For folks who don't like musicals...this is not a musical. It's a fast paced play that depicts the true story of how these guys created such a unique sound & successfully survived the "British Invasion" with hit after hit. And they perform their hit songs throughout the play. You just want to get up on the stage with them and sing along.
My oldest son took me to see it in San Francisco. I LOVED IT!! The thing that I wasn't prepared for was the crowd. It was mostly very young teenagers singing and rocking through the entire thing. They knew every single lyric and it was AWESOME!

I am a 17 year old, and I saw it in Chicago on Friday. It was simply amazing. The kid who played Frankie Valli was...indescribably phenomenal. I highly, HIGHLY recommend everyone see this play. Fantastico!
I grew up loving the Four Seasons, even had a friend who's dad was friends with them, and met Frankie Valli and Tommy DeVito. The night I went to see "Jersey Boys" with the original cast members was inspiring and one of the greatest moments in my life. The show actually made you feel good that you were alive to see such a show! The Four Seasons deserve so much for their music and it is about time they were recognized for their greatness!
Partner, I cried so much the first time I watched this show and I still remembered those old songs. i have watched this show four (4) times now and I think the Four Seasons with Jersey Boys and they are finally being recognized.
I've seen this musical in three different countries, with three different casts. And no one delivers the line "chasing the music: trying to get home" with the glassy eyed hope and pain that John Lloyd Young managed to muster.
Absolutely the best of all time. Saw them 3 times. It was the first musical that "Frankie" ever played on Broadway and he won the Tony and 2 other awards. I couldn't help but think how he debuts his first time and is #1. No matter where or when he will always have that. I also saw him as his in Atlantic City and he was amazing 👏 😍
@@terrijarrell3723 John comes across as a very sweet, sentimental, deep-thinking guy. I've seen a couple of his interviews, and I feel like I could listen to him talk for hours on-end, without ever getting bored. (9/24/2021)
Just saw the show. As a radio DJ who's played all these songs for so many years, what a fantastic show! I agree with those who say by the middle of Act 1, you want just get on stage and sing with them. A very realistic look at what the music business was like in the 60's. And a great tribute to one of the great vocal groups of our time.
I so regret that I did not get to see this original company. Two Tony awards in that line-up of four actors at the end. I was visiting NYC when it was in previews. A friend told me, "Do not miss this. It is going to rule Broadway for the next year." And he was right. I did see the national tour--and it truly was extraordinary. Not just a jukebox musical. The book of the show is incredible. It is one of the most perfect pieces of musical theatre I have ever seen. Not an untrue moment the entire time.

Donna Marie That's who my family and I saw a few years ago. Everyone was fantastic but J.L.B.'s performance was...just wow...during CTMEOOY, he got a standing ovation that lasted a good minute or so. He looked very touched.
I saw the final show in NYC a few weeks ago and even being 30 year old guy, I cried watching the finale. Amazing show, amazing music and choreography, absolutely stunning.
The Jersey Boys and Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons are the best of the best rock and roll performers of all time I am, and I joined your music I love singing to them and dancing to them and they're still awesome thank you for winning the Tony Awards you deserve it.
...the segment "Who Loves You" - I find it overwhelming, the way they sang and danced, kinda brings tears to my eyes. I saw "Jersey Boys" twice. It's the kind of show one would want to see over and over again. Bring it on with John Lloyd Young, who has one of the silkiest voice in the business. If you're a 60's buff, you have to see this musical, it's one you'll never forget.
No need to be a 60’s buff to enjoy the great talent of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons or Jersey Boys because great talent and entertainment are always needed.
I'm a classic rock and metal guitarist at 42 this is my Grandparents music and I think it's the best, skill. feeling, heart. Brings tears to my eyes. I miss my Grandparents. Uncles Aunts. I wish I could take them to see Jersey boys.
I never get tired of listening to JLY. When he sings it takes me back to my amazing days of my younger life & for awhile I live those days all over again. It is just something magical.
I saw the show “Jersey Boys” in Vegas and it was fabulous, and I am a guy that doesn’t like musicals. Since then I have seen the touring version TWICE. And the movie too! I’d see it again if the opportunity came around. Thank you Frankie and Bob Gaudio.
At the beginning when Frankie, Bob, Joe and Tommy come out on stage Bob looks like a giant! I have to say that I loved the travelling show when it came through and even though the movie wasn't everything the stage show is, it did capture the overall feeling of the stage show and was very enjoyable.
WOW WOW WOW -----just bought the dvd e few weeks ago -- can't get enough -- love this movie soooo much --thanks for posting this - it makes it easier to understand what the play probably was like -- thanks to clint eastwood for such a great idea -- who would have thought this would be such a great movie -- thank you frankie valli ( with an i ) and the four seasons for so many years of great songs and thanks to whole cast on broadway and especially this movie !!!!!!!!
That last part... With the guy who plays Frankie talking about how he's trying to get home, and then he starts singing and all the other Seasons come on... That part makes me cry. So beautiful.
i remember john lloyd young as a member of his high school track team. i coached at another school in the area. next time i saw him was in nyc.....................fantastic.
Jarrod is one of the most underrated voices on Broadway. It was amazing to see all that footage of his childhood, what a tribute. He’s probably the best vocally to grace the part of Frankie in Jersey Boys. His tone and his control with both the falsetto and the chest voice is unmatched.
This was the night I first saw any of the show, and I knew I HAD to see it. Finally, on July 29th of this year, I SAW IT!! What a fabulous show!! Nobody ever had, or will have, the sound of the Four Seasons.
not usually a big fan of musicals/plays.... but this show simply blew me away! The moment it ended I was depressed because I wanted it to start over again immediately.
I saw Jersey Boys on Norwegian Bliss in Oct 2022. The songs brought tears to my eyes, it was overwhelming seeing them sing hit after hit. It must be surreal for them to perform in front of the 4 Seasons.
I showed my mom (who happens to be a baby-boomer, born in '57) this clip, & she actually got a little choked up. She's sentimental to a fault, same as I am.
Danielle Musella As far as falsettos go, you have to listen to early Lou Christie (“Lightnin’ Strikes”). He could give Frankie Valli a run for the money.
I have seen Jersey Boys 11 Times, from New York to Calgary. & I was set to see them a 12th when they went dark. It’s the most AMAZING show & I would see them anywhere. You cry, you laugh & you dance. Anywhere…
God, i loved this musical, i just saw it on sunday and man, i was just blown away! I couldnt stop clapping after the finale and the whole crowd was on their feet, it felt like it went on for like 10 minutes, lol
Wow , what a wonderful time to be alive to experience this revival of the Four Seasons music I just got home from the movie and going to see the Broadway show again in December .
Saw Jersey Boys in New York on Saturday night. John Lloyd Young was supposed to play Frankie, but we got Dominic Scaglione, Jr. He was amazing. The whole show was amazing. Best show I have ever seen.
I don't recall the cast but I saw it on Broadway with my mom and aunt. It was a great show from begining to end. Everyone in the theather was on their feet singing and dancing.. This is was a great night
Jersey Boys is my favorite musical. I got to see it on broadway in May 2009 and it was absolutely amazing! Every time I see this clip I get goosebumps- its soo good!

