- Its time for the next step on this acoustic guitar build. I need to make, install, and shape the braces on the top and back plates. I'll be using my go-bar deck to clamp the shaped braces in place. Then I'll carve the braces to their final shape.

I really enjoy watching your creations..I graduated from HS in 1972 and I wish in our school system, girls could have taken " shop" shop" class as it was called rather than home economics! Who wants to learn how to iron clothes when you could build something out of various materials..now I can enjoy and learn from your YT channel. Hi! and watching from north central Minnesota..
Lovely work Jeff
Great job ,looks like it will have great tone ,and that is some serious x bracing!!
I think it is rather interesting that a back strip is used to reinforce the glue joint, when glue is supposed to be stronger than the lignin in the wood itself.
Haha I see what you did there. Your moving quick with this build.
Jeff are you going to make the .stl files for the brace profiles and sanding blocks available in your store?
The transverse bar needs to be radiused as well?
From my understanding, it gets glued on flat.
