I got Ultra a couple of weeks ago. My conveyor comes in Friday. Have my first market in a couple of weeks. Doing several slate coasters and other things. I did have alignment issues with mine. Good review. Thanks!
I have learned a lot from you and decided to open my own website to offer custom and personalized work, including laser engravings. Just opened this week and haven't done any marketing yet to get the word out. I will be spreading the word on an upcoming cruise. Hopefully will start to see some interest. Thanks for all you do.
I’d really appreciate it if you do a lot of make a videos with the F1 ultra. Most of the channels laser don’t see it again. That leaves both of us with an F1 looking for ideas. Because you have more experience than I have, you’ll understand what it can do better than I can. It will be good to have a channel that does regular updates on the F1 ultra. For instance, I would not have thought of running a cleaning pass on those coins. I’ve done so on coins wouldn’t have thought of doing it with the conveyor. That was really useful for me. Thank you.
I waiting for my machine to come in. How do you safely use the machine with the lid up a little when lasering? Eye protection used? Can I vent out the window with my inline fan?
I was skeptical of xTool, but they’ve been producing quality products over the last couple years. They’re more expensive and than their competitors, but you’re buying an appliance and not a tinkering device. It’s the reason that Bambu 3D printers are substantially more expensive than an Ender 3. Can you get an Ender 3 to print just as good or better than a Bambu printer? Yes, but it’ll require you to tinker to make it work well.
Thought this was going to be another one of those youtube videos where the main theme is "my side hustle brings me hundreds of thousands of dollars a week/month/year and all with 15 minutes of work a day and you can to by...." but it was not. Rather it's a very good video covering this Interesting laser. The only problem I see is that every is jumping on the bandwagon with "personalized this", "CNC/3d printed that" and it's making getting customers "and their interests". To me it's like being in one of those open air markets you see on the weekend where everyone is selling their side hustle stuff
Positional accuracy is still not acceptable! The one you flip over in your hand at the end is a reject, look how off center the text is. Clearly too close to the rim. No way would I sent that to a customer. Time saving not worth the costly reject rate. By the time you set up the conveyor someone could have run most of them in a jig with no rejects. If you want to have credibility, please tell as it truly is whether you get free stuff from xTool or not. xTool should refund at least 50% of the cost of the conveyor since it is worth at lot less than the hype they put out and it would seem by this effort are still trying to put out.

Months after the Ultra was announced 🤦🏻

Can't afford it 😅
This is priced for people ALREADY in a year or 2 old buisness. Too expensive for starters or baby buisness
I think not its a investment for a long time
