It's Twitch streamer The Happy Hob, and there is a video. He ran Bloodborne, all three Dark Souls, and Demon Souls back to back without being hit by enemies
The footage of him repeatedly throwing the pebbles got me. It makes sense that you would try to use an item if you don't have a weapon, but then they are only doing 2 damage each throw.
I remember back when I was young, and I would get the new and shiny Grand Theft Auto Title... the very first thing I would do, find the airport, steal an aircraft, and explore the whole map whether they wanted you to or not. Because that is something we just can't resist isn't it? When the game says "You can't go there"... We say "You're not the boss of me, game". Then the game demonstrates for the next couple of minutes that, in fact, it is the boss of you.
First thing that came to mind for me too! There I was thinking I'm doing pretty well with the combat, dodging at the right times, having so much fun with that axe.. So not prepared 🤣🤣
@@sonuvabitch That was my thought as well. When I was watching it, I said to myself "Rob, you know damn well people told you it was called a wife beater. Nice try.".
When the game itself reminds you that BBI is intended for high level characters... right before some random wolf completely stomps your level 5 arisen and your pawns in about 4.7 seconds.
That was definitely the worst enemy in the entire game! There were 2 boars if I remember, one about level 13 at the top of a cliff, and one massive one in the middle of a big open space. My god they were hard to kill!
I watched this channel too and it made me miss my old ps ? which I gave away cuz someone told me the xbox was better it's not in my opinion and so now I'm getting a ps4 for christmas
When you are playing Disc 1 of Final Fantasy 9 and you just... go up the ladder when the moogle says not to... Hello lvl 60 grand dragon! I am level 5!
I was reading the comments when I heard Rosie’s bit, and when she said “STAAAARS” I had to scroll up to make sure who it was lol. My god that was a surprise lol.
I love it in Final Fantasy Dissidia for the PSP when the Moogle asks whether you are experienced at the game. You are? Fight Feral Chaos with a level 1 Lightning, kupo.
Days Gone - going to the sawmill with barely any upgrades and limited ammo and average weapons, thinking you can kill the whole horde without doing it as part of the main story
I haven't watched PlayStation Access in a good while but I'm glad I'm back, great episode. I wouldn't say it was extremely hard or that important but I used to try very hard to get the highest rank possible on every mission on Devil May Cry when I was a young boy. 🙂
My brother and I had an experience on the PS1. It was for the game Toy Pop of the Namco Museum games. It was co-op so we could play it together. We got to the final boss but then both had weak pea shooters. It was hard but because it was a kids game, we persevered.
Elle I feel for you :( but this is why you HAVE to get in a good friendly guild as group content means just that group up :), wife loves to try an solo it all too so I feel your pain :). Dave's story made me laugh out loud as well those were my favorite 2 stories of all these gem's :).
I had a distinct attempted to do the impossible with Final Fantasy XV. Some background: there is a major quest in the game to collect all of the royal arms that give Noctis special powers, and signify his claim to the throne. One such weapon, for which I received intel from somewhere in-game, is in a dungeon called Castlemark Tower, located in a relatively early area of the game, which deceived me into thinking it was a low-level dungeon. I couldn't access it at first, but later on I happened upon the area at nighttime, where I could tell something around the dungeon was strangely different. Turns out, the dungeon only opens at night! So I venture in to Castlemark Tower and encounter room after room and seemingly endless floors, and each room has waves of enemies with increasing difficulty. Eventually I start encountering Tonberry's, which prove very difficult. As I grind on I discover Dark Tonberry, who whips out a purple lightsaber and flips around the room like Yoda. Each battle brings me closer and closer to death. But "almost," I say to myself, "I'm almost to the bottom for the big payoff!" After relying so heavily on items to stay alive, my supply is nearly depleted which forces me to retreat, otherwise I risk losing ALL of my leveling progress thus far. I've admitted defeat. When I first entered the dungeon I was level 32 or so. When I re-emerged I was at level 38. After doing some research, it turns out the minimum recommended level for Castlemark Tower is 60. After completing the dungeon much later on, it turns out I was originally nowhere close to the end, and there was a giant dragon boss waiting for me at the end, against which I would have had ZERO chance to beat at only level 38. It was WAY to early in the game for me to venture into Castlemark Tower. Thankfully, I lived to tell the tale.
