Considering how important primer is to how shadows perform, I'm surprised there aren't more people doing videos on them. I agree tge first elf one you mentioned is horrible! My favorite primer is ABH, its a light cream color, lighter than my skin but not white, and it doesn't need to be set
Whenever I make an order for Devinah cosmetics I'll have to remember to get their primers. The Ulta Matte Eyeshadow Primer is my favorite out of all the primers I've tried so I'm happy it ranked so high on your list, I feel validated 😂
Yess!! I love the Devinah Prelusion Eye Base! It really works well for my oily, hooded lids and keeps is easy to blend my shadows on top of. I used to like the Milani eye primer until I noticed my eyes and face becoming more oily due to moving to a more humid climate and it wasn't working as well. In a pinch I liked the Covergirl Lid Lock primer but noticed I went through it too quickly. I haven't tried the Devinah Specular Glitter Primer yet but I feel the Eye Base holds them pretty well already. I'll keep it in mind for more flaky formulas. Thank you for this list!! 😊💚
I have a sample of the Ulta matte eye primer and it is too dark for my lids, so hard to blend and then it didn’t do a good job for me. I guess body chemistry might influence things some.
I have not tried it. I try to stick to drugstore unless i get a sample of something along the way mainly because my fav was like 8$ from nyx. So why pay 20+ for something that might not be as good. Now that nyx discontinued it, i just keep looking around. Do you like the abh?

I don’t know why she gave it a spot on the list. There’s so many good primers. Laura Geller spackle you won’t find one better, any where.
great video. I think it is so hard to find a great eye primer. I prefer ones that neutralize like UD eden( i think that is the shade).
That's my favourite too but I haven't been able to get it in the UK for the past year :(

Yesssss the metallic one is a choice lol but matte is amazing!
Thank you for this! I am going to refer to this when I shop again!❤
You are so welcome!
I’m surprised you didn’t try the Wet N Wild primer. I have extremely oily eyelids and my eyeshadow stays put for well over 12 hours

Hopefully they expand the shades because 1 just isn't enough
The morphe eyeshadow primer works well for me.
Oh I'll add that to my list to try out :)
Could you please tell me again the name of the duo primers.
Devinah are the 2 at number one, they're the only primers they sell
Yes and they have a bundle that was on sale at black Friday so it might be a great time to try it
Interesting!!! Have you tried the abh primer? If you have, where would you say that lands?

That elf primer with with the wand it’s terrible it will get patchy like in two hours for me I wish NYX still carried their waterproof one
Definitely!
