Sarasota to Anna Maria Island and Back 2024 Bicycle Ride

‪@Dean_Trips‬ rides his bike from his home in Sarasota north along the Legacy Trail to downtown Sarasota, then over to Longboat Key and up to Anna Maria Island. The Spring Break Traffic is very heavy at times, but for the most part a bike lane allows a fairly safe ride. The wind is blowing from the south which made a stronger effort to return. Dean visits Siesta Key then stops at the Big Water Fish Market near Crescent Beach to buy salmon for a post ride meal.

I stayed on Anna Maria about a year ago and rode to Marina Jack (and back). I’ll be there again in a few weeks and randomly saw a video about the Legacy Trail from Sarasota to Venice. Great! So I then researched how to get to the Sarasota trailhead. Your video showed me exactly how to do it (in reverse)! Thank you!