tried to fight the midgar zolom when my strongest party on hand but was still under-leveled back then, got wipe out in just few turns and realized my last save was before reaching Kalm T_T
Oh Elle. I feel for you. As an ESO veteran I can safely say the DLC dungeons are just shredding machines until you get a great group. If you ever play on the PC version, I’d be happy to help you out on them. I still need to complete I think 2 of the DLC dungeons - both of them are a year or more old now.
Rob it is a vest in the UK. In the USA though a vest is what they call a waistcoat. Elle didn’t try the dungeon too early she just tried to solo it when it was designed for a group. Also if the footage is anything to go by she had no skills and no buffs either.
That moment when you have a quick save where you leave the cave you learn the shout in Skyrim with very few arrows and overencumbered by how much your carrying and the seed spawns a dragon on the way to whiterun so you try to chase the Dragon to attack face to face before he takes to the air again. I kind of had to face this Dragon and on the 5th try or so I altered my route slightly to the left where I could thankfully have a bandit camp take out half of the Dragon health and conquer a dragon walking at the speed of a snail. I actually stopped playing not much longer later
My 12 yr old son went *immediately* into Bitterblack Isle on DD:DA. I played the original the first time around and then got Dark Arisen after a few runs through the main story. When it re-released for current gen I bought him and I a copy to play. He did not like the game, my best friend and I finally figured out what he was doing and completely changed his take lol
Yaaaa I did the same thing in Blood Borne but when I got to the dream bit I never saw the weapons on the stairs and I was so determined to not get help. I finally got over that and looked it up and realized I spent two hours running past them.
One time while I was playing Mass Effect 3 as a vanguard, I went a liiiiiiiiitle overboard with headbutting ALL THE THINGS and tried to take out a Banshee with a melee attack. It went about as well as you'd expect.
Grand dragons above Gizamaluke's Grotto in Final Fantasy IX. Tried multiple times to kill them that early in the game before concluding that they're just going to destroy me every time.
My first play through of Resi4, using all your ammo on the Krauser fight. Before there's a countdown (of course its Resi) and before he's mutated into Big Wing Krauser.
I can relate to that GTA story. Was playing with a friend and ended up going across the water to another area. Literally we both were like we'll wait for the next car and nothing came. And then the wanted level appeared and there was no escaping after that. Those police were real jerks, we didn't even do anything wrong yet lol
It was 20 years ago this month when I played RE3 for the first time. The deads moans howling through the wind in those Raccoon City streets I can still hear........some how....I am still alive.....
In Assassin's Creed Origins, my friend and I played through the game and all of the dlc severely under leveled. Most enemies would just 1 shot us. So we would switch over the controller each time we died. On the Nightmare difficultly, it really was a nightmare hahaha. If I remember correctly, the King Tut fight prolly took over an hour.
Dave, I feel your pain. In _Dark Souls 2_ , somehow I missed the Emerald Herald (the way you level) - I think she was standing in a funny spot. So, I simply continued deeper into the game, thinking the leveling mechanic would show up later on. It did not. Took me two hours or so before I simply said, "This can't be right, man!"
Well there was that time in Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix where I tried to beat the Lingering Will when I was only level 40... that didn't turn out so well.
There is a weapon you can pick up in Bloodborne before you get to Gascoigne. The Saw Spear, which is in the big multi-floor room just before where you meet Eileen the Crow. It's dangling from a rope, and will land on the ledge near the bottom sewer trench with rats. It is theoretically possible to run all the way there, get the Saw Spear, AND beat Gascoigne with it (while still at base level).
