As a psych nurse I’ve seen a few patients acting similarly with different delusions than him. I think it’s a form of schizophrenia with grandiose disorder, and sadly rather than providing people with actual help (because some of these mental breaks are psychological with a ton of ability to be treated non pharmaceutically) at the hospitals they just throw drug cocktails at these dear patients.
You are absolutely correct. I am a psych nurse also and these docs get paid to use these meds from the pharmaceutical cos.
So sad. It seems this approach is a result of Big Pharma's over influence in our medical industry, but don't you think the Medical Profession has a responsibility to use a non-drug treatment approach first before placing patients on a course of medicine?

Psychologists fall into the same category for me as message therapists. Both can help and completely cure someone without the need of using drugs. Mad respect to you.
He’s an adult. If he doesn’t want to get a job and contribute he can move out and find his own way. I had to give my 21 year old a little taste of that. He left and saw how hard it was for him alone. He got a job and asked to come home for a while. He paid rent though not a lot so he could save for his own place. He’s getting ready to buy a house. We’re watching the market and I’m helping him as much as I can. He doesn’t know yet that I’ll be matching his down payment. Sometimes all it takes is a little tough love.

And he got almost defensive when his mother said "What they go to college comes out and does this"
And he responded at least they get to go to college. He found out life sux after college, he is afraid to leave home , he was most likely pampered parents being a friend not a parent, and now it's come back to haunt her.
Howie Mandel has an online channel and interviews John Edward a supposed psychic who talks with the other side. I think it would be very interesting if you and your friend Chase Hughes did an analysis on it.
You’re talking about how the mom laughs with a bit of exaggeration at Dr. Phil’s joke being desperate and that she keeps looking back and forth looking for a reaction from her son. She looks to her son with a smile on her face, but she is definitely searching. Unfortunately, her son hasn’t displayed the reaction she was hoping for, and, as she redirects her attention toward Dr. Phil, there is a brief moment where her mouth turns into a sadness, down turned, gesture that looks crestfallen. Then, as she lands her attention back on Dr. Phil, her smile returns. I feel heartache from and for her.💔
This is such a terrific catch and you’re dead on. It’s like she tried desperately to make him be human for a second then as the familiar failure sets in we see it for a brief second. Great job 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻

Perfectly understandable. Many of us on this plane seem to have abnormal difficulty dealing with what it means or what it is like being a human. I never understood 'war' where humans actually get together and train to intentionally kill other humans. It took me quite a few years to get some kind of understanding as to how one human can, for seemingly no practical reason, go out and kill other humans. It just didn't compute for me. I mean barbaric animals didn't do that and their level of thinking is so much lower than humans. Just casually thinking about it, all of us are different and some of our differences are quite unimaginable. The very thought of this dude thinking and doing his weird thing should naturally concern any parent.

This guy just dropped a new music video two weeks ago, that’s actually pretty good, I was shocked. That business degree he has is the most foresightful thing in this interview. He was going for clout and exposure. He may have been masterminded by dr Phil and company. (That was impressive by all 3 by the way.) but this guy getting to that chair, was masterful in his own right. Wild stuff. Great video.

Seeing this man's mom in a desperate place like this reminds me of my own mom when I was just recently going through my own personal battles. She adores him and I appreciate the audience's maturity through their ordeal.
Orrin says, "....does not everyone believe they have some special talent or hidden recognition to get them through the day...." "to get them through the day" seems like a powerful reflection of the pain he may be feeling. He is not thriving at this point, he is saying he is just trying to survive. If you're not really functioning in a way that is meaningful to you, this thought process, must be a help. I'm glad to see that he is actually doing something with his music and social media currently...if it helps him meet his daily needs and responsibilities, as well as meet his need for significance, that would be more functional.

