- Our 12th Dreamcast launch title is, inexplicably, our second open-wheel racing game, and being unavoidably contrasted against the maniacally exacting "Monaco Grand Prix", "CART: Flag to Flag" reveals itself as an overly casual, disappointingly rudimentary experience, kinder than "MGP" but also less distinct, a shame for a league that would cease to exist less than a half-decade from the game's release.

Champ Cars were incredible - Flag To Flag has its shortcomings, mainly in the handling, but stick with it and it is surprisingly fun to play.

I remember playing CART precision racing for PC and having some fun in that game....and then i saw this game and to be fair while it has a good OST (especially track 6 love that one), its an alright game that i had fun with! using a wheel with this game gave me a sense of an arcade experience too as a kid.

I though this would be pretty bad, considering it didn't even release in Europe. But I guess it was because CART wasn't big over here. I imported it many years later and it turned out to be pretty good. Plays well with the wheel. Just a shame many of the tracks are ovals. 7/10
Have to disagree with the handling of Flag to Flag, I consider the handling pretty flawless, once you learn to manipulate the reverse with the b button, you’ll start flying around corners and into the straights.

I agree with choosing Hydro Thunder lol ne er played this game either. But at least its accessible unloke the other one. So many launch games. I would be upset if all that was left on the shelf was this lol would head to another store with a lot of hope on other games.
This game didn't know what it wanted to be. I think it ended up having no audience because of it.
