I worked inside the Beltway for a decade and during that time had a TS-SCI clearance for cybersecurity issues. I had a lot of professional and social acquaintances in various other departments and branches, and one thing you need to understand is that individuals with various clearances will talk vaguely, generally and parenthetically about something they should not talk about, but when it comes to actual facts and data, they draw the line, because that is disclosing specific classified information, and if you have a clearance you take that very seriously. Consider also that Grusch was not read in on any of these programs, he was following leads and interviewing individuals...and time after time hitting the wall of what they were willing to disclose. So it stands to reason that his information lacks specificity, and so too his discussion of what he knows. Also, he is using "briefed" very generally, as military officers often do. His briefs may have not been official interviews but rather just discussions. So all this is to say that I think reading his body language is particularly difficult in this case because he has basically synthesized a conclusion based on his work and however many discussions he has had, but the hard facts were withheld from him. And he himself needs to skirt whatever classified information he does have, however it was obtained. One section of the interview that illustrates this is his mention of heavy isotopes in retrieved materials. Gary Nolan, a Stanford pathology professor, has examined these materials and is free to talk about them, and does. He calls them bewildering, because no one on earth would go to the considerable expense of creating them when they serve no known materials science or engineering purpose, but he does not consider them conclusive proof of anything. Grusch appears to be using them as an example...because the information is unclassified...but departing from Nolan's conclusion and apparently weaving it together with other information he has acquired and saying "It's definite proof." Personally I find the man and the fact he has come forward to be fascinating, and will follow this closely going forward. I can't for the life of me understand what he would have to gain from fabricating all this, and clearly he has lost a lot in the process. I believe that a lot of sources who he trusts have confirmed the existence of what he discusses to the point where he has concluded all the information he has gathered is true. But he has no proof. What a difficult and anxiety provoking position that must be for him.

Excellent insight! I too held TS/SCI clearance and served for almost a decade in the military. One thing not taken into consideration is the fact that this "whistle-blower" is doing something that completely contradicts everything he had always stood for. By speaking about classified information regarding the most important revelation in the history of man kind, he would absolutely be nervous, conflicted and out of his comfort zone. Establishing a base line for someone who is speaking about a topic so extraordinary, with all of the world watching is entirely foreign to him. This guy is probably freaking out just violating his oath and the brotherhood he admits to value since a child. I think he is just validating what many in this country already know. Yes the government keeps this topic secret and it would go to great lengths to do so for obvious reasons. The secrecy is not to prevent us from knowing that in an infinite number of planets there is life and we are not alone, as any reason person would conclude, but to keep AMERICA on the top of the food chain. Any technology that would allow another country or even group of extremists to violate US airspace and fly wherever, whenever would be a serious problem. Imagine this technology falling into the wrong hands. I would hope the government would take necessary measures to ensure faster than light interplanetary travel doesn't become available to let's sat North Korea, or Iran. The idea that we are planning some false flag invasion or that men and women in the military are hiding something to keep us oppressed is absurd. As far as thinking this man is lying because he parts his lips or moves his eyebrows a certain way is comical.

There is a difference between whistleblowing and sharing classified info. The latter is a felony and can get you charged with treason. He is sharing the info that SHOULD have been shared with congress but has not been. That part, he cannot be charged for and he is protected by the whistleblower laws.

