    Had to cut down an oak tree in our central Florida yard so I have a lot of free wood and looking to cook with it. I'm hoping the flavor cooking over wood coals is better than charcoal. Thanks for the video. Love that char you got! New sub.

      That's a matter of taste. For me, this is almost therapeutic. The birds the rooster, the music.. the sound of the burning wood.

    Can I use basic camp fire wood to cook on ? Or should I just bring charcoal and use that to cook with? Going camping next weekend.

      Exactly, I was asking myself the same question, it looks good and beautiful but it's a waste of wood, unless he cooked more, trees doesn't grow in one day.
