Excellent demonstration covering all the techniques
Never underestimate the raw power and destructive force of the elbows

As a DPT, and martial art enthusiast. I love that you added that part of the rotator cuff, could not agree more, let your hips generate the force. subscribed sir!

Elbows are the hidden superhero power that "punches" well above its weight

Yes! Elbow strikes are my "go to" move, whenever the other guy moves in close and tries to sucker-punch me. 👍

Despite being a high schooler, I can take on the entire world with just my elbows and shins. Oh and my running speed

Elbows really can save you. Back when i was a barback not a bartender. I was helping with an event well a couple of hour's into it. Its packed and filled with college kids and military peeps.
Anyway a more heavy set gentleman was really drunk and harassing people.
Since i seen it and have more of a talk thru this attitude i was able to have the guy just leave... however one of our new security guard gets there too late and sse the big guy arm around me in a threatening way. (Which at first he was just doing the drunk guy hold) keep kn mind im 150 around that time. The guy had to be a clear 250+. So the guard grabs him and slaps him.
Now all hells broke loose. Our security guard is now knocked out and the drunk guy is mad and grabbjng chairs scaring the shhh out of people. This time my brothers who are also bouncers are now there but its too croweded to get to me. Me and the drunk guy are now getting into it. Of course im trying to calm him down but hes not listening. He grabs me and my first reaction is to elbow his ear.
When i say the impact was hard the ground shook. Dude lost his balance doing so made people move out the way. Which allowed the bouncers and now police have showed up.

Elbow blows are also part of traditional Jujutsu close-in fighting, known in Judo as that regimen of percussion blows, Atemi-Waza.

The clinch elbow is fab. Concussive rather than cutting. The force generated is bone crunching.

Vertical elbow to plexus coupled with deep inside uppercut to chin. Old-school boxing coach taught me that one ("dirty" boxing).
