@Amsterdamgaming yes, a long time. My adult daughters got me hooked on it probably 8 years ago. I'm playing the new updated version now. It's buggy, but it's still lots of fun.

I think it's a syringer rifle (really useless) in my opinion but I think with bleed out syringe ammo it can do some nasty damage 😂

@@Amsterdamgaming in my case I just kept going to the market traders and selling armour and low powered guns looted from dead raiders/scavengers. If you go to Bradburton Overpass for instance, none of those are affiliated with any of the gangs in Nuka World so you can kill and loot them for their gear. Secondly, have you noticed that when you fast travel to the Museum of Shovels you ALWAYS end up on the roof? And there's always a Nuka world raiders gang headed into the museum to kill the scavengers or super mutants that have taken the building over? Simply chill on the roof for a bit until the raiders have killed those inside and then go loot. No ammo expended and you don't get shot either so no need to use stimpaks, food etc to regain health. Again, just loot and trade, rinse and repeat until you're bored lol It's pretty similar to the house just at the back of the Red Rocket near Bradberton town, and also the leaning house on the corner just up from Nuka Station. There is ALWAYS some form of "baddies" in the house which either the Pack, Disciples or Operators will go and destroy. You just need to let them do their job and go clean up all the stuff. These things respawn almost all of the time.

@@OliverClotheshoffe yeah the damned bouncy things, never letting me get a clean sniper shot lol I picked up the Tesla cannon from one of the Commonwealth quests so just blast them with that if I come across them now. One blast and it's roast cave cricket for lunch 😂

That depends on the level you have! At level 36 or higher you get a X-01, if i remember correctly.

I came here to say that. And that's the reason I found this and many other underwater goodies.

I think most people skip the perk as you do not need to get into the water that often. Speaking for myself, I wanted to invest my points rather in stuf like armor so I could upgrade my pwoer armor or lockpicking to not get stuck at doors etc... But its a nice skill I agree!

@@Amsterdamgaming I get it early because the short cut between Red Rocket and Sanctuary Hills crosses water and I get sick of trying to line up the jumps for m rock to rock.

@Amsterdamgaming wandering around far harbor it seemed a must have. I just get lazy keeping up with the chems 😁. Plus I enjoy being able to bail into water off bridges and other areas without radiation. 1 more point and the second you go underwater they immediately start losing you. Great for stealth killing with silenced weapons.

Haha nice bro! Yeah Ive never been to Boston or any place in the US tnh. Know I recognise some building like the hill are inspired on buildings in the us but not shure how many of the places are real places too. I remember fo 3 to have the capitol in it right?

@@Amsterdamgaming The Library and Trinity Church are real. The stairwell inside the library looks a lot like the real thing. The church is totally different inside. Our 2nd hotel room had a view of both of those along with the river and MIT. Park Street Station is real, and the entrance at that corner of the commons looks the same; we took the subway from that stop. The cemetery near the commons (in the game) is based on a real cemetery. At night we took a walk down the park along the Charles River, starting at the Amphitheater. If you ever get a chance to visit Boston, you will see a ton of sights that will be familiar. It's really cool to see them IRL. FO3 is based on Washington DC, and it has a lot of the monuments that are there. The metro stations are really similar to real life.

I think there is a message in a bottle that leads you to that location , when you find it through the message it has a lootable chest aswell . Could be remembering wrong though

@@lukejarman5221 You nailed it. I'm not sure why @Amsterdamgaming doesn't include the full information on some of these unmarked quests. There's really no point in finding the "hatch" without first finding the bottle and reading the message inside it. Then you actually get some loot for your trouble.

So the buries guy has a captains hat and the rare Xcel behind it in an unmarked location (exit) of vault 88. Fast travel to univeristy point and face the bank. Then instead of going left to the entrance “leave” university point by going right. You see a red door which you can enter. Standing in front of it says Vault 88. Now go to the broken staircase and try getting in position. You could google xcel university point. The red flight helmet can be found on an island just right from the city of Salem. Youll find a crashed small plane on it. Its under one of the wings! Hope this helps!
