Hello, Kyle! Would you, plese recommend a set for BMW 850 GS adv. Having watched many of your videos, I'm looking for Motoz DV and Motoz tractionator adventure. I cureently ride Anakee 3-s in Ukraine mostly on paved roads and highways, but 2 or 4 days a month I try hit off-road routes - mountain rocks, gravel. I'm afraid of mud but sometimes we can't do anything to avoid it. Do those above Motoz's behave well enough on highways, incliding wet roads? Thank you for all your awesome videos.
You are a class act Kyle! Good on ya for letting others know about Greg’s situation. Great info on the tires you run on your bikes! Happy Birthday also! Cheers!
Hey Kyle, Happy birthday from Australia, mate. I run Motoz dual venture front tyres Adventure rear. Have these on both my DR650 and Tiger 900 RP On the dr, great no issues. On the Tiger, however, at 50-70kph (60kph is town speed), i get a feedback bounce that feels like im riding on corrogations. I've tried rebalancing and truing the rim and adjusting through the entire range of suspension front and rear with no fix. I was told the bike weight and wheel size combo is the cause? 160kg DR 200 Tiger. Have you come across this? And, what can be done to stop it? Or what tyre options do NOT bounce on black top. Cheers
Thanks for your message. I have had two customers who have experienced this... Africa Twin and Desert X. In the AT case, the fix was a bit of suspension adjustment. More rear preload and softer in the front if I remember correctly. On the Desert X, he tried everything. He ended up breaking the bead of the tire, and then rotated it 1/4 and re-beaded. Was better. Tried several times and eventually got it dialed in.... Good luck!
I have a 2023 cb500x. While the tires are ok on pavement. We are on pavement about 70 % of the time, but when we go offroad I struggle to keep up with my friends on a klr 650 and dr650. What tires would you recommend.
Hi Kyle always watch your video's and do appreciate your experience and knowledge on tyre's that is why I have motoz rallz rear and dual adventure on front I've been waiting for 2 months now for my local dealer to get me a motoz rallz but still sold out do you recommend dunlop 606 for my yamahawr 250r till I can get rallz
Where are you located? And the Rallz that works for your bike is the 120/90-18 Your stock size is a 110/100-18, but the 120 will work fine. manybikes.company.site/products/MOTOZ-TRACTIONATOR-RALLZ-p581779751
Hi Kyle, tell please, my ktm 390 adv, has a rear tire size of 130 80 R17, and I can't find this size for Trailmax Raid on Dunlop website, how did you do to put it on your 390 ?
Wich rear tire is better in offroad for a medium adventure bike?: dunlop trx Raid or the Tkc 70 Rocks?. In my ktm 790 adv s I use a dunlop mision in front (very happy in off as in on) and the tkc 70 rocks rear, very happy too but aproximately on the midle of the tire's live, the offroad performance is very low
Hi Kyle , watching from the uk , great channel ! I have a v-strom 650 I like the raid but am worried about road noise as am on OEM tyres at the moment , are they as noisy as some say ! Cheers
The Raid is a great tire. It has a small hum on the highway but it is not noise by any stretch. They work well and I suggest you give them a try. I have just rolled over 6k miles on my 390 with the Raids.
Happy birthday Kyle! Excellent content as always. What are your thoughts on a Motoz adventure on the rear, and a dual venture on the front. Africa twin, a lot of road, but when off road, predominantly sand and mud. Or do you have a better suggestion?
Thanks for watching! That is a great combo. I prefer the RallZ rear over the Adventure but it gets like 2k less miles. The Dual Venture is a solid front.
How are your offspring so damn cute? You must be punching above your weight Kyle 😂 Mrs Bradshaw no doubt a talent - it must be your charm and humour 😎 Happy Birthday and thanks for the quality vids.

Hi Kyle! I decided on mitas e07 for my crf1100. Im 99% road, but wish to do more dirt! It took 500 miles before they felt like a tyre! New they were horrid! Felt square and tc constantly coming on! Now i have confidence with them in corners! Have been out and it started to rain hard, no complaints! I would buy them again, but i want to try something else! Ill keep watching to help me decide 🙂
Oh BTW, Still running Trailmax Mission front, TKC70 Rocks rear on my Africa after your recommendation. Been very happy on and off road. The Rocks wears a bit quicker than I’d like but that’s the price of quality grip pretty much everywhere. You called it and I’m grateful!
