Is aminophylline used as a "last resort" in the USA for asthma exacerbations? It's used in the UK from time to time, albeit is quite controversial. Great video, as always!
How I explain my severe asthma attacks feels like is like my lungs are like pumps like i have to manually breathe and have to actually think about breathing but my lungs at the sametime feel like they are just failing on me until i take my meds
I do have a question if happened someone with asthma came and she is already on SABA and ICS but she had exacerbated asthma you modified her medications and saw her after few months to see if she improved what medications you are going to de escalate. However, I heard even the ladder you mentioned in the video has changes and they don’t depend much on it anymore. What are the new guidelines then

I think according to BTS sign and nice guidelines it is Saba and ics then combination inhaler of these two then if not working add in leukotriene
@@kandacepereira795 idk but from what I have read they don't consider saba anymore cause remodeling happens mostly with it. They prefer LABA now