Which means he can embellish, exaggerate and appear more important than the guys(pilots) who have actually seen/interacted w/UAPs. A government plant, like Greer, Lazar, maybe w/the intentional purpose of reinforcing the veracity of the other witnesses, but actually making the pilots seem unimportant and unreliable. "Multiple spaceships in hangars, collected and re-engineered their propulsion/DNA; we have their tech"- it's almost guaranteed to be false. One-time shoot down in NM, caught unawares/malfunction, a shoot down nevertheless, w/a.i. That's it.
UK Rendlesham Forest, their military felt no need to blow them/it up, that's assuming their commander was smart enough to recognize there could be "repercussions" !?? Think what these gov't plants are saying: they are harmless, they shared their advanced tech, and no fighting back, or defense response? Right! As if they didn't witness what's happening in Ukraine, or Afghanistan, Syria, WW2, Vietnam, etc.; know our species well enough, BUT not have not just super avoidance tech, but enough power in their "engines" to vaporize anything we can throw at them, including nukes? An advanced civilization, more civilized than anything down here, because they have evolved to the same point their tech has, and PEACEFUL, generous and sympathetic but only to the Great One, the USA! - just as sappy, illogical Carl Sagan and his wife predicted! Yah, RIGHT again!

The confusion about what he's allowed to talk about stems from the whistleblower law he is using. It allows him to say things about UAP, but not disclose other classified material. He interview was approved and vetted. All this occurred because he was blowing the wistle and the Pentagon stopped him. So he applied for the whistleblower protection that was set up just a few months ago (because there's a line of whistleblowers waiting to not get arrested for saying what they want to say.)

I guess we will be able to tell more once the Senate and House get more information and documents. There is another group of 4 men who do facial analysis etc. on youtube and one of them said the same thing ......he is saying what he was told to say. He might not be lying but he often acts like he is lying because he withheld the fact that he and the defense department are "in" on it. That was one guy's take on it and I tend to lean in that direction because I feel he acts odd.

So even if they showed him, that’s as far as it gets. The people he talked to probably would only get to do so much on one project before needing to move on. This way, in the event of a capture of something, they can’t give away too many secrets or enough information to be damning at least

Yanno how they said as they approached their instruments got scrambled? They said it like the aliens did it to them on purpose. But, that doesn't make sense to me because they're in a Flippin CUBE inside of a clear SPHERE and its floating with no visible propulsion.... I mean... I'm no scientist but, it seems that the only logic way they could be flying is if they have a way to use the electricity or molecules or whatever, in the air around them, or they have an energy emitting gizmo on the ship that radiates around it. Again, not a scientist so ... my terminology is lacking... but, I'm imagine it works kind of like a Theramin instrument. That thing you don't need to touch but you put your hand near it and it makes sound. There's a field around it, and when your body comes close to it, you're like interfering with that energy radiating off it.

He may not of felt so globally before as he talks about American this and that but when the interviewer gave him a larger picture it probably warmed his heart with a sense that he doesn't just belong to America as a hero but to the world as someone that united everyone. In his mind this is probably the best thing in the world as he gives that sense of belonging to all when we all band together as humanity.

And also that he suffered retaliation when he tried to dig into these programs).
According to Marco Rubio & Mike Gallagher, individuals who claimed they were part of reverse engineering programs have spoken to Congress behind-closed-doors, and my guess is that some of those same people were involved in the vetting of the whistleblower complaint.

"Why draw the line?" It's definitely consistent with my outside-looking-in experience as a military spouse. The military has a culture of hyper-compartmentalization (you only get info on a "need-to-know" basis) and that's protocol in every branch, every office. Officers have bits and pieces of information, but only the top brass has all the info--because only the top brass has the clearance to discuss, interpret, and make a decision on all the info. And, they are all conditioned to not ask questions unless they are clear that it's an area where they need to know the answer. So those without top clearance are left to sit and wonder, but they don't do that for long. They move on to focus on their job. It's a deliberate cultural structure to prevent too much thinking/assuming lower down the rungs so that orders are followed without question. That, of course, is a safety protocol for battle/field training. If you start commiserating with your higher-ups, you might get ideas that you have enough info to make a decision and a bad, ill-informed decision could very well cost lives. Hierarchy and compartmentalization are everything in military culture.

