It would be funny if Onslaught ends up showing up in X-Men 97. Would the second Marvel character that I recognize from these games to show up in mainstream media. First one was Thanos. :p
I think it's hilarious how most other characters get these dramatic or cool ending scenes, but for Mega Man, Onslaught is just another robot to defeat and steal his powers from. Like, no big deal, he does this for breakfast.

I had so much PTSD from this fight as a 6yr old kid I could never beat him, by the time I finally made it to his 2nd form I'd have hardly any health left and get one shotted lol
I've only ever beaten him with Chun-li, although I could probably do it using the same strategy with Megaman here. I don't know how you kill him with characters who don't have good projectiles or hover in the air while attacking like Chun.
