    Monster Hunter World.
It's the dream I never realised I had, come true. The jump from the old generation to the new generation made this game so much better - no loading times in mission, amazing weapon improvements, just an insane game.

When I was little, in any game that had anything resembling a town, I'd pretty much roleplay as someone who lived there and had a job adventuring and I'd pretend to eat and sleep and all that.
And then around 12-13 discovered The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, and I was all "I can be whatever character I want?? And buy a house? And quest and talk to people who all go about their lives??" I loved it and it's also what introduced me to Western RPGs.

Devil May Cry 5 and Persona 5 Royal/Scramble - I love the universe of DMC and P5. I love the characters, the story, the gameplay, everything. When I finished DMC4 and P5, I always wished for something, anything more. And then suddenly, bam! The announcement of DMC5 and P5R. I've never been more excited about a game ever.
Although, my biggest dream come true moment would be if Ubisoft announces a new Prince of Persia. That was the series that made me fall in love with video games.

My pick is actually Final Fantasy XIII, and not for the reason people might think...
I was in a weird state in my gaming life at the time of the early PS3 days, where i pretty much only played racing games. One day i had enough, looked at my library of like 7 racing titles, and deciding to try something new...
I went to my local Gamestop, and got lost in all the shelves, and finally decided that i try out a game from a genre as far away from what i was used to as possible... I eventually decided to get FFXIII, as i had never played an RPG before, but had heard the series was pretty solid, even in it's weakest entries!
So i got home, built up the courage to play something i had ZERO experience or prior desire to play before, and got to work... The game wasn't that bad, and i got a LOT of enjoyment out of it, even though i had like ZERO idea what the story was about almost the entire way through. But what did come from it was the desire to play other game genres i hadn't tried, so i eventually got Mass Effect 2 and Dragon age 2.
FFXIII was the catalyst that made me play RPGs, and the game that convinced me to try genres i might never have tried before, and to this day, i love playing nearly every type of game to some extend, and i can thank one of the worst entries in a series for introducing me to the wider world of gaming...

I think my big two "Dream come true" moments were the initial release of Star Wars Battlefront 2015, and also my very late discovery of Star Wars: Empire at war.
I'm old enough to have had the chance to play the og battlefront and bf 2, but growing up i never really had a console or pc, and even once I had the capability I never ended up hearing about them at all until I got older. But by the time Battlefront 2015 came around, I got it in a bundle with a brand new ps4. I finally had my chance to experience that kind of star wars fps action with active servers and modern graphics, not to mention the fighter squadron matches. I played it so much and enjoyed every second. Even the DLC were fantastic. I've since played the original battlefront 2, but despite a fantastic story they don't (obviously) have that nostalgia factorthat BF 2015 has for me, and it's only 4 years old.
Empire at War (and to a fantastic but still lesser extent Kotor) took me even longer to hear about, and I only found it one day through a big "Star Wars Day" bundle on steam with tonnes of older Star Wars titles like Battlefront 2, Kotor 1 and 2, etc. As a guy that loves strategy games and star wars, the discovery of a Star Wars RTS with Ground AND Space combat, with a very active and talented modding scene was heaven sent. To this day it is consistently in my top 3 games for hours played on steam. Have clocked in over 400 hours in it, and I'm sure there will be hundreds more to come.

Totally with Rosie. I was about 6 I think when my dad took me to gamestop for my birthday and I saw a game with Donald and Goofy on the cover. I didn’t even bother reading the back to see what it was about like I usually did I just got the game because I was absolutely obsessed with Disney. Most Disney games I’d played till then were either educational or the very basic licensed puzzle games, so to have this huge (at the time anyway) adventure with such an engaging story with so many of my favorite films was the ultimate dream come true. Then when 2 came out a few years later (I didn’t even know about CoM until like 4 years after that) I absolutely lost my mind and got it, played it, had a meltdown because it was the best game I’d ever played, and have been rabidly playing every game since. I even got a psp specifically to play BBS. When kh3 was announced back in 2013 I didn’t know about it at first because I was in school, but my dad sent me a text with a link to the trailer and I cried during my lunch break.

One of my dreams that came true was finally getting a PS Vita to play God Eater 2, specifically God Eater 2 Rage Burst and many other amazing games for the system. Me personally, it was "Marvel's: Spider-Man" for PS4. When I first heard about it back in 2016 with that reveal trailer by chance I was IMMEDIATELY hooked. Largely in part of it being that I am a hardcore Marvel fan and I knew I had to have this game in my collection, it was absolutely EVERYTHING I wanted in the game and I look forward to not only the sequel but the Avengers game that Marvel has planned with Square Enix.

