Wood Fired Pizza Ovens: Everything You Need to Know! (New Version)
On man fantastic channel! We are moving back to Spain in late 2025 and the second house we bought has two outside brick ovens. I have so many ideas now!!!!!!!
Thanks for sharing this recipe. I built a pizza oven this year, and plan on cooking 2 ducks for Xmas. My retained heat 24 hours after baking pizza is 360C, which sounds perfect for putting the ducks in according to your info. I‘ll just need to monitor the temp to ensure it drops to around 170C as to not burn it. Merry xmas
That's not Osso Boco. Not even close.
Finally, a great method for the "butterfly" method of a chicken. Looked great!
That's awesome, man!
Great! 🤩
Wonderful!
Excellent idea!
No such thing as a bone in rib-eye steak. When the bone is attached it’s a “rib steak”, then the bone is removed it’s a ribeye.
Pizza quail😂
Cancel. I don't have a wood fired oven
Why do you use an AI voice vs your own?
Not everyone wants to put themselves out there like that, they’re probably just quite pleased with what they can do with the wood fired oven and wanted to show it. I agree that the AI voice took a little bit away from the nice footage and thorough explanation. Poster, if you see this, get yourself a freelance voice actor maybe, because everything else here is top notch
Beautiful vid but those chickens are not cooked
You should talk to us. We’d love to hear the narrative about the recipes
Probably very tasty stuff, but its not osso bucco
Great points. I am currently just starting second oven build. 4 times bigger than the first. Your oven design is flawed. the opening is entirely too big
Beautiful cut
OMG: you have almost reached the meting point of aluminum. Are you sure with your approach ? Did you consider some other meet cover ?
seriously. it was a relaxing video but temps are way off that ain’t smoking chicken.
Dang bro these some good things to consider
Good video. It meets my expieriences completely. However, there is one advice 4:06 to you: If you light your fire from above, your fire will start with much less smoke! Your neibours will be grateful, and so will be your wife! 😂 You know: Happy wife - happy life! 😂
Nope
Great video! I just bought my own wood-fired pizza oven from ilFornino, and after watching this, I can relate that a wood-fired oven really does make a difference in the taste and cooking experience.
👌Delicious fresh bread Strong organic flour, salt and warm water. No Gm anything, No sugars, No additives, No nonstick plastic, No fossil Fuels, No plastic bag.
Wonderful! I've been trying to fire my new pizza oven (similar size as yours - 90 cm of diameter). However I couldn't reach out such a high degrees. I use oak wood and waiting 2-3 hours with keep adding new woods but at the end I have been capable to reach max 400 Fahrenheit in the basis of the oven. What would be wrong in your opinion? Any suggestion? Thank you in advance! :)
🇳🇱 Thank Nice Recipe, wat is the White stuf in the saus ?
Hi chef
Hi, how long did it grill for overall? Great video btw, you have inspired me to try this! Cheers
BURNT
What’s the timing for the cook?
Bottom is not crispy.
Going to try this!
How long you cook it for?
How it's too tenderwirhout any cooker and marination????
I'm not an expert at cooking or making content by any means, but wanted to offer some critiques since this is a growing channel. The video quality and production is completely fine (Oil pouring B-roll and rotating butter shot was fantastic add more shots similar to this) but I feel as though this might work better as a longer video (can keep the voice over) or edited down to fit the length of a YT short. I don't have any issues with the title because technically it was cooked over an open flame using a cast iron. The cooking method you used is unique and attention grabbing considering most of the equipment you used looks to be expensive and not easily accessible for people without space on their property. No person would spend that amount of money for some of the items or products in your videos unless they were passionate about food. As for the cook itself, I think the amount of oil used is excessive. Since the heat from the flame is so hot you're essentially deep frying your food with that amount. The herbs, butter, and garlic have burnt due to the heat and could have been added at a lower temp after the crust was formed. You can see the milk solids from the butter float at the top of the oil, maybe try clarified butter with that temp next time. For the mushroom with cream sauce, you used the excess beef fat from the steak which is giving a plus to the flavor, unfortunately might be stuck with some bitter/burnt notes from the aromatics and butter. The cream sauce is visibly broken when you added it on top of the cut steak for the final shot which gives it an unappealing greasy look. Gonna want to let the sauce simmer at a lower temp for longer to emulsify. The steak on camera looks to be rare possibly even cold in the middle and I would be flat out honest in saying that to the viewer. You obviously know to season meats beforehand so nothing more to add. In the end, you're the one eating the food you're cooking so continue to make it in whichever way you please. Wishing you luck in growing the channel!
Thank you my friend
New content is coming very soon. Plz don't forget to subscribe 🙂
shallow fry? terrible
U are edging the taste test? When will we see u take a bite?
It’s not medium, it’s rare, also the seasoning part is a big mistake imo. Hope you’ll get better and good luck with this channel
to be fair, you didnt cook this over an open fire
You make it look easy… can’t wait to try it for my family
I built one after watching a youtube video from Australia. A pilates ball was used for the dome. Works well after 5+ years. 700 F is not a challenge.
I would use your actual voice, no one cares if your English isn’t great. I like your channel keep up the great work and you’ll get the subscribers
It would be helpful if you let us know how long you cooked in the oven and at what temperature. Love your content . How long did you leave it covered with foil and how long without foil and at what temperatures? Thanks
Full video recipe: ruclips.net/video/IBMxTxEgxXM/видео.html
Lamb looks fabulous
😊
This is like saying "Best Beef Stew Recipe" and then just cooking nothing but chuck roast and potatoes in the oven. Still tasty, but not same dish.
Where’s the sauce?
Love the silence and the sound just from birds and 🐓 . It I'd almost therapeutische. Good video! Keep up the good work Greeting the Netherlands
Thanks for the video, and thanks for mentioning the oven temperature as that is very important to know.
Really usefull video for me, I have new homemade pizza oven in the garden and watching some recepies... with not only pizza 🙂
Is it better to build or buy one that’s already made
Build yourself is always better. I'm building one in our backyard which is a fun project for our kids to help with. I must say though you will need skills. If you don't have skills perhaps don't try.
