- Hey guys! Welcome back to another Saiga GeneCast game review. Today I will be analyzing Flag to Flag, a formula one racing game for the Sega Dreamcast. When I first picked up this game for my collection, I thought it was going to be another mediocre racing game. Turns out this game took me in for a wild surprise. Stick around in this video in order to find out if it surprised me for the better or for the worse.
You may have noticed the amazing picture quality of the Sega Dreamcast. That can be only accomplished by VGA. It is a video format that you are probably using right now to connect your computer to your monitor. The Dreamcast can out VGA through a VGA box. There are many different boxes out there. The one that I am using is the Retro Bit and it only costs $25. With that amazing device, Dreamcast games look absolutely stunning.

I was 11 when this came out on Dreamcast back in late 1999. These graphics were next level!!! This shit looked fuckin amazing! Also it was the first racing game I played which had a cockpit view
No kidding, I was 1 at the time lol. I'm sure the graphics looked amazing, especially when the Playstation 1 was compared. That's cool, it probably helped immerse you in it.

Great review. Bought a dream cast just for this game when it first released. Would definitely pick up again.
to be fair, for the "story" part, you write your own story, depending on how well or how bad you do throughout the season

I hope so. Flag to Flag is not exactly like AAA game amazing, but it is alright. I heard that the 2 player mode is pretty good, so I'm looking forward to trying it out with you in the summer.

Saiga GeneCast Awesome Racing Game In The World And Original Daytona USA Was From The Arcade And They Imported To Sega Saturn Back In The Day And Would You Ever Get Your Own Model 1 Of Sega Saturn Because I Have A Model 2 Of Sega Saturn And Sega Saturn Was Release On Spring 1995 May 11th 1995.
I would love to own a Sega Saturn, as it seems like an awesome system. However, when I last checked, the game are expensive to collect. Is there any cheap Sega Saturn games to own other than Daytona USA and Nights into Dreams?

Thanks for the review! I have to try it out. Loved Monaco Grand Prix/ Racing Simulation 2 and F1 World Grand Prix on the Dreamcast but never played this one. Just not sure if it was even available here in Germany.

needs some research on what Arcade mode is about too. Seems he wants Arcade to just be a diferent Championship

True, but to be fair, Flag to Flag was a better racing game than the F1 game that was made for Dreamcast.
Your grading system is FLAWED.
Suffers so badly from being a upgraded PSX game. Controls in this game make it essentially worthless to me and thats while everything else is very good about it
Upgraded psx game? No that is crazy its a launch game so early dc graphics, its a sega ip so no psx port, controls are actually spot on
@@robm2007 I know it's Sega IP, The controls and lack of adjustment make this a game that is totally flawed. As soon as you use reduced steering depending on how fast you are driving, the game is finished when it comes to people using a steering wheel
