They have lifetime warranties on all their parts (including wear items such as rotors and pads). They have OEM front rotors as low as $392.97 and Genuine Audi pads for as little as $95.54 and OE for $54.89. I was just curious if there was a reason you stayed away from them or not.

  • @andreipadurariu5364
    @andreipadurariu5364 5 лет назад

    I would have just replaced the pads for now and after another 10k km I would have done rotors and pads. That's what I did on my RS5 which has the same rotors, I took out at OEM pads and put EBC red stuff, got rid of all squealing.
    Also the OEM ceramic pads for my RS7 performance cracked after like 10k miles and were squealing and grinding like crazy. Luckily they were replaced under warranty...

    • @robbyjai
      @robbyjai 5 лет назад

      EBC Redstuff is absolute rubbish. PAGIDs are high end proper pads that are designed for heavy use high heat cycles. I use to do a lot of track racing and the EBC Redstuff just went to shit after a few proper race days. We're not talking running up and down a drag strip. We're talking full ball circuit racing. Gave up on the EBC anything and switched to the PAGID Blacks... race pads. night and day difference. Eddie chose the RIGHT brake pads. The other reason for changing ROTORS and pads at the same time is allowing the bedding in process and the pads and rotors to bed identically and match wear patterns for maximum grip and performance and longevity of the brake pads and improved braking. Cycling rotors and pads differently like you suggest reduces braking performance and efficiencies. Eddie has done this correctly. You are clueless bro

    These are Chinese made junk, they’ll wobble and shake your car aggressively. Return them, you have no choice, you need to get back there dealer and let them run your card.

    People that can really afford an RS7 aren't complaining about a $3500-$5K brake job.

      Some people that can afford expensive vehicles also likes to find deals on parts where available if one search around (like Eddie for example). I have a Panamera and a Ghost, I'm not going to pay those prices if there's better prices for the same thing.....I work on my own cars so I will also save huge on labor. I haven't replaced them on my cars yet since they're both very low mileage vehicles.

      We are complaining that dealers usually cost 2-3 times for the same job. Even tho we can afford to pay the dealer prices, why should we waste the money when we can do it ourselves and we can buy something else with the rest of the money, another spare set for example.

      Some of us are mechanically inclined and can do things for ourselves. It's not complaining. A fool and his money are soon parted.
