Installing the Braces on Acoustic Guitar #2 | How to build an Acoustic Guitar

Its time for the next step on this acoustic guitar build. I need to make, install, and shape the braces on the top and back plates. I'll be using my go-bar deck to clamp the shaped braces in place. Then I'll carve the braces to their final shape.

I really enjoy watching your creations..I graduated from HS in 1972 and I wish in our school system, girls could have taken " shop" shop" class as it was called rather than home economics! I think it is rather interesting that a back strip is used to reinforce the glue joint, when glue is supposed to be stronger than the lignin in the wood itself.

The transverse bar needs to be radiused as well?

From my understanding, it gets glued on flat.
