Dude, thank you so much for this video. Its so well done. Im not a medical student or anything like that. I am 32 and I have had asthma my entire life. This rocks. You guys are great at hitting the key info without getting bogged down. The visual representations are mint too. Unironically a much better education on this topic than what I got in my university class.

I do have a question if happened someone with asthma came and she is already on SABA and ICS but she had exacerbated asthma you modified her medications and saw her after few months to see if she improved what medications you are going to de escalate. However, I heard even the ladder you mentioned in the video has changes and they don’t depend much on it anymore. What are the new guidelines then
I think according to BTS sign and nice guidelines it is Saba and ics then combination inhaler of these two then if not working add in leukotriene
@@kandacepereira795 idk but from what I have read they don't consider saba anymore cause remodeling happens mostly with it. They prefer LABA now
According to the Global Initiative for Asthma 2023 SABA PRN is used as a reliever in case of acute exacerbation. Low dose ICS-LABA is the starting point and then step up.
@@salva_abuor yees I saw GINA 2023 guidelines and it is pretty much similar to SINA 2023 guidelines but SINA uploaded 2024 guidelines and they use LABA now. I believe we are going to see a major change
Please do teaching on diabetes
