One brilliant song after another, played by the best band from that era (yeah I said it). Difford and Tilbrook were truly the Lennon/McCartney of the 80's. And Glenn hasn't lost a step on guitar-very underrated in that area, that truly only comes out in a live setting.
So tight and these songs are not easy to play and sing properly. I'm very glad a couple comments recognize how fine a guitar player Glenn is. He's great. Band sounds amazing.
My first Squeeze gig was The Top Rank Southampton in 1978. We knew then that the songs would sound as fresh 45 years later. The world is a better place with the music of Squeeze.
Squeeze (or at least Difford and Tilbrook) should have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame years ago. Their production from 1978 to 1982 (before the temporary to shift to Difford and Tilbrook as a duo) alone merits it. Other, less talented, artists from the New Wave era have already been inducted. The only problem is the size of the stage needed to hold all of present and former members of the band…aside from Chris and Glenn.😊
What a great band. So glad I came across this video and it's only a week old. For me, they were right up there with their contemporaries, the Clash, Roxy Music, the Smiths, New Order, Depeche Mode and many others. I need to rebuy ArgyBargy.
It's not the Pop Hall of fame. If it was they'd have been in there right after Argy Bargy. But, seeing as they induct pop stars into the Rock and Roll Hall of fame??? It's a disgrace they aren't there already.

Glenn Tilbrook - not only a great composer and singer but a blinding lead guitarist too! Chris Difford - kudos for the words and vocal harmonies. Truly fantastic band! I might yet catch them live. After over 40 years of being a fan!
Brilliant absolutley brilliant, who would of thought Boy George would be singing with them in 2024....These guys just get better, what a bunch of musicians.

At the time, I was a first officer for Virgin Atlantic.. from my flat Chris Evans played this track.. on way to Heathrow it was played again. By the time we landed in and I came back this record was all over. Brings back, thank you Sqeeze x
Thank you for uploading this, one of my all time favourite bands, they sound incredible. Real songwriters and none of that underpants filler you have to put up with today, and hats of to that drummer, that man is as tight as my ex, top show all round. 🙏🙂
This is what a reunited band should be I know they had their disagreements and took a break I saw them in early 1990's they sound great the voices and musicianship embrace the past and rock out ... and a new album too 😎
Right On Chaps!! Good On yer......Still Sound GREAT!!!! Love Love Love all the way from Maine! I first saw you folks introducing Argy Bargy at the Paris Cinema, Oak Street , Portland Maine, 1978 opening for the Tubes.
Saw them just a couple weeks before this…. Great show I wanted to see this one but it was in the middle of the week and I might be that small slice of their fan base that isn’t retired yet. ;-)
Saw Squeeze open for David Bowie way back in 1987 at Veterans Stadium in Philadelphia. Still one of my favorite concerts I've ever been to. Squeeze was good enough to headline but Bowie was on top of the world at that time. Fantastic show!
I live in NYC and have been a huge Squeeze fan for over 40 years. I had no idea Squeeze was playing Summer Stage. Bands need to promote. I would have happily paid to see them one more time.
I’ve been a fan of Squeeze ever since I first heard Cool For Cats, back when I was in high school. Saw them for six dollars on the pier at a WPLJ concert. I think it was 35 bucks to see their farewell concert at Madison Square Garden. Honestly, the six dollar concert was a better show. But it’s great to see and hear them playing together again. One of my favorite bands ever.
Squeeze come from my manor in London. I’ve seen them so often locally over the years since the 80s. Quality songs and arrangements. The octave singing is so striking. So evocative of London & SE London streets.
Very LONDON ....well then ...from London in that time myself ..and musician, what great songs ...the words really tell stories ...loved this band ...of Yonder ....wonderful.
One of the greatest bands ever. Yet so underrated. Lyrics, music, presentation always 💯. Seen them over 20 times and never a bad performance. Get better and better.
I have tinnitus and don’t go to many shows anymore. I have to wear earplugs which ruins the experience for me, so thanks for posting all of the concerts!
Have you tried something like Minuendo Lossless earplugs, rather than ‘normal’ foam plugs or similar? It’s like having control of the bands PA, you can decide how much to lower the volume but it doesn’t mess with the frequencies - everything stays balanced, just at a lower volume.

Snap!
My first Squeeze gig at Lewisham Odeon 1979 when they supported the Police - amazing gig
I'm so in love with the one off octave lead vocal sound, so unique to the Squeeze signature . 😊
We went to see Squeeze in Cardiff last friday Oct 24 still as great as ever, fantastic musicians

Glenn still has his awesome guitar chops. Have loved these guys for years.
What a great band, thanks for filming/ posting!
Really enjoyed Glenn's guitar playing - hadn't realised he was so good.
Glenn has been criminally overlooked in the pantheon of best lead guitarists.
Glenn is a fantastic guitarist.
I saw these guys in Santa Barbara back in the 80's and they were great!
Great concert, great memories .Didn't realize how accomplished Tillbrook is on the guitar
Many of his solos on the albums are perfect mini compositions. Fantastic guitarist.
He performs incredible solo shows. Mindblowingly good.