I am so happy for you that you seized this incredible opportunity, 3x!! I have never been drawn to musicals, but something about this one just makes you feel totally uplifted- the music, the energy, the rags to riches kind of story and a beautifully orchestrated production of immense talent. 🤩🤩🤩

I am NOT a fan boy....lol....Im a union actor, and Ive seen this NINE times....LOL.....I LOVE this musical......this moment has you fall out of your seat!
Jersey Boys was amazing on Broadway i would love to go see it again. They did a great job with the movie. I was really impressed and had a lot of fun watching it.
Wish I lived in New York. If I did I'd probably spend half my income seeing musicals on Broadway. Just saw a traveling version of Jersey Boys again. Never tire of it!
@@arleneiardella9217 I know, right? They also do a subtle nod to "Goodfellas", when he goes to Bob's house to pick him up: "Funny, how?" I smiled when I saw that part for the first time, not only because I recognized the line, but also because I remembered that "Goodfellas", itself, contains a reference to Frankie. (9/24/2021)
I saw The Midtown Men last September. They're the original members of Jersey Boys. They were so amazing and after the show I got an autograph from them and a kiss from J. Robert Spencer who played Nick Massi in the play. It was the most fantastic night I'd ever had!
i thoroughly enjoyed it!!! That music will live for ever and the cast was just great specially Frankie...sang perfect and looked so handsome...!!! I was not going to miss it...I am a Music Lover and those old songs are definitely "Good Music" Leticia ~
I can't believe I did not see this while I was in Vegas, damn. I saw the movie and LOVED IT. Had heard this song all my life and never new it was the four season LMAO..... John did an amazing JOB in the movie....
far and away one of the best musicals of all time! Yes my favorite seen it four times , and will see it several more times .Like being at a concert for sure , touches your soul and makes you go back in time to a less complicated time in life!!!
Well you'll probably get a chance to see the movie first, but when you get the chance to see the show, you MUST SEE IT. It is amazing and even though the movie looks amazing and has a lot of the guys from the Broadway show and touring companies, no movie can ever be as good as seeing it live on Broadway!
I agree. See the stage production first. The movie was okay, but the stage version is WAY better IMO. Had I seen the movie first, I'm not sure I would have wanted to see the stage production. The movie was kind of slow at times (especially at the beginning) and seemed more story-driven (with music to back it up), rather than music driven with a story behind the music.
I agree with Natasha and Trojan. Try to see the musical first. I saw it in NYC and it was amazing. Great actors and voices. It helped me to make the movie more enjoyable, otherwise I would have found it too slow at some point.
Nick Massi had passed away by the time the show got to Broadway; they worked that into the script as a tribute. Like a good Catholic, he died on Christmas Eve, as "Frankie" says in the show. One of my favorite musicals - have seen it twice & hope to again.
The Boys are coming to SF this December and my girlfriend is getting tickets for my B-day/Christmas gift. If this show is even half as good as everyone says it is, I might just cry of amazement in the theatre.
Was in Vegas and Jersey Boys was the first time I saw the show. I was so hooked! Then years later in Houston. And finally in Austin. Also saw the Frankie Valli show in Austin. Just can’t get enough of them 😎. I would see them again if the show were revived. The first time I heard of the Four Seasons was the ‘60s and I’m a senior now, they have the magic making me feel young again. Love them so much!
im sure they all can somewhat do it. but the main one who sings falsetto for most of the show is the guy who sang at the beginning (john lloyd young) his character is frankie valli who's trademark was his high singing voice
OMG how nerve wracking to have Frankie Bobbie and Tommy there and perform...and he nails it 100%...thanks for uploading. Does anyone know if/where I can find a copy of The Four Seasons induction to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 1990?

