My sister, who passed away a year and a half ago at 43, said that Aging Is A Privilege. I try to remember that when I am complaining about the natural aging process.
Yes, it'a a battle we like to fight, but it's a losing one. It seems like we're winning for a while, but it's tiring! And then it happens, we're old. Men stop looking at us, we're now recognized as someone's mother or aunt store clerks call us ma'am...YIKES I suppose we're just not ready to take our place in that line. We've come a long way though. We're younger in looks and attitude than our mothers where at our age. And we're privileged to be here. wrinkles and all. We should work as hard on being happy as we do looking beautiful. I'm guilty as anyone. I'm the queen of jams and jellies lotions and potions, but in the end...well...just keep smiling.
Love and appreciate all of your info.. only criticism is that It was very difficult to see the eye shadows you applied.. your lids look pretty much the same in every photo. I wish you had used darker (than your skin tone) eyeshadow colors, in order to see how they blended and wore off or blended throughout the day.
Angie, this is, hands down, the best video of cosmetic products I have ever seen. You're more beautiful and elegant at 52 than most women half your age! I'm 62, by the way, and was looking for a primer for mature eyelids. Have just ordered the Milani one. Thank you!

Excellent video Angie! I do use and love the Too Faced primer but I will definitely give your winner a try as I also hate the oily thing that always comes out of the tube first. Thank you for the research and for sharing!
I love that you did such a big primer investigation because it's incredibly informative, and having them all in one video is super convenient! If there was any suggest I could put forth for improvement, I really wish you'd done a darker/smokey/more obvious makeup look because even on the ones that did poorly, it was still hard for me to tell that there was any difference at all as the look was fairly 'natural' and had less obvious creasing to identify.
Thank you so much! You are so thorough and detailed......it is a pleasure and informative to watch your videos. I was surprise you did not like the Tarte stick, but Tarte Clean slate was number one.
That was an all time favorite test!!! I too have had epic fails..I wear a surgical mask most of the workday and it causes a "melting effect" on my eyeshadow..your picture k is a huge hit for me!!I f it worked on my 57 yr old challenging eyes..it is amazing. Thank you Angie...you are my top pick for relatable beauty gurus..love you!
I know this is an older video, but I'm so happy to find it! I'm 42 and haven't found an eye primer I like (and unlike everyone else, I just don't like the Milani one), so I always just use my foundation as an eye primer. You are so organized on the presentation and information. Nicely done.
Very good comparisons. I have the Urban Decay and now I know why I haven't loved it. I will buy the Tarte for all the reasons that you shared and especially smoothing the wrinkles on older eyelids
Thanks so much for taking the time to do the testing on these primers. I have used the NYX and the urban decay in four colors. I agree that they made my 54 year old eyelids more wrinkled and just didn't work for me. I am now going to buy one of your top three and see if I can get some better results.
I have a tip for the Mac paint pot to not wear as thick and drying looking. A Mac MUA told me to use a 217 brush and buff it all over the lid and where ever else u want it. It really works nice and way more flattering all around.
Great review. I'm needing a new primer and I'll be picking up the Tarte winner. Your reviews are so thorough. It's nice to know that when I'm spending money I'm going to get a quality product.
You were right on! I tried the Tarte 360 after viewing this, and 13 hours later my shadow is as fresh as when I applied it! Thanks for doing the research and testing!
You look fabulous! Better than ever! I've been watching your vids for awhile, and have to say, honey, you've got it down! Your look is flawless- skin, makeup, hair color and style- 5 stars! Thanks for all you do!
Angie, you are such a great sport to photograph your eyelids for us! Thank God for you and your channel. First, it is nice to know other women my age experience the same issues and more importantly now I know what to buy! You are THE BEST!
So helpful, this really saves your viewers a lot of frustration and wasted money. I'm putting the tarte on my shopping list. I just bought the wet and wild fergie primer and my eyelids literally looked 30 years older 2 hours in. Scary! Thank s again.
Thanks Angie! I use Milani most days on my 57 yr old eyes and am happy to know you ranked it so high. I also use the NYX occasionally when I want more opaque coverage. I dust transluscent powder or skin tone shadow from lash to brow on top of it before applying shadows. NYX Hi Definition primer is easier to use. It's in a tube with applicator wand. It was my favorite before I started using Milani. I love your reviews. Thanks again.
I agree with many of the comments below: you are gorgeous, regardless how many years you’ve lived. It hurts to see you put yourself down, but it also makes us be mindful of not doing the same. I really appreciate all the work you put into these reviews and find your videos very helpful when trying to navigate the myriad of options and their clever marketing campaigns on 20-year-old models.
Too Faced has always been my #1. I give the tube a shake or two and I don't have the separation problem. I will give Tarte a try when I run out. Thanks!
Thank you so much for the thorough, thoughtful research you do on all the products you review. The time and effort you put into these is wonderful and very informative. I purchased the Milani primer and it worked beautifully for me. Had been using Urban Decay and this lasts longer. Thanks again, Angie. Fabulous job!!!!
I just want to thank you so much! I'm a new subscriber and just saw this video last week. I ordered the Tarte Primer and just used it for the first time today. It is perfect!!!!! I would never have tried it without your video. Thank you so much!!!!!
OMG Ive been fighting my anti aging urban decay primer. It constantly collects in those tiny inner corner wrinkles and my lid crease. Thank you for this video.