I feel when he agreed about taking away the bad parts while keeping the message was telling. He feels just being him isn't enough. No one will listen to him if he's just Orrin. I think his biggest flaw was when Dr. Phil asked about the possibility if he is delusional.. His response was very defensive, like he took it personally, but the cyborg wouldn't interpret it as a offense or personal attack, but rather just answer purely rationally.. The fact he changed his answer means he still operates on an emotional basis (he though the question was if HE is delusional - very personally/subjective, even though question was about the POSSIBILITY - very general/objective).. He changed his answer after Dr. Phil rephrased the question, though I think robot would probably understand the first question in exact same way as the second one (detached from any emotion), thus the answer would be the same..

That "golden bridge" is spot on. In teaching people effective conflict resolution in customer service, I always say "give their pride an easy way out". Once an angry patron realizes they are wrong, (or won't get their way) they will only double down and/or escalate unless they have an escape route that lets them keep their pride intact.
That is frustrating but true. Great advice.
Sadly this is true but I have very little patience with it. I think we as a society have a VERY big issue with manipulative behavior and dishonesty as well pride and arrogance. No one is perfect and everyone makes mistakes yet people act as if this isn't the case for them much of the time in fact I am dealing with customers like this right now. There really are not any "easy outs" without it being costly to yourself in many cases...this is a problem.

Give them a chance to stop it all without them losing face or looking stupid. I guess that could be building that golden bridge.
Even in war situations this implies. I wish the world would come up with some really ”important saviour role” for Putin; anything that would make him keep his dignity and not lose face (with russians this not lose face thing is even stronger. Ok here’s the truth. He was emotionally traumatized and stuck in adolescence. The pressure from his mother to be more emotionally mature cracked his psyche and to cope, he created this persona to deal with reality. Ask about the father and when he left and how that affected him. He’s now a super hero, his own savior. Kid needs therapy and fast.
His mother is very controlling and he more than likely is a spitting image of his father which I’m sure triggers his mom to deal harshly.

Interesting insights and background regarding everything including the yellow brick road leading up to Dr. Phil's set. I miss his regular program. As a dog lover, I enjoyed the dog jumping on Chase's couch. It mirrors acknowledging our 'humaness'. Great Behavioral observations and analytical insights. Curious about the choice of poster in the background.
I wonder if the possible dissociative behavior may have been triggered during college. College is a pretty traumatic experience for a lot of people, especially if they have left home for the first time. Perhaps the idea that he was raised with his mother’s fears that includes public shaming plays into that. Was he perceived as weird? Maybe a group of people laughed at one of his responses in class? Maybe a professor made some form of spectacle of him? Maybe he wanted to change majors to a science area and was forbidden. His use of vocabulary and sentence structure and strict, thought out timeline suggest that he is intelligent and most likely well educated prior to entering college (no, I don’t mean “formal” education). Maybe he’s a sci-fi nerd and he is resentful of being forced into a business major where he feels he isn’t allowed to be a future oriented thinker so killing off the old planet keeps him from being disappointed with his life path or going so far in life that his dreams are irretrievable? So many reasons he could possibly be communicating this way or going into a potentially diagnose dissociative state.
His use of “cyborg” and “collective” along with Armageddon makes me think he’s watched a lot of Star Trek. The Borg go around collecting handfuls of people from various cultures and civilizations to add to their own culture. The Borg call it “adding your uniqueness to our own.” Then they destroy the rest of the kidnapped’s civilization and hook the victims up to the hive’s-collective’s-integrated system. But, no real individuality doesn’t exist. They are not given names, there’s no actual individual thought, there’s no privacy, and noone is irreplaceable. Also, the Borg do (does? never have been completely certain how the word “we” is supposed to be used) have time travel capabilities.
So, he’s already put together a story that is supported by fiction. I think his effort to come across as unfeeling has already failed right with his first statements to Dr. Phil. It seems like his disdain probably comes from not being taken seriously at some point or points in the past. Also, nothing has been said about any father to this kid. Were he and his mom abandoned? Was his father something his mother vowed he would never become? Was the pressure and shame so much that he is now trying to embarrass his mother?
Again, so many possibilities…
I worked in a psych ward for years. It's definitely a form of DID and or schizophrenia. It usually appears between 18-25yo after trauma. Trauma even smaller things like going away to college. Very difficult to get them help because they don't believe they're wrong. It's practically illegal to force meds on anyone and requires many fights in court.
Thats everything wrong with our society. If college is traumatic, how do you expect to handle life. People need to raise their kids better.
@@FromRootsToRadicals Facts but with specifically schizophrenia, it's neurology, and lies dormant. It pops up around college age. I totally understand what you're saying. I would definitely apply that to all other issues other than true schizophrenia. You're right, if they can't leave Mom at 19 how they going to function in the real world?? I guess that's why they suddenly invented safe spaces 🤣🙈
And maybe they tried some drugs once too often too that, on top of everything else, tipped them over the edge!!
I've recently started to dig through my trauma in my early 30s. Between being neurodivergent and experiencing early, prolonged traumatic events and social isolation, I've felt my mind/emotions starting to split at times. It's terrifying.
I don't think I'm schizophrenic, but I feel like I could fall over that edge if I can't figure out how to manage those emotions. It hit suddenly once I felt safe, but more life hit once I felt safe, so it kind of piles on.
I could see how this could happen from prolonged stress or trauma and/or getting out of survival mode but being forced back into it. If children don't get to develop a decent sense of self, the resulting adults could be traumatized waaaay later on.
Not all kids are raised in a balanced way that exposes them to opportunities to fail and recover, and build self-confidence. I don't think it's simple. It's incredibly difficult.
I feel bad for the mother. She seems like a very nice person and would just like to have her family back but her son would rather play mental games to get attention.

