Man, this guy can play! Great review of this amp. Very sad to hear that he is no longer with us...passed as a result of a swimming pool accident in Spain. Seemed like a very down to earth kind of person...likeable. If I can learn to play only about a very small fraction of what he was able to accomplish on the guitar, I will be very pleased. RIP MC.
thankful for the few tips I was able to learn from Michael, sadly missed, great teacher, player & seemed like a nice guy that liked passing his passion on to others, sadly missed, RIP Michael.
Late to this review but I have been looking for a small head to gig with since I traded my Mark V. You, sir, just sold me on this Rectoverb 25 over the TA 30 and V 25. Beautiful guitar playing. Thx
Nice playing; nice sounding amp, regardless of where the switches were, and a very cordial demo. This demo covered the product quite well except that I would have liked to have heard the amp without reverb. All the demos just love the reverb; but you don't want reverb on everything and there are places that you just can't use reverb due to live acoustics; so it would have been nice to hear what it sounds like dry. This is a really nice amp. Thanks for demoing.
I was thinking about getting this amp or the new badlander. I think this one is better for practice, as it can run at 10 watts too, I believe. What do you guys think
Good player. Good review. Premier guitar channel should take notes. These are the type of guitar players that need to be reviewing amps, not rhythm guys who struggle thru licks, no offense
Its funny how things work... His playing style, while super talented, is solo far from my musical interests, its hard to truly appreciate some off the amp's finer details.
I play in a 6 piece band, with a loud drummer and gig with this amp un-mic'd. It cuts through unbelievably well and sounds amazing. Best amp I've ever owned and have had quite a few.
Without a doubt. I have the head version with the 1x12 mini recto closed back slant with the wide 1x12 cab open back together and its cleans are just absolutely amazing. It has the ability to come through any mix
RIP to a great guitar player...Michael Casswell!!!

The sea. Not a swimming pool.
What a drag

Such an incredible guitar player. May he R.I.P.
OMG Fantastic Playing...somewhere between Jeff Beck and Steve Vai 😍 He makes the Rectoverb sound soo good
I'm miss Michael such a talent we lost way to early

Great Amp, best I have owned. Nice playing, a Jeff Beck fan I would say:-)
I'm hating the fizz coming from those EMGs. You can tell this amp could use some decent passive pickups,IMO.
ironz18 Some Alnico II humbuckers might make a great pairing, come to think of it.
I thought , for some reason those were lace sensors.
CoverCritic Shane No,they're old EMGs,prefered by Mr. Casswell.
You mean the recto fizz? All these amps are like that

Yeah for shredders!
Best demo of this amp
What Mic was used to record This?
nice review, love my mini rectifier.

Is this thing loud enough to play in a 5-piece band without mic'ing it???

i have a rectoverb 50 combo and on a dark stage its near impossible to see the volume and tone controls.
Get a red lamp, pointing to your amp. It works on stage.
💚RIP I didn’t know this guitar player but I’ll add my sympathies.
That blue mustang is so cherry
U.S. $1250.00 Still seems like good deal.
greatvanzinni four channel, all tube, handmade in America includes switches, can drop to 10 watts, spring reverb...ridiculous deal.
is beyond awesome on the geetrat
Nice playing. R.I.P.
Fancy playing do U have any lessons on line ha
