Forgive the question What is the name of that tube that has heat wrap that is connected to the EGR valve you mentioned in the beginning please? I need to find that tube
I have the same year car same engine and I have a code p1605 it runs on 3rd gear from start I can’t figure out why it was running fine before I changed the valve cover gasket but I didn’t change anything are you familiar with this issue
Check any wiring you may have touched while doing the valve cover gasket, maybe something came unplugged. My Sentra was a 5 speed so I'm not sure about the automatics.
@@DeadReckon I only removed the coils! I figured they are the same because the motor as the same I was messing with the overdrive button and now it doesn’t work! Could it be a ground issue
As long as you don't have emissions in your area, it won't hurt, just leave the electrical plug connected or the car won't run right. As long as the car thinks the EGR is working that's all you need
I have an idle problem in my 2001 nissan sentra- it idles normal then out of nowhere it drops down to 500rpms then back to normal. And it does this every minute or so. Over and over, it’ll randomly idle down low enough to cut off completely while I’m driving. It’s extremely annoying. Do you think it’s the EGR valve?
@@TattoosbyNoah It helped a bit bypassing the EGR on my car but the problem is these cars are just damned weird. 4 O2 sensors, a weird variable length intake, my car won't idle unless I have something drawing down on the engine. Like the headlights causing the alternator to work or the AC on. Is your car an automatic or manual? Just curious I've noticed digging around in junkyard cars that a lot of the things that make our cars strange is missign on 2003 and up Sentra's that have the slightly different bodywork but are the same car.
So I found out it was a dirty throttle body. So I tried cleaning it. And it worked for about a week. Then it got dirty again. I don’t understand what’s causing it to do this
😂🤣😅🤣🤣😂 you sound like me with Goldie.. always doing something extra lol

@@johngom1412 I'm not sure, I had an overdrive issue in my '94 Sentra, I had to change the entire shifter to fix that.
@@DeadReckon thanks for the info
Good video boss...how's the Oldsmobile running? The 77?
There's a video on wha thappened to it, it got wrecked back in 2015 unfortunately. I still miss that car.
In this case you can replace the egr instead pulling out the magnet? Will this help?
The nuts were rusted badly and I didn't want to risk breaking them off
Is it okay to take this part out?

@@imthetattooguy What's it plugged with? Oil? If it's oil it's a bad PCV (Positive crankcase ventilation) valve.
