The Seam line was pretty obvious at the end of the tumbler engrave. Did you or have the option to set the split size like on Lightburn?
@@arnoldg3076 I noticed that too. So, evidently, Lightburn does have that option? If so, can the seam be virtually unnoticeable?

Wow!!! Finally...I have found a reviewer who shares some not-so-good with the good. Thank you Justin. This is very helpful. Hopefully, xTool will work out the kinks you pointed out. My bet says they will. I'm looking forward to the #2.
The detail of the engraving is clean, crisp, beautiful, as well as surrounding curved surfaces, the hotel keychain, Wow, that second pass!

So at 8:45 did you have two copies of that image stacked and thus two different settings/passes? I believe that's what you explained later in the video showing the Grand Canyon coin but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something because I've been looking for a way to do this in XCS for a while.

Anyidea How long does the Laser tubes going to last ? Because xtool doesnt mention work hours of the tube like i had purchased metal tube galvo machine back in 2018 the company had assured 12000 hours of run time of the laser tube

Help! Got Xtool F1 ultra. When I Frame on a product the framing is in the correct position. But the finished lettering has moved below the framing box. Any help would be appreciated

Is this something where you HAVE to have a dedicated space to use it? Would it be okay to use in a small 3rd bedroom in my house that's used as a "studio."
Great video thanx. I noticed that you were running at 50-200 speed, rather slow relative to the 10000 capability. Have you found that the quality isn’t acceptable at the high speeds?
For the brass I think I might have inserted the wrong screenshot but I was mostly experimenting "lower" to see how deep I could go in one pass. Going to crank that up for the embossing feature and testing metals. I havent gone much over 3000/s yet but Im sure its doable.
Does it support lightburn?
They said it will have "standard" feature capability as well as rotary. Cant use the fancy stuff like autofocus and curved surface detection.
Does this laser cut wood,metal,foam?

I plan on being mobile with the machine, besides buying a ton of protective eyewear, how far back would I need to ask people to stand, is there a shield I can place in front of it? such as a kitchen stove splatter guard made of Aluminium. Is there a flood fill option like in Lightburn? It could save a ton of time on engraves that are mostly empty like that Key Tag.

Great video, really helping my buying decision. This would be my second laser in addition to a GF Pro. Do you recommend having separate air purifiers or can you run two lasers off one large air purifier? I have a BOFA AD 350 which takes up a good amount of space so I’d ideally like to do a Y connector and run both off the one air unit (likely not running at the same time just both connected). Any suggestions?
If you already have a GF pro, then I would skip the F1 Ultra and get a higher powered fiber 30w-50w
I tried to buy it during the launch. It wouldn't show me the sale price and didn't even have an option to add it to the cart. I even commented on it more than once, and so did others, so they were not even paying attention to people trying to buy it.After the live, it shows the discounted price, but again, no option to put into the cart. I had almost bought the regular f1, but saw this was coming out. So waited. If ingo tonthe regular xtool link, the price is way higher, and the site keeps force closing. Why did I spend my time watching g the launch to get the sale price then not be able to get it? It's making me not want to deal with this company, God forbid there is an issue with the product. Most companies make sure they at least pay attention to the people wanting to buy the products. Is it worth it? I would've to get one for free, but I couldn't even pay for one to get it!
So laser wavelength of the F1 Ultra is 455 and 1064 I think the glasses you have linked only go up to 450. Just trying to understand the safety part because I am new to lasers, is that still safe?
I’m new to laser engraving, waiting for my ultra F1 to ship. How do you know the settings for each thing that you engrave? Also, where do you get the files like the seamless Tumblr design thank you.
I think by the time everyone receives their machines the Material Settings that xTool suggests should be released. Those are always the best starting point and they are accessible inside of Creative Space. Outside of that, you have to run a material test to narrow it down. That is a feature in Creative Space as well. I was kind of shooting in the dark for this video since there isnt a lot of information out there right now but I will be using xTool's suggested settings next time. For seamless full wraps I would suggest buying on Etsy or similar platform. I used Midjourney AI to create mine but it was a hassle.

Подача материала отлично) сам лазер, ну реально ерунда) прошлый век) упаковали старье и втридорого продажа) плюсы есть, безусловно) за плюсы еще и доплатить нужно) но минусы перечеркивают все) прежде всего 20 вт, ))) да, анодированый алюминий можно) и шире 20см не поставить) имея mopa m6 30вт и линза 100 клише 5х5 см делается 40часов, встроеный второй лазер, удобно, но спорно, что по факту $2500 со2 300х300 30вт + mopa m8 30вт $2500 решение перекрывает как скоростью, так и качеством
The F1 can do 90% of what was shown in this video...If you are into embossing and deep engravings that take forever the Ultra is for you...If you own already an F1, I suggest you buy a fiber laser for less than what the Ultra costs...RUclips influencers are not paid moneywise but are gifted a free machine in exchange for a positive review,and not an honest review...I would wait before buying a pricey machine like this,wait for someone who will give an honest review...
Amazing they do not include safety glasses with a laser in this price range,that is really a downer and shows Xtools view on safety for their customers.The laser looks ok though,but i would personally rather buy a higher power fiber laser at the same or even lower cost.
Yeah if only needing the fiber its something to consider. Prices are pretty decent these days.

Im going to do some leather next thats what Im most comfortable with. It will cut and engrave for sure with 20w blue light. Wallet weight leather should be no problem.
Thanks for posting right after the Live event. I grabbed this unit. I didn't opt for the conveyor - thinking I won't be doing batch jobs. I didn't consider the conveyor feature to engrave on longer items, so I may have to get it later. I'm a big fan of your content, and I'm local in South Jersey. Looking forward to more F1 Ultra content !!