Mine was probably Bioshock Infinite. Not because of that story, but also the art direction, the gameplay being a bit more “shooty” than the original one, the connection I had with Elizabeth... Like it’s really is a dream, when you got a game that made you to be into games again.

I don't know if I've said this before, but geez Elle is so gorgeous! As for dream come true games, Dragon Age: Origins was pretty big for me when I first played it. It was a unique thing even though exactly what I was hoping for when a co-worker suggested it to me, and I probably put in 30 hours that first week, easily. The choices I made and experiences I endured are still so memorable a decade later...❤️
Oh wait! Talking about waiting for release and buildup and final excitement of playing...I just remember the amazing feeling of satisfaction finally playing Xenosaga!!! I regret that I have still never played Xenosaga 3, but 1 and 2 were a constant state of aahhing at music, oohhing at super drama and uhmfing at combat animations. Even to this day I still play the music!
I would likely also feel this way about the deeply loved Lunar series from Sega Cd, but even just playing the demo was enough to make my heart swell knowing that the legacy of the Blue Star hasn't been forgotten yet. 💙

Devil May Cry 5 sorta made my dreams come true. As much as i like DmC: Devil May Cry, I like the original better and wanted that story to continue. After years of DMC not making a return to E3 i kinda gave up hope until they announced it last year and it was awesome. I had a trio of games for the PS2 with female protagonists - 'Primal', 'Pirates: the Legend of Black Kat', and 'Beyond Good and Evil' - that were dreams come true because I was just so annoyed by all the male MCs around at the time. FFXII was also a dream come true because it was the first FF game I had that a) wasn't second hand and b) I got almost as soon as it came out. Oh, and because it's such a brilliant game in every area.
But my ultimate dream come true game hasn't yet been announced - FFVIII Remake! I was so dizzy with excitement when the Remaster was announced that I think I will explode with happiness if there is a genuine Remake. Take Rob's excitement over FFVIIR, multiply it by Dave's over Shenmue III and then double it, and that's how excited I'll be :D

It's ridiculous that a game like Shenmue 3, a dated game in terms of visuals and gameplay, that was supposed to be a love letter to its hardcore fans, is getting released as a full priced game.
There are so many good games for people to discover right know, this has slim changes of gaining new fans for the series, and it might even ruin its reputation as one of the best rpg series ever made.
They should have went for a 30€/$ price point at max on digital only, with maybe a limited physical run later on, if the demand for it was there.

The new Spider-Man made my dreams come true. Spiderman 1 and 2 on the PS2 were two of my favourite games of all time. I thoroughly believe the latter was one of the best games of its generation. When I saw the first trailer for the new game, and the way you could move through the city, I was ecstatic. Playing it was everything I hoped it would be. It was like they took all the things that made the first games great (map traversal, combat, one-liners) and distilled them, adding beautiful graphics and a really emotive story. The only thing they could have done better is find some way to incorporate the sarky narrator guy 😂

Baldur's Gate, especially 2. This game was so fun to replay, picking new characters, playing new classes, the romance options. Then I found the modding community. (Please tell me they allow modding on the console. I've heard nothing! )

The Resident Evil 2 remake was another one. Now I'm hoping that RE 3 and Code Veronica get the same treatment

For me it was Bloodborne, the game that finally captured what it is that I like about Victorian settings. There's really no other game like it, for this reason. As a bonus, it did Lovecraft perfectly, which is another thing that sets it out from other games.
Another one for me was the Darkstalkers series. See, I love Universal's Monster movies, and this here is a fighting game where you get to play as Dracula, Wolfman, The Mummy, and Frankenstein!

Do you remember the olden days and going to ye olde Woolworths, it was like a shop but on a street in real life! And they had shiny coasters with pictures of pop stars on, and there were sweets just on the wall for you to snack on!

Dragonball Fighterz for me! A perfect fusion of two of the best things :DBZ and fighting games. All the while actually being competitive enough to have tournaments and real combos, yet accessible enough for me to be able to play it! Lol it is still a dream come true.

For me it was definitely Monster Hunter World. Got into it on psp (mhf2, mhfu) and always wished for a ps3 western release, it apparently broke up with PS and the west for a looong time. Then it came back and it is excellent.

Absolutely 100% relatable to Dave, I am so happy to finally be playing Shenmue 3. It's all I could ever ask for. A slow awkward incredible burn! I'm just stuck playing lucky hit and chopping wood!