Dragon Age Inquisition Hinterlands. I played on nightmare on my first playthrough and I think I spent around 30 hours in the Hinterlands before progressing anywhere else. I figured I was supposed to come back later on but my RPG OCD kicked in (I'm sure Rob can relate) and I couldn't leave. It was grueling but satisfying. Apparently this was quite a common thing to the point where Bioware added radiation in one of the areas of Mass Effect: Andromeda so you literally were forced to come back later after it cleared up.
FF15 the Kujata which is like a 2 story moose. I got way over confident because I was beating hunts left and right under leveled. So I tried it and went from 50 Phoenix downs to 25.
I think the freeze wanted level cheat will freeze it at no stars if you do it first. I'm sure it works like that as I used to like putting in the chaos cheat, cars float away cheat and cars fly cheat then drive like a maniac around Las Venturas and see what happens. I'd do this from the start for fun. Although I do have a save with no cheats of course
I had the same experience with Bloodborne as Dave My first go....and 10th restart I killed the werewolf at the beginning, but didn't know the lanterns was the way to the hunter's dream
Flemeth dao also the high dragon in haven, I did not know you could just do these later as they are arguably the hardest fights in the game rather than as soon as the quest becomes available. Isis golden sun 2, I kind of stumbled my way to her location and I was so not ready for that fight.
I tried fighting the Oni that chases after you in the original YOKAI watch. When I found out you couldn't fight him in the second game I was just like screw it, and would run up to the Oni and watch as he smacks poor Katie across the dimension >X
Poor Elle, whoever told you that you could solo it was a liar. It's a four person dungeon :) not helped that you had no skills slotted on your bar either. So pleased that ESO got mentioned tho, it's an awesome game :) besides the bugs and bluescreens. I recommend you join a friendly guild and they should help you out :)
Any of the circle of slaughters borderlands 3, those things are difficult, but if you go to the one on promethea when you first get to the metroplex, you will have much trouble.
fighting lvl 90+ mercenaries as a lvl 50 in AC Odyssey XD i'd get close thanks to Battlecry of Ares but after that, all they;d need to do was breathe on me to kill lol
Ever try fighting calamity ganon in botw without doing any of the other missions? You know, the ones that give you upgrades, new abilities, the master sword, and that fun stuff
FFIX: How hard could Ozma be without massive preparation and completing the Friendly Monster sidequest? Erm, a lot... Also, some recognition has to be given to Breath of the Wild, where approximately half (according to the statistics I just made up) of all players got to the overworld, saw the final dungeon in the distance and just decided to have a peek. "I bet you don't have to actually beat the rest of the game" we thought. And I know the speedrun does that, but it still requires prep and practice. It just takes less time is all :)
Yes, those Bloodborne things are werewolves! They were humans, turned into wolf monsters. Also, your PC is technically a vampire! (Think about it) Finally, yes, you can beat that opening werewolf. If you know how to dodge well, he isn't even too hard! As he attacks suuuuuuper slow, and is missing a chunk of his health. But for a newbie it's basically impossible. It's a fun challenge for veterans restarting to try and take him out though!
Actually, if you kill the werewolf barehanded (like a true gangster) all you have to do is go to the first lantern and then you'll go to the dream and get a weapon then. Probably works if you just run past him too lol
I tried getting through the sewer gauntlet in Danganronpa V3 for a lot longer than I should have. It was clear that you were not meant to get to the end this early in the game but I was determined.
Dave's story is an accidental speedrun. Literally. They run straight to the lantern passed the wolf :D

What happened to Dave, happened to me lol
God of war. I tried to kill the queen valkyrie without the best armour. It did not go well
I would watch a Dave&Rosie let's play of Resi 3. :D
Encountering all Valkyries one after another without upgrading anything much in God Of War.
I tried getting through the sewer gauntlet in Danganronpa V3 for a lot longer than I should have. It was clear that you were not meant to get to the end this early in the game but I was determined.
Tried to complete the multiplayer level in Alien Breed: Impact on my own. I used my feet for controller 2.
Still don't have the last 2 trophies.
