Hi Great video..I watched it...and then went out ,where my brother was..I'm 69 he's a few yrs younger ..i asked him to get me in a full nelson...firmly but not to hurt...so he did and I used your trick in the short video...not only did I get out of it...I almost hurt him..I couldnt believe it...Thanks...Dave
All the video I was asking myself why don't you change roles with your much smaller partner, and then you did it! Good for you! Seems to work also gorgeous a smaller person against a bigger aggressor. Very informative and interesting. Thank you @
That is not a Full Nelson, it's just a neck grab. It definitely wouldn't work against a properly applied Full Nelson. The attack should have been stopped before the arms got near the neck.

My mom is asking about a HALF NELSON ESCAPE. Seems no one on RUclips has an attack one, where both parties are standing.
Once one's head is up and the full nelson grip is broken, is a rear headbutt to the face advisable, or is escape the primary goal at that point?
