O Most Holy Trinity our God, glory to Thee ☦️
Thanks be to God for the Mystery of Salvation especially through the Eucharistic New Covenant instituted by Christ, to enable everyone He called and chose to experience His work of salvation in a blessed, very intimate, unique and personal relationship.
Thanks be to God for the Uncreated Energy of the kingdom of God given to the Church on earth with all its richness, miraculous, Divine, no time nor space can stop its work.
May we all have your blessings Father Peter ☦️

the trouble goes way back: already Barlaam the heretical monastic, St Gregory's intellectual opponent, thought that the ancient Hellenic philosophers had an equal footing with the Church on the truth. His apophaticism was so strong as to deny any contact with the energies of God

Whether or not there even *can* be gods, the evidence is pretty clear that none of these gods can be the ones described by Christian mythology, or from the ancestral Hebrew cults these gods are copied out of. This evidence includes not only the science of what we know for sure that also explains what the biblical authors thought on topics, not only the better and more accurate picture of history we get from the combination of archaeology and the cross reference of it as widely as possible with historical accounts-- but the biggest evidence against this mythology is the Bible itself, which is so full of contradictions, logical fallacies, outright lies and stunning ignorance, that it is difficult to even anthologize the number of errors in that text- but these errors can approximately be divided into the categories of "historical account", "historical account with license taken by the author", "outright lies told by the author for ideological gain", "outright lies believed by the author", and "things everybody in the author's known world were wrong about anyway that had no possibility of being recorded correctly".
If nothing else, any thinking person should be offended by the puroposition of a church that, out of one side of their mouth, spreads idiot conspiracies about Jews doing the things they wish they took the responsibility to do themselves, and out of the other, spreads the cult of worshipping the Jewish Zeus that saw fit to give you all these conspiracies to contend with.

The Old Testament, in which all Christian leaders teach is the word of God, is clear
God cannot be split into parts
....God, a Holy Spirit, and a Christ, the spiritually disastrous invention at the Council of Nicaea in 325.
Simultaneous belief in Christianity (Judaism 2.0) and the Old Testament/Tenakh, is impressive mental gymnastics.
    Why?
Christian leaders believe 100% of the Old Testament.
The Old Testament is clear, when Christ/Messiah comes:
1- He will not be divine
2 - The entire world will worship God, and know he is the only true God...one God, not split into three parts, or gods.
3 - No other entity/being/person, can take the sins away of another aka scapegoating.
True acts of repentance are required, and internal repentance too is required
.....then God forgives, directly, no belief of/in a savior required
The entire world did not worship God during the time of Jesus, or today.
    Therefore, Jesus fulfilled no prophecies.
    Result?
Church leaders after the year 100 invented
..."Jesus, The Return" aka The Second Coming.

The virgin birth is nowhere in the Old Testament.
      The verse you refer to?
In Hebrew the word used was "young woman", not a virgin.
It was deliberately mistranslated so the passage would appear Christological.
The same word is correctly translated from Hebrew over 20 times to "young woman".
So, why do you think in this one, and only one instance, the Hebrew word for "young woman" was mistranslated to "virgin"?
Also, why was the past tense deliberately changed to future tense over 20 times?
Deception and reverse engineering by the translators to appear Christologocal.
The passage about the young woman clearly states in Hebrew "was born", not "will be born".
Jesus did not fulfil the prophesies outlined in the original Bible.
The world will know peace and universal worship of God when Messiah comes per the Old Testament.
Sorry, it didn't happen 2000 years ago, nor today. You've been deceived by the creators of the Christian faith.
Best wishes in your search for truth.
"The Jewish Messiah: Why We Reject Jesus" by a Rabbi...try to debunk his facts about the Old Testament.
