Dude Dutch crossings are insane they have like 100 signals and bells going off at once
Great video! I really love that second bell, the gong looks really unusual.
Its nice how dutch e -bells mimic their mechanical counterparts better than the ones in Australia and America, in fact I wouldn’t mind that bell on some of our crossings here!
I agree! I would love it if our rail operators would use these bells way more:
Barker Technics Type 1 and 2
Westinghouse Hybrid bell
EBA 1.3 E Bells
E2S Alarm 800/1000Hz alternating
E2S Alarm 554Hz/440Hz Alternating
Western Cullen Hayes E-Bell High speed
This is why I love Dutch railroad crossing
I love all the bells .
Excellent video! You have a nice bell collection which sounds great. Love the compilation of bell sounds :)
Great video! Yea, those high-pitched bells have a much higher pitch than the mini-bells here in the US do.
Great video and collection! I've always been curious to see what the insides of other countries' bells look like. I have a few questions: Which bell is the oldest? Which bell is the rarest? And does your electronic bell have a tone adjuster?
xxxman360 yes they do have a tone ajuster. The oldest is my alkmaar pointy bell & same as for begin the rarest
Awesome! Those bells are in great shape.
EBA 1.3 is the one i've heard as a kid and it's sound is stuck in my head since then.
FRIENDLY CROSSINGS (😊)2006
where did you get those?! i have a level crossing buzzer KBB 6 and a KLD 40 mechanical bell at home. please reply.
Online auction?
wel depens on luck. sometimes on Ebay. sometimes local. Sometimes if rare from the railroad itself. or a person at a museum at special events who sell them
Scott's Railroad Video's *Mr.Scotty* i got my mechanical bell from facebook & messenger
Given that the inside has not been replaced by something newer, the date 18-05-2011 on the electronic unit inside the EBA gives something away about its age you are unsure about on the first EBA ;)
misschien. moet nog steeds de eerste 2 protos hebben
(btw heb je toevallig iets waar ik je mee in contact kan komen :))
0:50 sounds like a bryant zinc/rrs co. bell! (Before WRRS)
0:12 The gong is actually a real bell mounted sideways instead of the typical hemispherical gong
correct.
Nice video! If you interesting, in Italy we have a lot of Level crossing bells. The types are:
FS64
FS88
TD96/1
TD96/2
TM2000
Westinghouse
Wabco
Suele
Teardrop
AG3
AG4
AG5
i seen it. My fav are the Wabco Teardrop bells
Great video
How did you get them
3:44 what crossing is that?
Hulshorst
Thanks
2:25 Very fast crossing
0:03 habitually that sound uses in Belgium and the Netherlands Holland country??
Hi quick question where can I buy those Dutch Crossings Bells because i do like the sound of the E Bell
Greetings from the USA 🇺🇸
Only in the netherlands
@@ScottsRailroadVideos oh ok thanks for telling me anyway hopefully one day i will go to the netherlands
0:48 This bell reminds me of wrrs mini bell
2:30 and 2:35 which crossings are those?
No! Please, correct 0:13 by placing some text somewhere that it should be DC. Feeding AC to the thing could probably destroy the coils and will at least damage the diode at best.
old youtube it was possable. not nowadays sadly. this video is old too. i learned alot since 2020 ;)
@@ScottsRailroadVideos I think it still is possible via the subtitle-section ;)
wow a bell
Nice! Hoe ben je eraan gekomen?