I believe that he is telling the truth based on his understanding. The one theme that hasn't been mentioned is that not one person on earth is perfect. He could take all the conclusive evidence he has heard/believes to be true, seen documents that aligns with his beliefs, be completely truthful, and still be wrong. His sense of wanting to belong has interfered with his ability to unbiasly determine fact from fiction. While he may feel that he's doing the right thing, whether it's true or not is a completely different issue. If there was an intelligent organization trying to hide something, they would make sure to cover all areas of issue. However, humans aren't perfect and until a mistake is made, we must go by the facts. His testimony makes a lot of assumptions without evidence, and because he has been deemed honest in his position, people are looking into it. But that does not make it true. Psychology and the fact that humans are not perfect leads me to personally conclude that what he is saying is not credible, but possible. I don't think much is going to come from this issue, because even if what he's saying IS true, it would NEVER be allowed to become public knowledge for security issues, because intelligent people know that humans aren't perfect. A lack of evidence creates speculation. And correlation between speculation and fact can be a very dangerous thing...

In 2012 I took my 3 kids on a cross country trip. My oldest daughter was 17, my middle son was 13, my youngest was 9. While driving through a very dark area in Texas I saw a few miles in front of me an object that was very bright. My son was sitting next to me and my daughters were in the back seat, sleeping. I looked over to my son and I asked if he could see what I was seeing. He shook his head yes. As we got closer, we saw what appeared to be a metal hexagonal structure. I woke my 17 year old and all 3 of us could see it. So definitely not my imagination. It didn’t have cables, or anything holding it up about 100 feet over the road. We drove directly under it. No sound at all, but it moved my dodge 1500 truck around like we were in the strongest wind I had ever driven in. I had floored it by then, just to get away as fast as I could.
About a year or so ago I told a relative that I am pretty close to, and have known their whole life, who works with top secret agencies about this. They told me I am not crazy, and we (the public) would be given information about this stuff within the next year. Low an behold stuff like this keeps coming out. I also used to babysit for a friend who works as an aerospace engineer who builds drones. He knows things like how fast vessels can move. About 3 years ago while we were talking in my front yard at night he spotted an aircraft flying overhead and it was defying our laws of physics. When I say that man was dead certain that this aircraft was not ours, I mean it.
I believe they have been here this whole time. Maybe they are the reasons why the pyramids were able to be made? Maybe they decided to go into hiding because they are conducting an experiment on us? 😂 Also, I definitely believe we have some of their vessels and we are reverse engineering their technology. We went from having computers the size of buildings, to having computers in the palm of our hands WAY TO FAST! I know it sounds crazy, but how can we have technology like the James Webb telescope that can literally see into the past, but we have genetic diseases and cancers that we can’t cure? personally I don't believe there is only one alien community in or that they're in hiding..even before I met a retired military man who worked on related classified projects.
you've misunderstood that telescope: when we look up at the stars, we're literally, looking into the past. because by the time the star light reaches our eyes/perception that light is showing us past information about it's projection.
the newer telescopes have improved technology that allows us to see the light more clearly, more frequencies of light + stars & other celestial bodies that are further away.
      just note that:
telescope & other images are often mosaics pasted together so we can see larger regions all at once.
also, depending on the kinds of images - esp. like planets & moons - often we're only being shown computer graphic renderings vs. actual photos [which I think is so not ok]. as imho, makes it seem NASA/the govt is hiding a lot.
in any case, that has bothered me for a very long time..and at one time I met someone who had that job, converting actual photographs into CGI images..when I asked him why we can't see the real photos, like the surfaces of moons/planets or why the photos [like re: Mars] are filtered a sepia color [China does the same with their captured moon images] he obfuscated, giving me a very non-detailed answer, which was very frustrating.
and the images of starry night skies are usually filtered so we can see differences re: the various stars..so when we see a lot of different colors, that's because the photos are processed in such a way that information the computers are receiving can be differentiated more readily.
its a way of translating the received information about them. although I do wonder how much of that us for the astronomers' sake and how much is re: aesthetics for the sake of the public.
esp re: posters & photographs that are for sale since even commercial astrophotographers do a similar thing with all those gorgeous photos they have for sale.

