I think some of these messages in bottles are maybe more for players at higher levels. That said, if a player has five points in Endurance then they only need to add one point to the Aquaboy / Aquagirl perk and this allows the player to breathe underwater. Great for finding treasures in bodies of water and, if coupled with a good power armour then they can also enjoy high rad resistance which saves on the chems so a) they can be traded for ammo and guns etc, and b) means the player is less likely to have to deal with chem addiction in the game.
True mate!! I never actually level this perk up but I might give it a chance. I think I always forgot to do so because I found other perks more valuable but indeed, for exploring the ocean this would come is handy!
@@Amsterdamgaming Well most people add a decent amount of points to Endurance anyway, simply so the player has better stamina along with things like improved rad resistance. It's not a big sacrifice to give one point over to being able to breathe underwater. Add one more point and you then become invisible underwater which allows you to sneak up on locations from the water and snipe raiders out to then hide back underwater and being invisible again. For those who want to rely on being sneaky then these are great additions. Obviously if you're playing more of a melee character the additional point isn't really worth it, but breathing underwater helps in so many things as the devs have put a lot of items in sunken boats.
@Amsterdamgaming I always get aqua boy/girl perk early. It's only one level to use. And the second level isn't really needed unless you want to use the water to hide in survival mode.
You did a segment recently about a rare helmet in a verte bird which is over by a relay station. There is another brown helmet west of Merc water construction site at another down vertebra there’s also power armor there which has a couple pieces, the brown flight helmet is inside the vertebrae under the water. You can’t have to jump into it and crouch to grab it. I don’t know if you know this, but I thought I’d give you a heads up in case you didn’t.
Bro! Thanks for the headsup! I honestly appreciate this... I have been at the place and made seperate videos about both but a long time ago. I might revisit the location! Best wishes for 2025! 😎
You know there’s a perk that stops you taking rads while in water, as well as meaning you can breathe underwater, right? It’s called Aquaboy/Aquagirl, and is perk 5 on the Endurance stat. You can literally get it from your first level up.
@@Amsterdamgaming Apologies if that last comment sounded a bit rude... it was like 4am when I wrote it 😅 All I was getting at is that by that point in the game, especially if you're going exploring, it's a pretty vital perk to try to get hold of.

@@BYERE bro no hard feelings! Enjoy your Saturday!😎
Aqua boy perk fixes water radiation issues and lets you breath. Also, just get to level 285 and you'll have SPECIAL maxed out
haha nice bro!! How do you get to such a high number?
