Happy one year anniversary to my Orangewood Morgan Spruce Live. It has been with me on a big stages a few times, on small winery stages numerous times, wowed musicians in many acoustic jams, and today I would still give it 5-stars. It is fast and friendly with my folk finger-style picking and has a wonderful rich sound when strummed. Even a year in it still has much of the original fresh wood smell. Ahhhh!

And I'm amazed, how good these guitars are, especially knowing their relatively low price. And yeah.. the full mahogany body does the justice for those, who - like me - are fond of this unique, warm & soothing sound which is a treat for the ears. :)
This Guitar is bang for the buck model ❤️
Nice price and for a solid top and nice gig bag, its hard to beat. However, this guitars suffers from string buzz at certain levels when playing, as reported by many, and which I can hear it several times on this video to confirm it. The down-side is not being able to play it before purchase. Since its a solid top, each guitar of the exact same brand and model will sound slightly different from the next. But seems like a good start guitar for the price and the bag, if you can live with the string buzz.
Ideally buzzing is just an issue of a setup and not really a general defect.
Also it depends on the intensity of playing. So for hard hitters, very low action is just calling for buzz problems.
A periodic setup is what we suggest on all guitars to keep it in top notch playing conditions.

I purchased orangewood guitar (Morgan Mahogany Live). It says Bone Nut and saddle. I am from India and its against my culture for a real bone to be in it. Does it have real buffalo bone?

why dont you show the DI output of the guitars mostly we want to see the pickup tone also.
The reason is fishman sonitone pickup is a common pickup on many guitars. So the DI tone will be same across any of the brands and models.
However we will consider this request for future videos
I've had this guitar for about 4 years. Sounds better than when new. I run with silk and steel strings.
How does this compare to fender cd60s and fg800 and cort earth bevel cut!

Since FG800 is a dreadnought and also not an electro acoustic, its not directly comparable. Orangewood morgan has electronics and a padded bag as well!
However under 20k FG800 is the best option for Solid top guitars.

Fg800 is a very bold, bassy bright sound
Orangewood Morgan is a sweet and very bright sounding guitar.
That’s how much we can put in words at the best. However in the end the person listening to the sound gets to judge which is best favourable / likeable to them

hi sir, I have a issue with my semi acoustic guitar. when i connect my guitar to an amp or even a mixer, it doesn't give any signal. my guitar has a factory fitted equalizer pickup with an inbuilt tuner. The tuner does work. my battery is new and my cables are working as well. could you please help to resolve the issue i'm facing with my guitar?
Next time you replace the strings, stick your phone in the sound hole and take some pictures with the flash to see if any wires inside are broken

Since Fishman sonitone is a standard pickup in all guitars, u can refer to many other videos in which the sound can be understood well.
Which is better - Sire A3 or Orangewood?
Both have very different sound profiles. Sire Acoustics have a very balanced sound profile which Orangewood has a bright sound across their models.

The model of the pick-up is same. So it doesn’t matter which guitar is it mounted on.
Thanks for this video specially covering each and every aspect of the guitar and the cover along with the accessories provided by Orangewood. This guitar feels completely worth it for an intermediate level player, I personally prefer the Mahogany amongst the two showcased here, as it fits my playstyle and the warmer sound aspect it provides.
There is another Orangewood model on your website I saw before that's under ₹20k, could you please showcase that as well or let me know about it if possible as I've heard it's great for beginners and a worthy option.

@@JohnsmusicIn thanks for the early reply, I understand about not showcasing the other models soon, but the one I want to enquire about is the Orangewood Rey Acoustic Guitar, the one that's just under 15k, how is that in your opinion ? and is the maintenance part of that guitar too for humid conditions like you specified for the Morgan live Guitar or is it a beginner friendly guitar ? As I want to buy that for my cousin, who is pretty new to guitars and he lives in Chennai which gets pretty humid.
The high humidity is going to be an issue for any brand of guitar infact. Not that issues will pop up from day 1, but over a period of time, some issues do happen. Proper measures need to be taken in such conditions.
As for Orangewood Rey, it's a great option for that price range.