This kid needed a dad. If I didn't behave at home dad would take a few days off work and keep an eye on me. It didn't happen often but I remember him telling me once he was taking the time off work, which meant he wasn't making any money, just to make sure we were broke and I didn't get the things I wanted him to buy me. He'd do his job if I did my job which was to be respectful, mind my mom and get good grades. When that happened he never missed a day of work.
@@bigslim4237 It definitely requires good parenting to raise a healthy child. I know it can be done with 1, 2 would be easier but either way each parent needs to be willing to put in the effort as often as possible.
Being a parent has opened my eyes to how few people actually spend time with their kids. There seems to be a lot of, entertain yourself while i socialize or party that happens.
I can see how kids go missing so easily as well and how easy it is for a parent too say, I only turned my head for a minute and then my child was gone. I’m sure that does happen but there’s a lot of parents that really look to see where their kids are when it’s time to leave.
Just 1 of many things I’ve noticed since becoming a parent 14 years ago.

Basically what this guy was doing was building a hype platform for his future musical endeavors. I don't even believe he was mentally ill. He was acting. When I was interested in acting in College I had to study a book called "Acting is Believing". Only these guys we have been watching can dissect what a person is really intent on trying to accomplish. Great video from true experts.

He also he comes across as very arrogant - chin in the air, etc. His mother seems too indulgent. I would kick him out to find a job. He has a business degree so what is he waiting for?

I think he exists in another reality because the one he was faced with was devoid of importance. Probably no present father, a mother working and preoccupied with two younger sisters and a computer and video games were his only friends. A whole lot of people have become like cyborgs with their tech obsession and programming hypnosis.

He's mentally ill. Probably Schizophrenia, my sister developed it at 17. I remember my mother expecting her to "act normal" and we all learned later, that she simply couldn't. Bless his heart.
I agree 100%. Sadly schizophrenia runs in the males in my family. They will have grandiose delusions. They can reach a level of function and even think clearly at points. If he is getting treatment now, prehaps medication, then that would explain the improvement. But in the case of the men in my family being a prophet, or important in having done secret missions, or both, were their delusions of grandeur. I firmly believe that he has some sort of schizo disorder. Just resembles what I've personally seen. Love the analysis but unless you're really familiar with such illnesses it could be mistaken as someone just looking for attention.

