That opening ollie over the dirt gap with the kid losing his mind over what he saw is the greatest thing in any skate video ever made. So cool to hear the entire backstory of that session from Jeremy in this break down. Thank you so much for this.
Lil guy definitely became a skater himself that day.
These break downs are the best shout out Jeremy Wray
The fact that he stuck a switch ollie down the Lincoln stairs in 1993 is mindblowing
I love his stance too. You can tell it's not comfortable but he still made it look good. They were literally creating the foundation for the future of skateboarding.
One of the best videos and video parts to ever be released. The Color team was lightyears ahead of its time.
For sure! And to think the company only lasted 8 months. 🤯 That video had a huge impact on the culture despite that.
@@exactam0 this video has been in my brain for almost 3 decades. I think about it daily. Glad to own a few copies on vhs and thank god for RUclips.
The gap olllie is still amazing, 30 years gone by. I loved this era.
That intro oLLie shocks me every time
I love these. I hope they can find some people with time to do more. JWray had put in some work doing these and time. Thank you so much for taking us on a ride in the past. Such good parts and definitely one of the guys who helped shape the skateboarding we see today.
Straight up legend and hero. I seen him Ollie over a lunch table the long way at Lockwood elementary back in the day. Also 411, I think it was number one or number three had him and Dill. He's one of my skate gods
What a legend!
Need a Geoff rowley breakdown
I freaking love the Color video!!
Jeremy's breakdowns are great, I'm hoping we'll get one for one step beyond eventually
agree, I love how he explains the trick, the location, what other people were in there, etc.
Yeah I want to know the location of that sand stone quarter in the desert
My favorite skater!
We used to quote that lil kid "I don't believe what I just saw" lol legendary
we need jason dill part reactions
LEGEND
True street skateboarding COLOR!
We need those shapes too Jeremy!
"Look at these marks!"
best skate and story teller of all time jajaja,
From 🇧🇷 , blockhead skate boards The fiirst vídeo part i see of Jeremy wray.
A lot of this was in your 411vm profile part. You were doing the biggest shit at the time. As a kid just starting skating then, you blew my mind. I watched your 411vm part more than anything else. It really epitomized what skating felt like for me at that time.
So dang clear and concise! Love it!! ❤❤❤
I watched this video, and his Prime one, so often back in the day.
This was a great video at the time. I loved this. I bought a Color board and broke easily though. I still have fond memories from that era.
Amazing that a buddy got one color board with animals, elephants here on our tiny Reunion island at the time
A Markovich one, beautiful graphic, colorful
That is amazing, I'm from Mauritius so can relate to that.
These are the coolest. Do these with everyone please
bro can we get more uploads on this channel? more pros talking about their part please?
We use to spin out over that kids motorcycle looking bike after your 1st Ollie.
Thank you Jeremy
You've impressed us all all over the world, legend
Damn was hoping yall had him do his Adio part too
❤
is the 1st gap he does still there? i think it was in either orange or hb, but i remember seeing it as a kid and thinking "damn..."
🤘👽👽🤙👽🤙
He had a point about the gap clip... All these young cats that wanna dress like 93' should also have to make their board the same. Low tech trucks, baby wheels, and a 7.25.
For real tho. People don’t realize how gnarly this stuff was doing it on 7.5 decks 126mm trucks and 40mm wheels.
Next episode: Jeremy Wray Breaks Down His Nine Club Interviews.
You know those kids immediately tried jumping the Color gap on bikes after Jeremy and Jason left.
You're crazy, man. I'd be shocked if those groms could even bunnyhop.
Talking about raising the bar, you own that what.?
🛹🛹🛹
Clearly JWray didn't some much weed, he has a great memory!
🤴 🛹
Haha oblow😂
Nice 9club… 😮
