- The Seiko Chronograph watch, model SSB403, is a Big, Chunky, Unique-looking watch. When paired with the double-pass nato strap its thickness rivals some Invicta watches. Is it racing-inspired? Is it meant to look like an automotive flywheel?
Thank you very much for making this video! Your comments on the design aspects of the watch are just to the point. I was about to buy a similar model (ssb397) as it seemed beautiful when I first wore it, but after a while something felt too much on the dial of this watch. Your explanation helped me decide for a more simple design, like the ssb379.

I've had this watch for about a week and I had to comment on this video. If I had watched this video before I purchased it, I might not have done so because the watch does indeed look huge on screen. However I have to say that it sits in the wrist way, way smaller than what pictures might lead one to believe. And I say that as someone who really has an issue with banging their watch on things if it is too thick. Nicely done video, but for those thinking about buying it, try it on first because I think it will sit on your wrist smaller in real life than you might think.

HI, can you tell me the exact width of the strap? In video Eric said 22m lug distance, but on some websites I found that lug distance is 20mm if I want to purchase a stainless steel armband

Hey Pig in a Blanket. Thanks for watching. I appreciate it. I no longer have the watch, it was a loan from a friend. But at the 8:45 second mark in the video you can see it on a black racing two-piece strap. I thought it looked great on that. Hope that helps.
That's the very first bad review for this watch. And you make me think, you're definitely right about the nato strap, it must be changed to a 2 pieces strap.
But regarding the dial, is there any non busy - chronograph that I'm missing out? All Chronos are busy and is part of the joy.
I'm still buying it, the black and white one.

Hello crashbanz3. That is the Seiko 7t92-0CF0. Sometimes referred to as the “Flighty”. It’s not made anymore but you may be able to find a use one.

Hi williwmjc7195. Sorry this is an old video and i no longer have this watch. Looks like i did not mention the lume in this video (sorry this is one of my early videos). Seiko lume is typically good just a question of how much of it is on the dial. Sorry i don’t have a lume shot to share with you.