For example the question 'We are not alone?' and he states the information he has says we are definitely not alone. Ok, but thats been accepted for decades now. Nearly every scientist agrees that considering the size of the universe there must be other species out there.
Another question he is asked is 'Have you seen spacecraft?' and his answer is he has read reports and seen pictures .... well, hell, haven't we all?! UFO's have been around forever, we have all, at some time or another, read accounts of people seeing them, seen video and pictures of supposed UFO's. He didn't say he has seen them with his own eyes, he obfuscated.

Not entirely true on the first part. Anyone who says we’re not alone just based off the size of the universe alone is thinking about the entire picture. The truest answer is “we don’t know”. We don’t know how big or small the chances of life forming are. So we could just as likely be the only life in the entire universe. It’s not as fun of an idea, but we just simply don’t know enough to say we’re not alone JUST because the universe is vast

As for the question is there intelligent life out there, yes, the discussion continues, but the more time the passes the more confident scientists are that we can't possibly be the only intelligent life in the entire universe. It's mathematically impossible. Now is this the same as actually seeing an alien with our own eyes, no, of course not, but then we know a lot of things actually exist and you can't see them with the naked eye. I guess until its 100% disproved then I'll keep believing in them, however as they say its impossible to prove a negative, they can't prove that no life exists :)

    • @markjacobson4248
      @markjacobson4248 Год назад +4

@@GlRTHBR00KSYes but also no. The real thought process is "The probability life, and specifically species with capabilities like our own arising in the universe within the amout of time since the big bang can't be 0 or we wouldn't exist. We are already at a point where we could potentially detect evidence of ourselves, so it seems odd that we haven't seen any yet." Effectively this puts an upper and lower bound on the probability of life arising and developing into us. Then there's more bounds you can come to by looking at other lines of evidence. The evidence shows that life as we know it arose on Earth within a relatively short time from when life as we know it was possible of arising on Earth, suggesting that Life as we know it arising on a planet that can support it isn't a tremendously improbable event. Evidence shows that there are many planets within this galaxy alone that seem to be capable of supporting life as we know it, should it arise upon them.
All together, statistically it's incredibly unlikely that Earth is the only planet with some form of life on it. Where the lack of knowledge comes in to play is that we can't tell how likely it is that any of those develop into a species similar to us, that would produce evidence of their existance that can be observed from afar like we do.

Spidey, you are right in that this does not have a normal whistleblower feel to it because it’s not. If you delve further into what occurred, you will learn that when Grusch learned of these things-saw compelling photos and evidence that he felt was being illegally and unethically kept from Congress and the public about secret government retrieval programs-he did not intend to be a whistleblower himself. Instead, what he did was this: in 2021 he gave all this evidence to the ICIG (Intelligence Community, Inspector General) office-people with the necessary security clearances above him, and he expected and relied upon these authorities to handle the situation properly. What happened, however, was a nightmare for him, because his name was leaked (?) to people who didn’t necessarily have security clearances and other government agencies and even private contractors who began a retaliation campaign against him for the next year. So in 2022, David retained an attorney, Irvin Charles McCullough, III, a former U.S. Inspector General himself, who sent a document-a whistleblower complaint-to Avril Haynes, head of the Department of National Intelligence (DNI), outlining the reprisals and retaliations that he had been subjected to after the information he gave the ICIG. He stated these reprisals included his impugned character, judgment, professionalism and mental health and he stated that his access to IC (Intelligence Community) elements had been cancelled, denied, delayed and improperly obstructed (in other words, he could no longer do his beloved job because of what he had told the Inspector General).
In December, 2022, President Biden signed into law a protection for whistleblowers of government agencies, so Grusch left his beloved job with the newly formed AARO agency (to investigate UAPs) and testified UNDER OATH for 11 hours before Congress-showing them hundreds of pages of documents and photos as evidence about what he knew about secret agencies involved in retrieval of alien craft and pilots-and he gave the Ross Coulthart television interview you are analyzing, and he gave the reporters Ralph Blumenthal and Leslie Kean all the information that they reported on in The Debrief article that was published about the retrieval program.
You, Spidey, and other skeptical people-who are criticizing Grusch by saying he did not give first hand evidence of what he has disclosed about the secret retrieval program our country has hidden from Congress and the American people-evidently do not understand that he could NOT disclose classified information in his television interview because he did something ETHICAL that most whistleblowers would not do. Grusch is a patriot and he follows rules, and even though he discovered things he strongly believed that was information that was being unethically and and illegally withheld from Congress and the American people and that he was doing the correct thing by making that information known, he nevertheless first went to the DOD (Department of Defense) and garnered their approval of what he COULD disclose (unclassified information) before his television interview. And because he only spoke about what the DOD approved he could speak about, people are now accusing him of not giving conclusive evidence and therefore saying he is not believable, without considering all the evidence he gave previously gave Congress UNDER OATH. And people are not taking into consideration all the evidence that other high-ranking officials have now also testified about in front of Congress because of David Grusch’s testimony, and the fact that so many of these high-ranking officials have also testified to the veracity of Grusch’s testimony and his character.
Grusch withheld talking about classified information in a television interview because he remains a patriot. Sadly, because of that, people are dismissing the importance of what he has said.