Great video! When I was a child, I always had this little phobia that my mom was going to drag my dirty laundry on an episode of Dr. Phill or the Montell Williams show. She still might call Dr. Laura. Lol
That kid is just at a loss what he wants to do with his life (college degree notwithstanding), and whereas some might develop suicidal ideation, he has decided to pretend to be a cyborg. Hats off to him, it's better than the other.
I think he is only directly rebelling against a job, he knows exactly what he is doing from a marketing point of view and has an underlying motive to tick the box his mum wants from him. His change happened during a time he was studying business. He has promoted his music successfully by becoming controversial enough to market his work on several high profile platforms. It’s unorthodox marketing which he has successfully used to get people to listen to his music and follow a belief system linked to this music

As a kid I loved to pretend. In retrospect a little to much. I wanted to escape may reality; domestic abuse next door, protecting my sisters from abuse from the neighbourhood boys, my Dad getting layed off and turning angery. MAYBE this is what is happening here. He doesn't know how to cope with reality. He doesn't want to deal with reality. Or he just can't or don't know how.
That conclusion at the end that She’s willing to give up significance to gain acceptance and he’s willing to give up acceptance to gain significance, but they can’t understand that about each other because of projection was INCREDIBLE! 😮

My cousins wouldn't stop running when I told them we have to wait for my brother.

I feel bad for the young man… he touches on some aspects of spirituality (for example I believe that all living beings - humans, animals, plants, the universe- all have an interconnected consciousness) but it seems like his formation of beliefs (or at least fantasies - and what are beliefs if not self-confirmed fantasies) are driven by a combination of fear, disgust and disillusionment. I wonder if maybe this fabricated version of his reality is just easier way for him to express his frustration. I feel like his mother may not have a firm understanding of what mental health is, and might even be a little old fashioned in that regard (though I do feel really bad for her too) which will only make him feel that much more ‘alien’ and disillusioned. And IF this really is just that he doesn’t want to get a job, then I’d be inclined to ask why. Why doesn’t he want to get a job? ‘He’s lazy’ is an easy answer, but that doesn’t make it an accurate answer. Maybe those things he mentioned that will end the world - climate disaster, famine, etc., might be things that are cripplingly difficult for him to deal with mentally, maybe it makes everything seem pointless or hopeless, and maybe this is just his disassociated way of conveying that. If he grew up in a home that didn’t have open dialogue about feelings and/or mental health, it makes sense that this is just a way for him to express himself in a way that grabs his mums attention - and ours. Maybe we won’t listen to a young man, but we will listen to a cyborg if we can just believe it’s real.
Wow this is such a fascinating way to look at it. Like the whole thing is an indication of his LACK of confidence in himself as a human. Maybe he almost needs the cyborg character to channel confidence. I love It

There are people born with mental disorders and some that come over time and seem grounded in thinking which is a conscious process.

I think this is NOT an act. I am sorry for everyone in the family, because there’s a lot of delusion here. The mom is deluded that her son isn’t ill, and Orrin is deluded that he is a cyborg. Neither of them is going to be “fixed” by going on national TV. Though MAYBE Phil has convinced the mom to get her son help. Certainly she’s not going to succeed in “shocking” him out of this. If anything, her behavior - as understandable as it is - will drive him deeper into delusion as he tries to protect himself from the unpleasant reality of his life.
I love that your comment went to a deeper understanding not just of him and individual delusions (or whatever) but him in a cultural context. He is an artist, perhaps he is in touch with a deeper understanding of our current reality. I have a deep and passionate love of the natural world, and it breaks my heart how we humans are cluelessly and drastically damaging it. I constantly screen what I focus on so as to not fall into despair. I found his need to embrace an alternate reality totally understandable because so much of our current reality really sucks. If his "alternate reality" includes a way to warn people, more power to him.

