Bukhansan National Park Korea Hike 2024

‪@Dean_Trips‬ Dean hikes on a work trip layover in Seoul, Korea in April 2024. Dean takes the subway then the number 704 bus to the Bukhansan Exploration Support Center and begins his hike to the top of the highest peak in the national park. The beautiful Saturday morning becomes more busy as Dean begins to hike back down from Bukhansan Baegundae Peak. Dean works his way along the fortress wall and continues hiking past many gates and visits other peaks before he descends a different route. Dean visits the Buddhist Temple (Samgaksan Geumseonsa) before exiting the Bukhansan National Park and returning by buses. Dean covers 17.76km (11 miles) and climbs altogether 1431 meters (4695 feet) in over 7 hours total time on the trails.
