Hey girl I just recently stopped wearing my hair natural, I don’t miss the long wash days and waking up with wet hair. I only been straightening my hair for 2 months and wash days super easy. I am a believer in do whatever works for you.
Agreed!
My scalp always burned (anything more than 7 mins)😢, and it never fully relaxed my hair since I had low density fine hair. I love my hair natural as I can straighten it and still keep my hair health. The only issue is my hair reverts really fast when I sweat. I wish there was a good between for silk presses.
Have you tried colorwow dream coat spray? I heard it works well for naturals as well as relaxed hair
Same issues with my hair. My scalp was itchy, my hair was dry.
I loved my relaxed hair for the longest time but could no longer figure out how to stop mine from breaking and I was also slacking on hair care tbh so I'm natural now. Even though I miss my relaxed hair, I'm scared of going back just to experience breakage again.
I agreed with all the pros and cons. Day-to-day relaxed hair maintenance is such a breeze.
Do what works. Some hair types can’t take a relaxer & I firmly believe you should prioritize hair health over how your hair looks. I have a videos on protective styles too ❤️
@@NiaraAlexis Yes your Goddess braids videos are on my watch list and I wanna do them myself because I'm tender-headed and I'm always in pain when someone else does my braids
Being aware of the products you use is definitely a must sweetheart, great sharing 😊
Omg yes!!! I had the bangs saved in a wishlist… now that I’ve crossed to the dark side imma go ahead and get them 😂
Your makeup is flawless here❤❤
Thank you!
Great video! Relaxer hair can also be healthy thank you for letting others know as well. Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas! ❤️
Very good video. I trust you, and I always check the ingredients. I do research on the item as well. My hair is fine with a whole lot of strands. It’s around your length. I do not like my hair natural mainly because I have 4C hair. Also, the wash days are really long for me with natural hair. Happy holidays!!!
Happy holidays! ❤️
Very good video!!! And girl you're so beautiful !
Thank you! ❤️
My hair is natural. 1 1/2hrs or less including drying. 3 or 4 products shampoo, conditioner and 1 or 2 gels, no refresh. I don’t miss my hair relaxed. My natural hair works for my lifestyle, no worries about sweat or rain. My hair has movement and last at least 7 days with 4days of workouts.
I love love love this hairstyle in you, happy holidays beautiful ❤
Thank you! Happy holidays to you too ❤️
Thank you ❤
I don’t have relaxed hair but I have been thinking a lot about it recently. I’m really close to getting it done but what has given me pause has been the studies that show a link between relaxers and uterine cancer/fibroids.
Understandable. It’s something everyone should consider but ultimately do what makes you feel comfortable
Your hair looks beautiful.
Thank you!
Love your bangs! Where did you get them? I am a straight natural bc it is so easy for me. Your hair looks great.

Nice video 💗
Thank you ❤️
I was a natural hair girlie for almost 7 years and ended up relaxing my hair in November (professionally). I Love it! However, I didn't relax my hair bone straight, I've noticed that my hair is shedding a lot more than I would like it to. So I'm guessing that I can't leave that much texture and maybe I'm going to have to do a corrective relaxer.
I have a bit of texture still too. I think if it’s all over it’s fine but it sounds like you have a lot and it’s under processed leaving lines of demarcation with would cause breakage.
❤❤❤❤ Merry Christmas 🎄
Happy holidays! ❤️
I used to be relaxed until I discovered keratin treatments, but still take care of it as if I was relaxed. love your videos! 💖
I’ve always been interested in keratin treatments! Are there any big differences you notice?
@@NiaraAlexis Girl yesssss 😍 it protects your hair from UV rays, pollution, and COMPETELY cuts the frizz. My hair lays so flat and flows like Pocahontas lol I used to be addicted to the creamy crack but this stuff has my heart now for sure
Where can I get keratin treatments I dont wanna relax my hair
@@carolkams9389 the one I use is from the line keratin research and it’s called inverto one. I buy it off Amazon and do myself at home, way better results than relaxing
I've thought about relaxing my hair. I've never deyed my hair because I've always preferred my hair dark which it is naturally. my hair is very sensitive so Im scared of doing anything to it
A professional would be your best bet for a consultation
Do you think it’s safe to put color wax in relaxed hair?
It’s not permanent and it washes out easily.
Great video, btw!
Yeah I think wax color is fine as long as there is t any bleach involved which I don’t think there is but check the ingredients to be sure
Do you use a heat protectant ?
Yes a hair oil before flatiron
Do you think it's okay for me to dye my hair black if it's relaxed? No bleaching involved just black dye??
I found you yesterday and I absolutely LOVE your videos btw!
Thank you! ❤️ if you’re doing it yourself I’d just do a rinse instead of dye
@@NiaraAlexis Got youu! Thank you ❤
Another pro is less products are needed for relaxed hair.
I absolutely love my relaxed hair and will never ever go natural! I just don't have the time. I do wear protective styles for several months out of the year but as soon as I'm done with that, I relax! Natural hair is really pretty but due to my very hectic schedule, I can't spend the time on it.
I get it! I’m the same way. Whatever works for you & keeps your hair hair manageable and healthy is what i think ppl should do. I do love my break I’m the summer time though when I can wear braids & twists though 😩
