a man of many talents . I learned how to do a repair on my Honda civic off you before . this is a handy job . a trim would be great I suppose if you had one but you can only piss with the prick you have and if you have no trim this is what to do . its that simple .

Not the worst I've seen by a long way, even from some so called professionals.
House I'm in has ugly 1.5" trims either side of the windows, as the pros bodged the sizing.
His silicone looks better than that.

Silicone sealant isn't designed for wide joints. It'll pull away in a few years.

BS. If installed properly it performs perfectly it joints an inch wide or more. You don’t have a clue what you are talking about. I have installed sealants professionally for over 40 years and have installed silicone in joints over an inch wide and they are still in perfect shape after 20 years. The widest silicone joint I have ever installed was 4 inches and it is still good after 10 years. ( it was a seismic joint, I did not design it but was asked to seal it)

ive been in the glass glazing industry for 35 years and this not the way to seal a door .for a starters the door has been measured to small it should be a maximum 8/10 mm gap all round ,trimmed and then sealed

Just watched this,No,No,No, that is what you call a bodge job. As said door measured too small, even then,it would have looked neater with a trim instead of that ugly silicone, poor job,but he seems quite happy to promote his substandard work. Please people don't accept this standard of workmanship.Ahh,the penny had just dropped, this guy is not a window fitter at all, that explains the poor quality of work,he has also welding tuition video's

why did you bother fitting the frame, you could have set the glass in silicone. You are a dab hand at that mate. Oh maybe call a professional next time.
