was told by the store that is normal and we have to place it on the mat. From the videos that we have seen online , none of the grinders sit on the mat and they don't jerk to the side.

    • @Wholelattelovepage
      @Wholelattelovepage  11 месяцев назад

      Hi there.
      This is a wonderful question. Indeed, the grinder does have a tendency to move a little when the motor is engaged if it is not properly anchored on a mat or using other methods. The motor is very powerful and initiating it creates a lot of instantaneous torque to the grinder.