Most people aren’t ready for that reality. A lot are waking up. The skeptics make it hard though. I agree he may be experiencing some sort of channeling and the family around him isn’t knowledgeable on the topic.
@@virginiarodriguez902Yea channeling does not lock the primary personality out completely, but there are no rules to how long an entity could channel, if your soul is ok with it. Him breaking character could simply be him breaking trance, and the main personality coming through a bit. Also as far as his legs being mechanised, it could just be a poor translation, that means something more specific in his future. Obviously when we hear mechanized we think mechanical parts, but in the future it could be bioorganics.
He could definitely just have a mental illness, but in the vibrational world we live in, even that would not be a coincidence.

What is a higher vibration level and how is it proved? You must have actual data showing the measured vibration rates of a wide variety of normal people and measured the vibration rate of the "cyborg." Why not show us the data to back up your pronouncement? It would be very interesting.
Let me start with saying that I've meet two guys in my life who claimed that they were astral travellers and all that, minus the cyborg part. First one was most probably a narcissist, the other one turned out to be a diagnosed psychopath. Anyway, when I watched the intro, I immediately knew I'm in for a ride and oh boy, I was not disappointed.
Things I noticed:
- Dr. Phil asks about jokes like "three robots go into a bar", and Orrin says that human beings think that the world will last forever, that that's a lie and "that's funny". I have a couple of observations here. 1) I saw a very small and quick eyebrow flash after his response. To me, it meant "now, what do you say to that"? 2) He says it's funny, so do robots understand humor after all or not? :) 3) What's funny in humanity believing a lie? If someone believes a lie, or has a belief that will lead to his/her destruction, there's nothing funny about that, unless you're the kind of person that feels better than everyone else and likes to belittle others. I think in that moment we get a glimpse of his real attitude towards other people/maybe society in general. As a whole, this come-back seemed like trying to re-gain some control/dominance in the conversation after Dr. Phil introduced humour relief and, consequently, relaxation to the interaction. Which tells me that there's a possibility that this guy thrives on tension and creating it is possibly one of his ways of controlling his interactions with other people in his life.
- Pronouns/grammar - he speaks as 'we' - the collective consciousness, but there were slips: "if you have a vision, you believe in it" - a switch to 'you' and a switch to passive voice in "there's always been interest in music (?)". I think it's the weirdest and the most extreme example of psychological distancing I've ever seen. I'm not sure though if he's doing that to avoid being an adult and responsibilities that come along with it or tries to distance from his actual self due to psychological disorders. May be a combination of both.
- "Anything is possible", "If you have a vision, believe in it", "Isn't everyone delusional?" + that whole we-live-in-a-matrix narrative. I think that at some point this guy might have been a self-help motivational BS junkie
- "Does not everyone believe that they have some special talent or hidden mission to get them through the day?" - what startled me in this one was the "get them through the day" part, because it's the only thing he said that sounded weirdly personal and suggests some kind of struggles. I can't think of even one scenario in which thinking I'm a cyborg from the future would make it easier for me to get through the day, aside of a desperate need to escape the whole reality.