Fantastic feedback! I’m happy they are working well for you. You’ll really like the new Dunlop TrailMax Raid tires… smooth on pavement and good off-road.
Came here looking for wet weather recommendations because Kyle is the best. Funny that I’m already running the TMM front 70 Rocks rear combo. I’m lucky to have sweet tight twisties right in my back yard, but they are shaded by massive redwood trees and see rain, so cold and wet roads. I really need a combo that sticks and willing to pay for it.
Why did you have mixed feelings at the beginning? I currently have anakee wild on a BMW 1250gs, and I just ordered dual venture + Adventure, I'm curious about the feel, I'm not worried about the rear, but I'm curious how the front will behave in the sand@@manybikes
I had mixed feelings in the beginning because I waited too long (3k miles) to flip the Dual Venture. When I did flip it, it felt like a ski slope when stopping off-road. I then rode it another 2k miles. HORRIBLE. Next set, I flipped whenever I saw the trailing edge begin to show wear, like every 1500 miles or so. It was like a always had a new tire. All of the next three tires I have gotten 9k out of... Great tire. They do good pretty much everywhere.
thanks for the detailed information, but knowing what you wrote now, I don't know if I would decide, the tire gears every 3000 km are a bit troublesome, I just had to drive it and see for myself what it would be like, at least now I know that I should rotate them every 3000 km or so, thanks for your time, greetings from Poland, I'm your fan!!@@manybikes
Family history has it that my grandfather was a "helper" in a collar factory. (Seriously, making shirt collars was a business, Troy New York is called "The collar city to this day." Eventually the state of New York stopped factories from having children as helpers and he had to make money delivering coal! Hopefully California continues to allow children to work as helpers in the tire industry. 👍😁😜🤣 - Frank
Hey Kyle. What do you think of pairing TMRaid front with TKC70 rocks rear on a GS1250? I know you like the TMM with TKC70 Rocks but that is pairing a bias front and radial back. I know you have done it, but it doesn’t seem right to me. Is the TKC 70 front a poor performer? Cheers pal, wish I could buy from you, but I am In Canada.
Thanks for watching! In this video I do recommend the new Raid front and the TKC70 Rocks rear. The standard TKC70 front is more of an 80/20 without real blocks or voids to grab dirt. Not much of a fan of them.
Hi Kyle, I am considering paring ADV rear with Rallz front on my 17 Africa Twin. Would like to know how much of mileage you could get out of the Rallz front. Thank you!
Hey there, thanks for watching! If you are doing any street at all I recommend the Dual Venture front tire. Much more stable on the highway and pretty great off road too.
Hi Kyle & HBD! How do you compare the rears on Dunlop Trailmax Mission to the Tractionator GPS rear tire? I used the Tractionator GPS on my KTM 1290 and despite their continuous center contact patch, which visually had me a bit skeptical, they worked OK on fire roads. Hoping the Mission might be better on the dirt and offer similar wear. Thank you!
The Mission and the GPS are very similar. The GPS is a little more aggressive and has larger spaces between lugs. When the 150/70-18 Mission wears down a bit it too has a solid center strip! Wear will be similar.
I've had Karoo 3's, Trailmax Missions and Tractionator Adventure/Dual Ventures on my 2017 Africa Twin. By far and away, the Motoz tires have been my favorite in all possible conditions. They are currently at 8000 miles with a bunch of life left in them. I will replace them in the spring.
I had the Tractionator on my 950SER when I bought it in June. Liked it more than the Mitas E12 that is on now. The Mitas slides too easily on standing corners. Still have the mediocre Hidenau on the front.
What tires would you suggest for soft deep sand that has good longevity? I live in sandy dry Saudi Arabia, so it will mainly be sand and highway, with a little bit of rocky hard packed trails.
Love MotoZ tires. Put a Tractionator Adventure on my GSA for the first time 6 weeks ago and rode 3800 miles and am just about to throw another one on. It's even good in the mud.