John Lloyd Young is very talented and he brought a lot of talent to that performance. I love John Lloyd Young!
Bob Gaudio, the songwriting member, also was in the group The Royal Teens. Gaudio wrote their hit song "Who Wears Short Shorts?"
Just saw this show in Baltimore for its closing weekend in Maryland!!!
It was fantastic. BEST SHOW EVER!!!!
Jersey Boys was amazing on Broadway i would love to go see it again. They did a great job with the movie. I was really impressed and had a lot of fun watching it.
Very cool always loved their music thanks very much. Merry Christmas and Happy New year to all from me in Hamilton Ontario Canada
As much I love John Lloyd Young in Jersey Boys, Both movie and show, the way he looks reminds me of Michael Scott from The Office sometimes..
HazardousRighteousness I can't not see it now 🤦🏻♀️
It doesn't matter how old or young you are..... Its an amazing cast.....
Wish I lived in New York. If I did I'd probably spend half my income seeing musicals on Broadway. Just saw a traveling version of Jersey Boys again. Never tire of it!
Saw the movie last night. Surprised when they mentioned Joe Pecsi in the movie. Didn't know he was involved
Mywork777 they do. The bowling scene when he’s working
Ha Ha....... how young are you??? :)
I almost didn't go to see this.
I'm so glad I did. It was absolutely brilliant. They were just incredible.
Bob Gaudio is a genius ❤❤❤
I saw The Midtown Men last September. They're the original members of Jersey Boys. They were so amazing and after the show I got an autograph from them and a kiss from J. Robert Spencer who played Nick Massi in the play. It was the most fantastic night I'd ever had!
I saw the Musical in 2013 and also at June 2015,I love it,Best Musical!!!
i saw this play in toronto.....best play ever
Fantastic show, well done everyone, enjoyed every moment. Amazing Ben Joyce who plays Frankie Valli. 🤗
The world is a much better place with the talent`s of the Italian`s and Irish musicians.
my parents and i watched the movie last night and said they liked the movie more
but seeing the show is an experience they'll never forget
i thoroughly enjoyed it!!!
The dance in this is KILLER!
far and away one of the best musicals of all time! Yes my favorite seen it four times , and will see it several more times .Like being at a concert for sure , touches your soul and makes you go back in time to a less complicated time in life!!!
I've wanted to see this ever since I was a kid. Now that I'm old enough to go it's going to be a movie. I don't know which I should see first.
Get Broadway first! I saw them 2 times, they are damn good. This kid, in a way, is a bit better then Frankie.
viktoryia kourbatskaia I feel the same way! I listen to the sound track all the time. I like it better than the original recordings.
Just classic, fantastic music…. Never to be repeated sadly
My parents saw it in Chicago. They loved it. Now I'm listening to the soundtrack, and I love it even more.
I just saw it in London on March 4th.. It was fantastic!!
i saw this show on January 11th 3rd row center orchestra....most incredible thing i've seen in my entire life.
I watched the movie today and now I’m here. John is so good as Frankie ugh 😍
It’s been six years since I have watched it
Saw the Jersey Boys in Seattle with this exact same cast with the love of my life "Wayne"................ It was fabulous!!!!
Love them so much!
i saw it when it first came out in 2005 in manhattan and have seen a few plays since then...nothing has come even CLOSE to it.
I saw this show in atlanta 2009 great show
GREAT VIDEO! Thank you for posting it!!!
LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!
im sure they all can somewhat do it. but the main one who sings falsetto for most of the show is the guy who sang at the beginning (john lloyd young) his character is frankie valli who's trademark was his high singing voice
OMG how nerve wracking to have Frankie Bobbie and Tommy there and perform...and he nails it 100%...thanks for uploading. Does anyone know if/where I can find a copy of The Four Seasons induction to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 1990?
Musicals, plays and broadways are my favorites yay
😂❤😂
