I had the thought that he could be the ultimate big bad in an X-Men vs. Avengers War film series, after they find out he manipulated them into fighting each other
Yeah, Hulk splitting Onslaught's armor was INSANE because in doing so Hulk's punch split the very atoms the material of the suit was made of that's how hard Onslaught was hit
"He is ridiculously overpowered.: Aw man, he sure is. I wonder what his weaknesses coul... "Aaannd that about wraps it up guys! Make sure you..." Oh wow he's THAT powerful. Understandable.
The way he was originally beaten was kinda messed up: Hulk punched Onslaught so hard that it seemed to destroy him. All it did was crack open Onslaught's shell, allowing him to manifest as being of pure psychic energy that was completely immune to physical attacks! So the Avengers and Fantastic Four rushed him and (somehow?) absorbed his essence, and then the X-Men KILLED THEM ALL in one final attack, which coincided with Franklin and Nate being pulled out. This dispersed Onlsaught enough that he just... ceased to exist.
@jason dixo I remember that too. The only mutant who could come into contact with Onslaught was Scarlet Witch, because of her hex powers which protected her
If Magneto rips the adamantium from Wolverine in this episode or the next, then we know for sure what will happen. We might just see Onslaught in the end credits for the last episode of this season and will be the baddie for S2!!!
This is why I don't understand their decision to not make Xavier an omega level mutant. According to their summary of his psionic ability, this level of power was simply something he should never have been able to wield - even if he had absorbed all of Magneto's power as well. But he didn't, he only absorbed the darkness of his mind. This makes me wonder if the real case is that Xavier has self imposed mental blocks to keep his power in check. I mean, he killed Shadow King, and that guy's omega level. Seems pretty inconsistent, arbitrary, and really unfair to me.
Likely because raw strength doesn’t mean omega level mutant. Xavier still doesn’t effect the actual world like iceman being capable of freezing the world.
Pretty sure he did put psychic blocks on himself to keep himself in check. Huge responsibility to know you can influence the minds of every human/ mutant on the planet so he probably did that as a self precaution… until witnessing Wolverine’s adamantium separation.
