Hi....MR DIYER am from India tamilnadu I have idea to brought this paint spray gun for my house but have lots of doubts but now am very clear thank u friend God bless u
Thank you for taking the time for your work in identifying the problem.. AND offering a fix. I loved your method. 🎉 I just bought my PZ. Now I’m ready to go!
Hello Everyone, first sir thank you so much for solution thats was what I tought when I checked hose tempature was getting hotter, I immediatly see that air is blowing back, so I watched your video, and instead of opening a hole in device I rather opened a hole on hose (which is super easy to replace in case of need). You may stablise this comment so people can resolve it easier.
thanks for the video.i have now the confidence to use my paint zoom after watching your video.i bought mine 3 years ago and just used it once bcoz of overheating issue, but now i will be able to use it again.
Wow, Legit! Thank you so much. We just tried it now...the tiny hole really made a big difference in the temperature of the machine! Kudos, Mr DIYer...God bless!
You made my day. By your experiment I understand that the blower motor is much heavier than what it needs. One the solution is as you shown. Some other technical solutions are there 1, reduce the power supply by using step-down transformer from 220v to 150v or 170v, this will reduce the airflow psi as well as heating issue. I think it will even work on 110v. 2. Increase the winding of motor to slowdown rpm of the motor, in both these solutions the life of the motor also increases to twice or thrice, also it reduces the amount of consumption of electricity. Thanks for sharing such a great experiment.
Greeting from Malaysia.. Thank you Sir for the life changing advice. Wonder if you can make a video on replacing the plastic sprayer gun with the conversation aluminium gun... Thank you again
Thank you so much. Im planning to buy that paint zoom but upon reading the reviews some of the problem is that over heating. But i Think its not a problem anymore. Thank you sir! God bless. ☺️
Nice idea. My hand hurts when I touched the hot part. This will definitely eliminate this problem. Heat will still be there but won't hurt my hand anymore 😉👍😁
Thanks for the demonstration on this matter cause I was on my way to return this product 👌 witch I were waiting for a long time and arrived like 45min ago when I switched it in it got hot 🔥 and I thought it was broken. Would it help if you could somehow install something like a heatsink from a computer 🖥 please let me know if you have tried it.
Good job sir! Haven't used my paint zoom for years coz I felt that it might overheat, but I can now use longer. Thank you for the great ideas you shared! I also learned few car fixes from you several months ago! =)
Hello, Mr DIYer, I thought this video was great and I saw the positive result it caused in the pent zoom air outlet, the improvement is remarkable. How many millimeters is this hole you made in the zoom comb? Thank you, registered and good luck with your projects.
Hi! Sana may other exhaust work around like when you release the triger lilitaw ang open exhaust near the trigger. When trigger is pulled exhaust port closes. In short sa gun ang modification. Btw thank you sa informative video. Keep it up!
I love this video! I bought my PZ 2or 3 years ago & I just took it out to last week to read directions. This wil work great now with your guidance. Where does the other blue plastic piece you cut hole into come from? It looks to be a part from the machine.
helli , thanks for this great vedeo if I use the compressor zoom paint with un aother gun wich have a rugulator for the air flow I don't need any more to make the hole ?
The airflow on the front side of the machine is sealed for a reason, it's because it needs to create pressure. If you can notice, the vents on the rear side of the machine is open and the vents on the front side is shut close, it's to create pressure. If you're gonna do this, it will surely improve the airflow and cool the machine, but also reduces the pressure of the air coming out of the nozzle. Do it at your own risk
hi we bought this spray but my father say he try to put first water just to try it but the water didn't come out in spray can you help us how to fixed it thank you
I understand your way to prevent the overheating, but on another video the guy open the air inflow holes on the back of the machine, hoping that will decrease the temperature. This is the opposite of what you did, opening air outflow. So, do you thinking that this another solution may be good too?
1. installing a blower motor resistor switch what you call a (fan regulator) will produce more heat. resistance produces more heat, and the more you slow down the motor the more heat resistance it will emit and because you slow down the fan, that heat will not be dissipated, hence more heat. 2. drilling a hole a is far more easier than installing a blower resistor motor that will produce more heat and you still need to find a a convenient area where you can place it. but if you want to complicate your life then go that route, by all means be my guess lol.
I think the mutor is a problem Di naman siguro need to much air power..... Siguro dapat mababa lang ang wattage ng mutor...... Just to think of it.......

Quick question, what did you use to make a hole in it? Can a soldering gun do the job?
@@isiahmiguel848 step drill bit. But i supposed a soldering iron would work too

Makes sense with the hole drilling. thank you sir.
Thank you for sharing!
Thank you very much for this video!!!
Thanks! I will try it with my paint zoom.
What exactly did you do here? Did you make another hole or what?
Does the zoom produce much overspray? Thanks for the vids
You can always adjust the paint volume tht you can let out the knozzle.
Well done..good job .👍
Круто! Спасибо!
Good video and very informative. And I do hope that the rooster in the background was paired with a chicken :)
the company making this should award you.
thank you..
Wow! This is a very important detail, safety first.
Youre doing great . Keep it up bro
Excellent demostration! Now I can finally use my Zoom Paint Sprayer!
great video . Keep it up
Sir can i use touch wood the finished colour with this machine...?
Yes.
Nice video
I have this machine but can'ot used due to higher temperature. Please guide me how dia hole and where you have done.
Good vid dude but why not just run it with a proper spray gun like you tried it with ??
I buy today paint zoomer.with in 2 min get heat.this vidoes helpful me.thank you bro.
Hola muy buen vídeo que pasaría si hiciéramos dos orificios en la parte de atrás done entra el aire
Thank you Sir!!! :)
You try that in bike? Or flairings
Usar um dimmer dá menos trabalho, reduzirá a rotação e a pressão de ar, creio que reduza a temperatura.
Good evening sir I would like to ask how many cm would be the hole? Thank you for your great and informative video keep it up kabayan. God bless.
10mm sir
Maraming salamat po.
can u try to paint it on plastic brother?
thank you mister

good video....done sub
anu po kaya ang size ng carbon brass ng paint zoom...
pud pud na po kac ung sa loob ng painy zoom ko..
Not make any hole, just install a fan regulator to adjust blower motor speed and that's you made a air pressure control knob to this machine.
1. installing a blower motor resistor switch what you call a (fan regulator) will produce more heat. resistance produces more heat, and the more you slow down the motor the more heat resistance it will emit and because you slow down the fan, that heat will not be dissipated, hence more heat. 2. drilling a hole a is far more easier than installing a blower resistor motor that will produce more heat and you still need to find a a convenient area where you can place it. but if you want to complicate your life then go that route, by all means be my guess lol.
@@MrDIYer you can install regulator in power supply bord or pannel, not under blower casing ,so no more heating. LoL
