I have been learning a lot about my recent diagnosis from your videos. Thank you for making them. ❤ I do agree with other commenters that it's difficult to hear you. Could you get a mic?
Hi, i have pulmonary hypertension. I can walk/jog normally on the treadmill, without feeling too winded. If i jog, i typically dont go above 5.5 mph to 6 mph, and limit myself to 1 mile. My oxygen using my SPO2 finger sensor, usually stays at 95 (my average at rest is usually 94/95/96, if i really focus on breathing, i can touch 98 briefly). My question is, if im walking or jogging, breathing is heavy, but not gasping for air. Should i push myself harder, to where breathing is a little more difficult, as long as im monitoring my oxygen, using the finger monitor?
Ok ty. I was recently diagnosed in January by an echo, haven't had a RHC yet. Want to try to stay active but definitely don't want to do more harm. Thanks!
I have copd and pulmonary hypertension. I try to walk on my treadmill everyday about a half mile Some days are better than others. I have coughing fits once in a while and have to stop to catch my breath. I walk with my O2 on about 7 lpm. Trying to increase my stamina. Do I try to walk farther or turn down my O2? Thanks for your time and help 🌞
That’s a great question. You would want to increase the amount of time that you walk and little bit weekly. It’s very important not to stress your body too much with pulmonary hypertension. Listen to your body. 🫁❤️
You’re welcome!!

Well, in my opinion, you shouldn’t push yourself too hard if you have pulmonary hypertension. It can cause your heart and lungs to work too hard.

Thank goodness for captions...we can hardly hear you

@@BreatheBetterwithElizabeth Thanks for your input very appreciated 👍🏻

What if my 10 is everyone else's 2.
Don’t worry about other people. Everyone is different, you have to listen to your body.
Never compare yourself to someone else. Only focus on doing the best you can that day. Next week, you may have a better week, and surprise yourself.
We cannot hear you well
So sorry! I’ll try to start speaking louder!
