- @Dean_Trips Dean runs a half marathon while on a work trip layover in Germany. Dean arrives in Stuttgart, rents a car to drive to beautiful Nördlingen just inside of Bavaria, then runs at 5pm the Ipf-Ries-Halbmarathon running race. The half marathon 13.1 miles (21.1 km) follows a course from the start to Bopfingen, just over the border in Baden-Württemberg. This point of view video has camera movement and a bit distracting arms and hands movements throughout the run as Dean paces himself to the finish enjoying the scenery and enthusiastic cheering onlookers. This is a shorter version of the race.
Have you tried Hamburg or Berlin?
I have not. This was actually my first half marathon. I’ve heard the Berlin marathon is really great, Hamburg must be nice too. My friend in the Netherlands says that the Rotterdam one is special because of all the fans that line the route.
