As a DPT, and martial art enthusiast. I love that you added that part of the rotator cuff, could not agree more, let your hips generate the force. subscribed sir!
Elbows really can save you. Back when i was a barback not a bartender. I was helping with an event well a couple of hour's into it. Its packed and filled with college kids and military peeps. Anyway a more heavy set gentleman was really drunk and harassing people. Since i seen it and have more of a talk thru this attitude i was able to have the guy just leave... however one of our new security guard gets there too late and sse the big guy arm around me in a threatening way. (Which at first he was just doing the drunk guy hold) keep kn mind im 150 around that time. The guy had to be a clear 250+. So the guard grabs him and slaps him. Now all hells broke loose. Our security guard is now knocked out and the drunk guy is mad and grabbjng chairs scaring the shhh out of people. This time my brothers who are also bouncers are now there but its too croweded to get to me. Me and the drunk guy are now getting into it. Of course im trying to calm him down but hes not listening. He grabs me and my first reaction is to elbow his ear. When i say the impact was hard the ground shook. Dude lost his balance doing so made people move out the way. Which allowed the bouncers and now police have showed up.
Awesome video thank you so much the step by step and slow motion really helps alot thank you because I watch your videos with me my son and we both learn with you your awesome my friend Thank you again until next video.✌️
I've watched a lot of your video's, but with much respect to you and your craft my boxing skills would destroy you. Boxers are the most fastest and sneakiest combatist on the street and in the ring.
Excellent demonstration covering all the techniques
Never underestimate the raw power and destructive force of the elbows

Elbows are the hidden superhero power that "punches" well above its weight
Agreed
@@JoseGonzalez-gg6rs until your elbows are sore but not bruised
Yes! Elbow strikes are my "go to" move, whenever the other guy moves in close and tries to sucker-punch me. 👍
Damn sucker punches
It’s like winding a spring and unwinding a spring! One movement sets up the next movement!
Nice
Despite being a high schooler, I can take on the entire world with just my elbows and shins. Oh and my running speed

Elbows can change a fight quickly. Especially in the ear
Close quarters!!! Great stuff! I don't know martial arts... But I think I can do this!
Have to practice
Thanks for sharing 🙏🏾
Never seen these techniques before cool!
🫸🏼🤛🏼
Great display of the elbow strikes!
Elbow blows are also part of traditional Jujutsu close-in fighting, known in Judo as that regimen of percussion blows, Atemi-Waza.
In every martial art for sure
Very nice. Thank you.
Once again thank you ...
🫸🏼🤛🏼
The clinch elbow is fab. Concussive rather than cutting. The force generated is bone crunching.
Awesome video thank you so much the step by step and slow motion really helps alot thank you because I watch your videos with me my son and we both learn with you your awesome my friend Thank you again until next video.✌️
I am a BBc7 isshin-ryu- Elbows and knees are very very underrated
LOL damn that was a nasty elbow at the beginning of the video lol. I LOVE throwing elbows, from the ground, top mount, up close, for blocks
It actually clipped him believe it or not. Ever so slightly. All for you guys.
Excellent
I always enjoy watching your videos. They are always informative. I'm curious, would you be willing to list the arts/styles that you have trained in?
Self Defense Technique: use the Spacium Beam
Elbow destruction cqc followed by a power slap is the best combo ever
Thank you sir
Kimura Shukokai is an example!
Thanks
🙏
Thank you

I'm only here to say this one thing. The thumbnail for this vid is Ultraman's signature blast pose....
Nice i find the elbow defence and offence is very useful like krav maga
🫸🏼🤛🏼
Nice As a low heavy guy. *8 is my favorite close range attack. Very hard to counter.
Hah learnt that vertical elbow in a Tai Chi class, think they use it after deflecting kicks, but now I know a LOT more, thanks.
Good footwork!
Vertical elbow to plexus coupled with deep inside uppercut to chin. Old-school boxing coach taught me that one ("dirty" boxing).
Yes love old school boxing coaches
Any fight you should be 4-5 feet away! You control the fight and the hot zone! Hot spot we call it! Advance technical options!
A bit different, but quite common in some Uechi Ryu Kata. Good advise! ✊
🙏💪
💪
Muy instructivos tus videos,me encantaria en la medida que se pueda sean subtitulados al español,gracias
Muay Thai does elbow strikes like this. Knees are another good defense tool
Love when my Kung fu instructors break out the pads for elbow training. Especially the popping sound of a solid horizontal strike 🫸🏼🤛🏼
Elbows can cut like a knife when properly executed.
🙏💪💪
🫸🏼🤛🏼
Elbow macaroni
😋
Elbows = slice and dice 🪓⚒️🔨
🔪’s of the self defense world
Just kiss them aggressively
There is no elbo stricks in karate

Y yo montajes el gran golpe por gusto por amar de verdad y quedarme así está cabrón no quedarme así
A smart technique would never come close to the body! Might as well be a boxer!
You don’t understand torque and power!
I've watched a lot of your video's, but with much respect to you and your craft my boxing skills would destroy you. Boxers are the most fastest and sneakiest combatist on the street and in the ring.
Karate gets thrashed by muaythai perpetually. I see flaws in the executions above.
You have good morals, I advise you to learn about the Islamic religion and embrace it. I thank you for teaching people to defend themselves.
ALL BS! If you are not training for a gun fight, you are wasting your time!
What if he immediately works your joints?
Well, this explains why the Guyver has it's blades placed on it's elbows.
