Thanks for uploading this. It was interesting to compare it to Fully Charged Live here in England. I've been to two shows now and it is getting bigger each time. Last years show had rather too many chargers in the main hall to be honest. I did enjoy the test drives though.
Good interview on rnz Richard. Rnz normally have non ev owners on talking about ev's. So much anti ev misinformation is said on our tax paid national radio station.
Didn't even know this was on and I live in Sydney.
The only decent coverage of the Australian show has been from a Kiwi. Haha. Cheers!

I would make having visited the show is it still very much an EV centric show there a few stands devoted to Home related technologies, but the focus is still on vehicles

You should suggest to the producer to interview Gavin Shoebridge too. Also Robert Llewellyn or Rosie Barnes or especially one of the Fullycharged ladies.

VW Type 3 variant was my favourite. We had the fastback way back when and loved it. Will miss the aircooled sound though.

Nice coverage, but seem rather quiet compared to last year, was it because it was still early or is it too out of the way compared to darling harbour last year
Supposedly more people through the door. The massive size of the venue made it feel emptier.
Was there a VW stand at the show?
There wasn’t. Just an ID4 on another brand stand.

EV walk through was great as I couldn't get there. Well done. Just one thing I don't enjoy and that is the 'aggressive' description of car design. We don't need any more of that on the roads.

There were many items we didn’t mention, but they are seen. It should be noted Tesla wasn’t there, only an owners club. And don’t forget Nissan in kicking this all off.
Pity you Kiwis voted National in, major blow to the EV transition in NZ. Why would you guys do that?
Aussie has voted in plenty of similar governments in the past! We still have the Clean Car Standard and great charging. It’s not the end, just a speed bump.

@@_Sensei_88 Yep that's all true. But also not a reason to not plant the thought in Roberts head if there is a opportunity. Also the mere thought might trigger other Aotearoa opportunities Fully Charged can dream up. Maybe a Kiwi reporter for example.
As mentioned in the video, the best way to win skeptics over is with a ride and drive. Triggering and name calling isn't helpful for anyone.

That's really just a old trope, yet to see anyone who drove mine buy a ev. Also I fully reserve the right to call my kin and anyone that looks like me rednecks, often do. What do to call a Robert Llewellyn rant if that's not an attempt to trigger the anti mob that show up in his comment section. And... I have no problem showing respect to the indigenous people of Aotearoa.