I freely admit that I want to believe and I hope this leads to undeniable proof being made public in the near future. I think the biggest factor that’s making me lean towards believing Grusch is the fact that he’s moved beyond just doing interviews with the media. This is a great video. I haven't finished it yet. I'm at the point where discussing the word "nuclear" and I wanted to address a couple things about his "science" talk and that word.
I served in the Marine Corps, Army, and was a Computer Engineer for NASA. So I have a pretty solid background on the fundamentals of what this guy is talking about.
First off I want to talk about "nuclear". I personally pronounced all my life until recently (about the age of 31ish) "nook-u-ler", because when I was 10 years old that's how President George Bush said it addressing the nation in 2001 and the terrorist attacks. This messed me up for 2 decades and I only broke the habit because my wife made fun of me every time I said it (being in the engineering field, I use the word frequently enough for it to be a thing). It is indeed pronounced "new-clear", and there is nothing special about the other way except for ignorance.
Secondly, his use of scientific terms and numbers. When it comes to the reports, he might not know the specific number. He is probably getting a lot of different numbers from different cases with different security clearances and with different "need-to-knows". What the general public doesn't understand about security clearances is that just because you are a Colonel who runs an infantry battalion, doesn't mean you get to know about a space alien project. You fight wars, you don't do research. Even if you were qualified to have an opinion because you might have a science degree, you still don't have a need-to-know because that's not your job and you're not up to speed on what's happening. You would be completely lost if you started having opinions in that field, and that's how misinformation starts... people talking out their asses about things they don't know or understand.
And that goes on to how he's describing "heavy metals" and "isotopes". What he's doing with those words is a general description. Even in the scientific community this is how you work describe them. You wouldn't know them all off the top of your head, you would have to reference the periodic table. Even if he did have an exhaustive list of elements, it would be hard to remember them.
And when he starts talking about the possibilities of what could be happening with the nuclear weapons and either different countries or aliens conducting research, this is actually main stream science right now. He's not really pulling this out of his ass. War is unconventional now. It's all cyber and happening within governments. You don't win wars by killing. You win wars by disrupting communications.
And he sounds "crazy" talking about other dimensions and quantum mechanics, but that's current and mainstream science now. It's been scientifically proven for over a decade now and is being taught in universities. We're even learning that a lot of our classical mechanics are actually wrong. Textbooks are being rewritten because of what we've learned through quantum mechanics. The reasons we thought things were happening are actually happening for other reasons. We've just been fortunate enough that they are so close to the truth that they work.
To really understand what this guy is saying would take 4 semesters in the physics field. It's not that anyone is too stupid to understand (the lower level concepts we all learned in elementary school), it's just that you can't jump from addition and subtraction into algebra before learning multiplication and division. Same thing happening here. He can't really describe it in any more layman's terms, these are their own exclusive things, and they are the things that keep scientists up at night.