- What really strikes me in the whole interview is the deficit in empathy. He clearly doesn't give a sh*t about his sister and mother and about how they feel because of what he's doing.
- Also, he definitely has some deficits in emotional and social intelligence. I agree that significance is far more important to him than acceptance but at the same time he could achieve far more significance if he would actually be able to read some clues from the surroundings. Let's assume this whole thing was to get attention and promotion for his music. Did it work? No. Because if you want to become a musician and get your name out there, you'd rather want to end up on one of those YT channels dedicated to promoting new music than on Dr. Phil.
- I agree that this whole robot thing may be some kind of image he's creating but the difference between image and delusion is that the image is dropped when the show is over. This guy here sustained it 24/7 which is completely unnecessary and to a healthy individual would be exhausting. There's definitely something else he was able to gain through that in the past, considered he was sustaining this act for such a long time.
I don't know what's wrong with him but something definitely is. It would be interesting to see how he reacts to validation/admiration, that could be quite revealing.
PS.: Spidey, I have to ask. Is that Severus Snape on the shelf behind you? :)
There's other subtle factors I'm not sure you noticed:
1) The majority of the emotion was directed at his mother.
2) He's an artist (specifically musician).
3) His behavior changed after coming back from college.
The first 2 factors are likely conflicts. An outside factor is AI art.
To summarize the longer explanation I typed up in my comment thread:
He likely has an ego death, due to being forced to complete college by his mother, instead of becoming a social media influencer and musical artist instead. AI art has become a problem to those with artistic skills, which likely also caused a separate traumatic ego death, and his coping came in the form of a dissociative break from reality while at college. His dissociation came in the form of being a partial AI and human cyborg, that wants to warn about impending doom due to singularity and "environmental" influences, and to be an influencer using art to promote change. Consider the 3 things he listed as the doom of humanity and destroying the planet: Environmental, Singularity, and Health.
College is an environment, AI is becoming more prevalent, and COVID hit while he was in college. This Doctor Phil thing was just under 2 years ago. COVID affected the world and still is, and is/was seen by many as a planetary doom scenario causing serious trauma to many people. Being pushed to continue to do something that a person doesn't want to do, is also something that can cause trauma.
Basically trauma caused an ego crisis, which can manifest in various ways. It isn't likely he became a narcissist or a psycopath, since it's all about grandiosely saving humanity. In other words, he broke under pressure and his brain pushed him to correct the problems he ran into.
1. Majority, but not all. You can see some emotions directed at Dr. Phil, but Dr. Phil is doing a great job at putting him in place instead of letting the situation escalate. It's what he does in all interviews. The mother is not that skilled in communication, and that's ok because she doesn't have the same background, she's handling the situation like many perfectly normal mothers would but that doesn't work as well. So we see a bigger display of emotions because our guy very well knows she won't be able to stop him from anger display.
2. Ok, he's an artist. I'm an artist as well so I'm kinda missing the point here.

