Good. However, I would not try to fix myself on disarming. Distract, disbalance, disappear from the attacker's space, disable. Disarming comes if it comes. Many consider Aikido as a dance art, but it has a lot of these principles, and disarms always come there after the attacker is fixed or during the attacker is fixed.
Thank you Guro, I love your videos, and you're by far one of my favorite RUclips martial art content creators. I am an Inosanto Kali practioner, but have great admiration for the Balintawak escrima system as well. Once again Salamat guro for your service to the martial arts community!
I truly appreciate the video but all the choreograph techniques look good but lucky if 10% of that stuff works in a real life situation on a guy strung out on drugs and high adrenaline levels.
True. But that's why we train, for endurance, instinct and if ever in a situation with someone under the influence, we're able to either control or safely get away.

I guess running away if at all possible. But if cornered in an alley, or your bedroom, u have no choice but fight back
thank you Kevin for your knowledge and this lesson as well as the lessons on women's self defense
I came from a fight like this. But the way you choose to protect yourself depends from the enemy. Those techniques are not universal but i appriciate it

Great video. Very informative ❤
You will get cut. Deal with it. We've all been cut. Do NOT get stabbed. Hard to deal with a deflating lung, severed vein, and/or punctured liver.
No we haven't.
@@InlineDownhillVancouveryou’re missing out then
You run away and therefore nothing has to happen
Id have fun learning from you. I enjoy the common sense and adaptability you include with your skills.
Your knife guy has a Infinte bag of knifes or very deep pockets haha, love the the content
Thanks for the instruction.
Thanks

As someone who trains HEMA and was sparring today; you’re probably not going to disarm your opponent.
Good torque!
Possible not probable. Not worth the risk unless you’re desperate
Can you show me one of your videos on how to disarm that's NOT the Art party and REALISTIC?
Hah! Good question.

Great video. One of your best. I love all the stating the obvious in the comments. 😂
Ohh ya practice your Kali disarms they work
Why not just avoid places where you xan get robbed or attacked
Because you can be robbed or attacked anywhere, there are STATISTICALLY less likely places, but it CAN happen anywhere and everywhere
No problem - the comment section
❤
I will always stay behind my knife.Almost not possibel to disarm.
If i had a knife it a self defence situation i would throw it away. Far far too easy to take away from me.
yeah right if elephants could fly like a bird 🤗
