Hair is dead and what puts it apart from hydrolyzed proteins, amino acids, or fatty acids that can fill in damage in the hair follicle?* It's like limited clinical trials or biased research papers. A LOT of dumb or pointless things get patented to the point that professionals make fun of it. I think it was only included to make Cécred seem more authentic, scientific, worth the price, and less celebrity cash-graby. This isn't to comment on the full intention behind the brand or the actual products effectiveness AT ALL, but come on - keratin/honey lactobacillus ferment? 😅
@@kimnoir well, I don’t know about all that but CÉCRED did wonders for my niece’s hair. It was damaged, 3 months of use, her hair is restored, breakage almost non existent. Hair is shinier and darker. My hair too, I’ve noticed significant drop in breakage as well.

Again, I'm not commenting on how effective the product is, but how this special ingredient probably isn't as special as advertised. Cationic conditioners like behentrimonium chloride, stearamidopropyl dimethylamine, cetrimonium chloride, dicetyldimonium chloride, distearyldimonium chloride etc can soften hair and reduce breakage. Proteins like silk amino acids, hydrolyzed keratin protein, hydrolyzed wheat protein, hydrolyzed quinoa protein, etc can also repair hair and reduce breakage. Cationic polyquats, silicones, oils, and fatty alcohols can also help as well while not being 'special'. I think your solution was finding products that work for you (and I'm glad that you guys love Cécred) rather than using keratin/honey lactobacillus ferment in particular.

I was stating that it's not something that can be 'healed' like the scalp or facial skin because they're very different (dead vs. alive, and a big emphasis on etc). Not all damage to the hair follice is repairable, like the breaking of disulfide bonds (although things like Olaplex and K18 *might* just be able to do that) or split ends - however, they can be mended with cationic compounds, lipids, and hydrolyzed proteins.
Cecred changed my hair. I relax my hair twice a year and I had a ton of breakage. I use the cecred shampoo, repair mask, and finishing oil in that order and my hair looks and feels like butter. I've combined that with the mielle rice water hydrating lotion and moisturize masks... ugh! Love it. My hair had literally grown from a bob to past my shoulders in 3 months.
Yes my hair was bra-strap length, it’s now 3 inches from my waist. My hair is thriving with Cécred. I do love Fenty hair bond treatment and The Rich One Conditoner.

Cecred's scalp scrub saved my scalp from dandruff! I suffered from flaky scalp and buildup literally since childhood. Got even worse when I got locs. But I'm not lying when I say my scalp has been just fine since switching to Cecred. Definitely worth the money!

The packaging and texture design are for when you are in the shower. This way if have soap in your eyes it’s easy to spot what you’re looking for either by color or texture of the top. I plan on purchasing from both and Pattern as well. Only because I believe in spending my money with my people. Since I don’t whine about giving coins to others imma buy black to support these Sistas

But it is not the same. From what i understand, it basically is a term used to describe a combination of 5 different ingredients. So in short, Fenty used a combination of 5 known ingredients to nourish the hair and decided to call the combination replenicore-5. While cecred created a unique technology. Kinda like how olaplex and k18 created their own unique patented technology. If fenty had used a combination of 3 ingredients instead of 5, they probably would have called it replenicore-3. If that makes sense?

I haven’t tried Fenty yet but used Cecred this weekend on my wash and go and I ended up having to redo my hair the next day because when I slept on it even with a bonnet my hair was super frizzy the next day. I needed a gel for my hair and Cecred doesn’t have a gel. It did make my hair soft and shiny but my hair needs a little more to keep my wash and go looking good

I was so excited to try FENTY so much so that i bought it during the pre-launch sale and when I received my order I was so disappointed. The products are not moisturizing enough the curl cream doesn’t mix with any gels at all to give it hold and longevity. I am really considering giving away the FENTY hair products I purchased because I don’t think they will provide long term hair benefits.

Thanks for the review! I was thinking about buying RiRi's shampoo because it's on sale, but I'm hearing good things about Cecred.
@awwwsnap4437 I have both lines and cecred is so much better than FENTY hair. My hair absolutely loves cecred and I can’t stop using it. I was so excited to try FENTY so much so that i bought it during the pre-launch sale and when I received my order I was so disappointed. The products are not moisturizing enough the curl cream doesn’t mix with any gels at all to give it hold and longevity. I am really considering giving away the FENTY hair products I purchased because I don’t think they will provide long term hair benefits.

She could be the nicest person in the world but her vibe is just off. I respect authenticity and the fact that she's knowledgeable so I stay but yea..she's not the warmest or the fuzziest 😅
The impression you get is that she is genuinely being herself and not pretending to have a bubbly and overly cheerful persona just for the camera. I personally find her approach and tone highly relatable to the average person. It's possible to be warm and engaging without constantly smiling in every video. She even mentioned not wanting to make this video, so it's best to watch more before forming opinions solely based on one video.

Beyonce has spoken about her hair journey for years. Tina was a stylist with her own shop, so I’m sure she knows about proper hair care. Beyoncé spoke about how she had damage from color and straightening, so she created this line to help others with that same issue. Rihanna has no haircare background and just launched her hair line to add to her beauty line up.
Rihanna’s patent was out 2 years before Beyoncé’s. And you don’t know what Rihanna’s knows about hair. Beyoncé mom was a hairdresser so that don’t mean that Beyonce’ knows anything about hair. Most people either know hair or they don’t and they don’t have to be hairdressers

Beyonce has worked with scientists and Cered has patented scientific research for their Keratin products.
Rhianna has never mentioned knowing anything about hair in the past. Beyonce has and she has a haircare background. Rihanna having a patent is irrelevant. She just created this line to add to her beauty empire.
