If you study the historical metropolis during the Islamic Empire, during the likes of Abbasiyah or Ottoman empire, then you get the idea of what Kuala Lumpur is all about. During that era, religions all around the world are celebrated and so are here in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. They meant the Sultan Abdul Samad Building which was built by the British for their administration office. It has been used by the different Malaysian ministries/departments & was once a Hight court which conducted certain high profile cases. Now, it is used as offices for the Ministry of Information, Communication & Culture.

Actually, Malaysia is not an Islamic country - it is a secular country that is predominantly Muslim. There's a difference. Islam is the official religion of the Federation only, not Malaysia as a whole. Malaysian states like Sabah and Sarawak do not have an official religion. Therefore, it is incorrect to say that Malaysia is an Islamic country, because it is not.
