I remember hearing Suicide Silence’s debut EP on MySpace years ago and got hooked on the California deathcore scene. Never would’ve imagined that I would find myself getting married to a lady from So Cal and eventually becoming part of the scene that was such a huge inspiration on me musically.
my issue is this you make a video on deathcore, which fine ok. But the 3 bands you got that are still going and the rest aint done shit in years. kinda defeats the whole reason on why i would think you would make this video in general. seeing how there are SOOO MANY BANDS that are still out there up and runing and touring. i think you need to make this one again and this time do some research on the music. cause im not really a big youtuber but i got a channel and understand that you need to bring intel on current bands in general to get people to understand the bands
Understandable this video was on the original bands that started the deathcore wave in California not current bands holding down the scene that video is coming this was an introduction to the first and second wave of California deathcore acts
Hey guys not to burst your bubble but the origin of Deathcore was started in early 91-93 in NY with bands fusing early death metal with NYC hardcore... Darkside nyc, All out war, Confusion and Goatamentise... keep one thing in mind core suppose to have those hardcore influences just because a band does 30 breakdowns in a song doesn't mean they have hardcore influences.... check out those bands history and you will see it pre dates what many call Deathcore now
no sorry deathcore came around in the early 2000s so sorry their. i honestly dont know where you got your intel but deathcore is honestly only about 20 to 25 years old. been in it since day one and got a few friends that are in bands and tour. and if your thinking hardcore is deathcore your sadly mistaken. cause hardcore is honestly nothing more then hatebreed in general. which is a far cry from deathcore
@@icecastleunderground i did read the title then it should just say then the 2nd wave of deathcore in Southern cali cause most people feel this was where deathcore was started and thats not true.... thats like saying Venom and bathory was not the 1st wave of black metal Mayhem and emperor are or possessed, Death and obituary wasn't the 1st wave of death metal amon amarth and arch enemy is... you did a great job with your video but deathcores origins did not start in Cali in 2000 started in NY early 90's Goatamentise, all out war, confusion and Darkside NYC you can check for sure on all those bands I mentioned

The inception of the genre isn't the point, nor did the original pioneers leave a significant impact like Southern California's establishment of the genre did. The bands that move the needle and make a significant impact on a scene is what matters, not who does it first.
@@AGuyUwU i get you're point but it is implied that the genre was created by these bands it wasn't creation or rise of southern deathcore its the rise of a genre that claims was created by these bands now if it was the rise of new york deathcore , California deathcore or Louisiana deathcore thats fine but again its implied they created it and its not true 1991 started with All out war, confusion, Darkside NYC and Goatamentise... I won't deny these bands started their rise but it was created in NY 1991.

Southern California is the most important scene in the genre. It's subjectively the most influential part of the entire world.
