Thank you for this very interesting video, Kevin. You demonstrate perfectly well that the simplest defense technics are often the most effective. Most of the time, when we have to fight in streets, we don't have time for elaborate self-defense technics. Our main goal is to get rid off as quickly as we can of the assailant. And if there's more than one assailant, simplicity and speed are more essential than ever. Just a few seconds can make all the difference between to overcome the opponent or being dominated by him. Again, thank you very much for this video. I learned a lot, hoping that I'll never have to use these technics. But we never know...

Great video about countering a very common attack.
Also I’m a little jealous of Chris’s thick curly hair. I had a beautiful loaf of hair like that at one time.
I am really enjoying your expression of martial arts and self defence.

@@JoelHuncar It's only hair, don't worry about it, it doesn't matter.
And in a fight it's a total liability: people can get hold of it and control your head while they beat the bejesus out of you; and people can set fire to it and, while you're busy putting it out, beat the bejesus out of you some more.😊

Good techniques. So many other options too; gunting, arm wrap, elbows, etc. Really depends on style and what you train & prefer.

    He's 6'-4". I'd suggest a head-but and and eye-gouge against his tiny opponent.
