We hav these billionaires in tnt. They should get up off some of their billions when the economy is tight. That should be their responsibility. Give but demand that the money is used in ways to develop the underclass

Great talk, Gregory. I am very pleased you mentioned the work we did together back in 2003 in the Vision 2020 Committee.
I fully support what you have advocated in your talk and would love to talk to you about it some more.
All the best to you, and I look forward to helping bring your suggestion to reality.
Indeed, it would be fitting if we actually did get this done in 2020!

This needs to be heard .... but people need not to look at the messenger but LISTEN TO THE MESSAGE....
We are sliding down the slope with no sense of stopping....

Agreed. And the same courtesy of listening to the message should also be granted to a messenger named Phillip Edward Alexander. He is sounding the alarm bell that is a part of the "silent elite" waking up.

Great and powerful indeed in what he said but would it make changes in the hearts of ppl especially those who consider only themselves and their family, conscience or common sense would ppl make it their reality to make living worth living that there is a common place that all can share a place of empathy and to do what's right!

    • @GypsyGyz61
      @GypsyGyz61 4 года назад

Even if all do not make the change, the majority must, will, are. I believe many hearts are changing not only from what God used this son to speak Change to the People here now, but also because the Spirit of Conscience has been and is at work all through our Nation 🇹🇹💖

He is a one percenter!!! That's all I need to know, and guess what? I'm a one percenter too, your ratings on the percentage scale depends on the conversion your parents had with you growing up, the relationships and networks you developed and most of all the conversation you have with your God. I would love to interact with these one percenters they are Trinis too . The problem with the American constitution was that the interests of the poor and enslaved were not included, I assume that any change in Trinidad's should include the interests of the poor and the disenfranchised.

You need to direct the complaints to your very own community who have single-handedly destroyed Trinidad

Whilst he covered some good points here some are contradictory in a realistic, contextual sense.
The Elite of Trinidad and Tobago lack *conscience* when they restrict Foreign Exchange to local businesses.
They have infiltrated the banking system of Trinidad and Tobago with family members on the boards and owning massive shares.
The creation of a new Constitution is indeed a great idea.
However, it should *Not* be designed by the Elite or anyone affiliated with that 1% of the population.
He also eyes the American Constitution which he said benefits the people. It embraces capitalism and the hoarding of wealth by small families in the USA.

In a gathering of the elite, to discuss the issues of the economy and the social issues that face Trinidadians wouldn't it be nice if the elite would ban the use of the phrase "the ordinary man" ?