What AI art has anything to do with it? Especially that he's a musician? I'm a huge stan of EDM music, if any type of music will be taken over by machines, this genre should be the first one. I have yet to hear an EP done by AI. I haven't heard of any musical Midjourney equivalent. It's the same industry as 10 years ago. What's more, this guy is into hip-hop/rap, a genre that would be even more difficult to automate, and with target audience that would be far more resistant to this kind of innovation than EDM folks.
Can you please elaborate on what you mean by "ego death"? You lost me here. And also in what ways that can manifest itself? Your statement on that was pretty vague.
From what I know, it's not possible to become a narcissist at this age and with psychopathy people are usually born, but it is possible for disorders to manifest in different ways at different stages in life. Grandiosity is actually quite typical for narcissists and it's not impossible for narcissist to claim they are doing sth for greater good to get attention or justify their... whatever absurd thing they're doing at that moment. The problem here is that this guy only SAYS he wants to save humanity but DOES absolutely nothing about it. The only side that's benefiting from this situation is himself, because he doesn't have to do anything while everyone else loses (his mother has to maintain him, his sister doesn't have a brother, environment has to digest plastic bottles that he doesn't even want to recycle properly). I wouldn't say that he definitely is a narcissist but I also wouldn't say he definitely isn't. I would say you cannot diagnose anyone based on 15 minutes long video on YT, you can just create a list of most probable things and then live with the fact that you'll never know for sure :) I agree that there may be trauma here due to whatever reasons. @iwona917 Ego Death has a standard definition, and what I said about it was rather straightforward, without any vagueness associated. I'm sorry you are having a tough time understanding how AI art, can cause a person to snap and take on the persona of being partially AI themselves, due to the trauma that their Art may be at risk of being taken over or in danger of becoming obsolete. I feel like I was rather direct about that, to the point where little to no inference would be necessary.
He is not acting like a Narcissist nor a Psychopath, which have very distinct characteristics that are in no way on display in any part of the interview. To suggest either of those means that you either don't actually understand what those are, or you are projecting due to personal trauma of yours.
I'll put this entire thing as simply as I outlined at the end of my initial reply: The guys mind snapped, and he dissociated with the delusional persona of being a Cyborg (partial human and partial AI) as a coping mechanism, retaining a sort of AI Artist portion to warn humanity of impending doom. The factors that likely caused his Ego Deaths leading to Dissociation are outlined as the 1,2,3 points.
I was merely attempting to assist your better understanding of the issue, but based on your reply, I'm not really sure you understood that and simply rejected everything in the belief I was attacking you in some way, which simply is not the case. In case you aren't aware, AI is not currently able to function without human input in some form, so the points you made about there not being a full EP made by AI or that it would somehow be EDM that would be the first is irrelevant and simply incorrect. The first "original" song composed by AI was in the Classical Genre, and just because Electronic Dance Music is Electronic by nature, does not mean that it would be the first to be generated by AI. It seems you may have some things to learn about before making assertions or basing any beliefs on incorrect assumptions. I strongly suggest learning more about Narcissistic Personality Disorder along with what a Psycopath is (not to be confused with Sociopath), along with Dissociative Disorders (not all are permanent), because there is a major difference between all of them. I also suggest considering for a moment that whatever your major special skill in life is, is under threat of becoming obsolete and therefore by extension making you irrelevant (this is just a "put yourself in the other persons shoes" suggestion to help you understand how dissociation can be caused, not me saying your skill is going to be obsolete or that you are or will be irrelevant).
You say a person cannot be diagnosed with anything in 15 minutes, but that actually is not correct, and this video is an example of a video people watch in classes for Psychology. People can be narcissists as early as 6 years old. Psychopathy is not a purely inherited trait. (This is where I attack your credibility). It's clear you really don't know what you are talking about... here I was typing up a reasonable response to you, only to be met with completely false claims at the end of your reply. Go learn more about these subjects before formulating any further reply, because you definitely do not understand any of it. (This is where I attack you). If you can't handle this small amount of criticism, don't go into Psychology or go for a Doctorate, because you will be deeply critized during peer review and it will be far more brutal.
I'll just state it as direct as it can be: You didn't add anything of substance. You didn't provide any real insight. You started out with suggestions based on people you met that you could not have diagnosed nor given an informed opinion about, which were both completely irrelevant to the topic or discussion. You asked questions that were clearly answered. At the end, you made a suggestion for something that was actually performed. You stated things were concerning, when they really aren't. You seem to want to criticize a person, that you have neither met or interacted with, without any chance they would retort. You didn't seem to learn anything from the video. You should have just made your PS your entire comment, because it seems more like you were trying to seem intelligent without the ability to dissect the video, so you would be noticed to ask that one question. I really love how you guys have broken this down, very smartly done. My only gripe is how you guys kept focusing on his human quirks and foibles while missing the the fundamental differences between a Cyborg and an Android.
The Cyborg, being a human with cybernetic parts, much like Robo Cop, or DC comics' Cyborg, would in fact still have some human thoughts, feelings and reactions, simply for the fact the Human brain is still incorporated, and competing the robotic side.
Whereas the Android is just a brilliantly made robot, like Data from Star Trek.