Being a whistleblower can also mean to be cautious, in the sense that you are relaying information, but also trying to not go to prison for revealing specific, classified information. He can speak abstractly about things, without revealing concrete evidence about people, methods and other aspects that would mean he is breaking a law. Because then they could prosecute him, as seen with Chelsea Manning, Snowden, Daniel Ellsberg etc.

I don't think this is accurate, if they indeed were hiding stuff about aliens and they knew he knew about confidential stuff he would be arrested before he can talk about it to anyone or someone forcefully gets the info out of him.. Even if snowden didn't give all the evidence to journalists he would still have been in trouble just for talking about how the NSA collected all that data about everyone. Just saying you know confidential stuff would get you arrested and interrogated until you say who told you the information. I guess it's a bit different with aliens because it's easy to just say he's crazy but if they thought he could actually prove what he is saying and that would include confidential stuff he wouldn't be allowed to do this..

I just don't buy it. Second, because I don't think this type of personality would do that, I wonder if what he's doing right now--- that is, coming out as a "whistleblower"--- is not actually fulfilling his need to belong because the organization that he belongs to has ASKED HIM TO COME OUT AS A WHISTLEBLOWER. What I mean by this is that I think that it is POSSIBLE that he HASN'T ceased belonging by taking this step---- but rather that this whole scenario is being orchestrated by the organization that he ALREADY BELONGS TO. Surely an actual investigator would need all the known information so that he knows what to look for and how to evaluate any potential clues he comes across. It's like sending out a police detective to find a murderer but not giving them the witness descriptions or the make of their car.
I'm leaning towards this being a deliberate leak where he has been at least semi-duped. He has been shown some manufactured information which he believes is factual and that makes his telling of the tale more believable, because he believes it.

Agreed. First time I saw the interview I thought, "Hello, this doesn't have the feel of someone concerned and worried about what they have just done".
I thought at first maybe it was due to this being the second interview. Ross Couthart did two with Grush. Both are about six hours long. And the one that aired is the second one. So effectively Grush is practised and rehearsed by then.
But there would still be concern and sincerity. Given his background and how he delivered this interview, it has all the hallmarks of an assignment.

In my profession (a mediator) I have to use body language and other cues to discern truth from fiction, uncover hidden motives/agendas, etc. This is why I love conspiracy theory stuff so much because it causes one to test what is real and what isn't. I love your channel for a similar reason as it grows my skill set and lets me test my skills with your own. This is why I wish you'd collaborate one day with The Why Files channel since they show a host of interviews as evidence to consider. With UFO/UAP studies and conspiracy theories, a number of papers have came out stating their USAF uses "compartmentalization" to draw lines between what one group knows and what another similar group doesn't. The USAF also has a term called "time compression" where they get caught in a lie from one report by making a follow-up report that involves explanations as facts, yet the topic (operation name) may have been 10, 20, or more years after the event happened and thus was a lie to explain away another lie. In other words, the 1990s era propaganda writers failed to check facts, so using a 1950s era operation to explain away a 1940s era event would be an issue of "time compression." A number of alleged CIA and USAF operatives have also "come out" stating their mission was to infiltrate UFO conferences, gain the trust of leaders in the community, and spread approved disinformation to the point truth from fiction cannot be discerned. If one is to believe the USAF is involved in UFO/UAP disinformation, this video could be used as anecdotal evidence pointing to the validity of such a program. After all, you said it yourself, what whistle is he blowing? What classified data is he really leaking? Why is he drawing lines, and who is drawing those lines?