Something that happened to me when I was a child. I was at an age where I wanted to live my own life, between 12 and 14. When I realized I couldn't be an adult and take care of myself. I had to live with my parents. I did some soul searching. I found myself Astral projecting myself every single night for the entire summer. I lived another reality. I believe we do have a connection to a higher existence, but the point I wanted to mention was that when I got back to school I tried to tell my friends about the adventures I went on by myself. The teacher got involved and I realized that dreams weren't recognized as reality. I believed my dreams were part of my life. A permanent and meaningful existence. I took my nightlife seriously, my escape from the reality I was trapped in. Thats when I had to logically figure out what I had experienced and how that fit into my reality. Anyways it seem like this kid may be acting this way in order to have control over his life and not have to live a life he doesn't choose!

I placed this comment on this thread for him and his mother. It partly pertains to your experience:
The young man is possessed.
He does experience different experiences such as the seemingly ability to astro project. This is through the lying powers of demons.
He does hear voices. Do not negate this fact or you really won't be able to help him. They are demons speaking to him. They have lied to him and told him that they are from the future, and sent to warn people, etc. They have given him a sense of importance, to ensnare him with that feeling of being important. They make him feel that he is special and has a mission. They feed his ego.
They are not entities from the future. They are lying, demonic entities. They want him to spread their lies. They want his soul. They want to ultimately destroy him and drag him eternally into hell.
First of all he isn't imagining or making up the voices. They are real. Somehow he has opened himself up to being able to hear demonic spirits, who are masquerading as higher spirits who have chosen him to give humanity an important message.
The young man needs deliverance. Tell him the truth about what is really going on.
He needs to admit that he has gotten involved with demonic entities. He needs to admit that he is a sinner in need of the Saviour. He needs to ask Jesus Christ into his life to forgive him of his sins and give to him eternal life.
Also, he needs to receive deliverance from these demonic entities. He needs to ask God to take them away from him. He needs to let go of the importance that he feels that they have given him. It's all a lie designed to take him and as many others as possible along with him into the eternal flames of hell.
Mother, become a Christian yourself. Battle what is going on with your son by the power of God, in The Name of Jesus. Accept help from other mature Christians who understand what is actually going on.
Know and tell him the truth about what is going on with him. The truth shall set you free.
The thing about the mind the mind can tell us if it's own narrative and if you cannot control the mind it will control you therefore some form of mental illness but she has waited so long he's an adult man and it's gonna be harder to treat because by him being a adult man he can refuse treatment Only he can get treatment if he does a crime and the state takes over but if he was a child she couldn't get in treatment whether he wanted to or not because he would have been a minor she has waited too late to get him help and she needs to stop that damn laughing cause it's ain't funny that's her child and she's got to try to talk to doctor feel she should be talking to some doctors and some lawyers asking judges to get him some help because she can't do it by herself

When doctor phil said that he would love to have mechanised legs, and you said he didnt laugh like his mother did, it did look like he was trying to hold back a smile to me.
My mother told me many years ago that when her mother was a young girl, around 1912, there was a man who had lived to an old age which at the time was not normal. When reporters found out they flocked to get his story. When reporter said to him, "you must be tired from living that long life." To which he replied, "its like coming in throught that door, and walking through to this other side of the room, that's how quickly my life has gone."
An i have to admit i now agree with that man's story, I'm in my fifties and it really has gone that fast especially the last 20 years. I still remember the excitement i used to get going with mum and dad to Shepherds Bush Market or going to the pictures to see a movie. Its as though someone pressed the fast forward button for 50 years, that's how quickly its gone. As i said it can be scary.
I've never watched Dr Phil before but this was fascinating! I definitely agreed with Spidey thinking it's a promotional thing given he advertised his shirt and slipped a bit while talking about music. I thought the fact that he argued emotionally with his mother would suggest it's not a mental condition making him robotic/delusional... It seems more like a conscious choice to present himself like this, but you never know!

I enjoyed seeing you and Chase together. But i thought you missed a few points of body language. I was interested in what that whole upper body twitch, almost a slide, meant when Dr Phil first mentioned music. I would have enjoyed that explanation. There were a few others, but this instance stuck with me through out.

He took the time to pick out a specific shirt to wear on Dr. Phil. He has a business degree, where I'm sure he learned how to work from home. He's decided to let his mom think he's not working, for whatever reason. And when he found out he would get to go on Dr. Phil because of her fears, he decided to wear a shirt that he probably designed for his online company.
This kid is a genius! He consistently plays this role and not only is buying time to build his persona and focus on his "beats", but doesnt have to work. This is a promo for a new artist. This isnt the first kid to launch a music career from starring on Dr Phil. And, I bet if you ask his sister about it she will tell you he's full of !@#$!