Angela, I think you're sister left you with an amazing message.....and that you're able to keep and share it with others...what a beautiful Angel you're sister is.....many blessings from CA
Awsome tutorial. I use the Too Faced and the mac paint pot. Which i think are my favourites. I do use the urban decay anti age one but theres nothing too special about that one. I tend to go right back to Too Faced. I really want to try the Tarte one. Thankyou for doinf this. Its great to hear others opinions on products. Take care. Ps. You have amazing eyes. Theres nothing wrong with them. I too am in my 50's so its nice to see these videos that are geared to our fabulous age. Keep rhem coming Angie.
Hi Angie. I'm a new subscriber and love your videos. I just turned 54, so you really address issues that I'm dealing with. My favorite current eye combo is the By Terry eye primer with Mac Soft Ochre Paint Pot over it. The By Terry is expensive, but it's the only primer I've used that I can really see a difference in my eyelids with. It's not as tinted as I like, but the Mac Paint Pot goes on really smooth over it. Thanks again for your videos!
Thanks for taking the time to do this for me ; )I'm a 54 yr old blonde w/ your skin tone and I'm so glad I found your channel. I know exactly what you mean about the eyelids looking yucky. (I remember the first time I actually noticed that crepey-ness - ugh! that was a shocker that set me on the path to never ever! see that again!!) I'm currently using the UD age-defying and it's ok, like you said but now I am psyched to get the Tarte Clean Slate primer! Thank you again and I can't wait to watch more of your videos.
A rep in our nyx store suggested the Can't stop, won't stop matte concealer over any of their eye shadow primers because my eye lids get greasy and my make up creases like crazy. It works so good, and you don't need very much at all. It's too matte to use under my eyes, but I love it fir a primer and to spot treat small blemishes.
Thanks so much for doing this review! I have only ever purchased the Milani primer, since so many brands give away sample sizes with their palettes or as a bonus with purchase. I love Milani, but always wondered if there was something better because I was never thrilled with any of the samples. If I do buy one in the future, it will be the Two Faced shadow insurance. Thanks for saving us/me a lot of time and money! Have a great weekend! Sandra
Great video!! My favorite is also the Tarte. I have had multiple colors and tubes of the Too Faced and they always come out oily and separated. I can't believe they haven't fixed that over the years
Just watched this and was excited to find your #1 in my makeup box! It took me a long time to see the lines creep in, but at 66 I have been getting serious about finding products that help. I love Tarte's product! Love your videos...thank you! Btw, your eyelids are great! You're beautiful!
Ms Angie - thank you for this video! I have been using my face primer as i stall to buy eyeshadow primer because i didn't know what to buy - this was very helpful!
Thanks for the review Angie! The UD used to work well for me when I was in my mid 40's. Mac painterly has always been to drying on my lids making me look worse. I use Nars eye primer for the the last year. I really like it. I will try out Tarte's 360 next! As you said, it's just harder at our age to get things to look like they use to when we were younger so we just do our best! Sandra
Wow awesome video! I haven't tried any of these but love the prime time. I hate it didn't even make it in your video. I usually just apply it and look at the end of day if my eyeshadow is still on. I am going to be 54 this year and never really looked at primers this way. Thank you so much for the info.
Will try Tarte when my Mary Kay is empty. Not much talk/review about Mary Kay on You Tube but I've been very pleased with everything in the Mary Kay line. Thanks for the review!
Angie, Thank you so much for this video and of course all of your others!! This Tarte Clean Slate 360 has revolutionized my ability to wear eye shadow!!!! I had truly given up on it (stopped wearing completely) because of how crepey it started looking at around age 38 for me. Now at age 43 I'm finally back in eye shadow and loving every second of it!!! ALL THANKS TO YOU AND THIS VIDEO!!! So fun and exciting to be able to do my eyes again (shadow that is)!! I'll blame my whole previous problem on being addicted to Urban Decay Primer Potion which seriously stopped working when I was 38 (and I just gave up). Thanks so much again!!! LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!!!
+HotandFlashy Greetings from England. Love your channel! I'm so glad that others also think the UDPP is rubbish! I'm 38, and I used it today for the second time and I swear it aged my eyelids 10 yrs! It looked bloody awful! I used the Naked 3 palette over it and although the colours in my crease looked nice the colours I put on my lid were so patchy etc. Going to order the Tarte one now. Thanks xx
Great video! I've been using the UD primer and I too find my eye shadows collecting in the creases after a few hours. I'll definitely be getting the tarte primer! Thanks for doing the comparison!
Fantastic review! Your efforts are greatly appreciated. I'm also 52 & have always found your videos very informative. Mostly because there are very few ladies on RUclips who make videos that focus on the issues faced by our age group. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences & making videos that actually say something & inform!
Good review Angie, I'll have to try the Tarte eye shadow primer, I gave the Too Faced eye shadow primer to my daughter. I do like the Tarte stick primer though, surprised you did not. One of my favorite eye primers is by Sigma and it's flesh colored.
Yes! The Tarte 360 eye primer is best for mature eyes. For years I used Mac Painterly paint pot, (My holy grail) but noticed over time my lids were looking very crepey. So after hearing about the Tarte 360 eye primer and watching your video... It's 👍👍👍the best for me now! I also use it under my eyes before applying foundation/concealer and it also helps to minimize fine lines. Gotta love it...💋💕💋
I've been using the Lorac primer sample that came with my palette. Does have a tint but doesn't cover the veins. I like it. I've tried the MAC paint pot in Soft Ochre and it's dry and cakey looking on my eyes. When I need to purchase one in the future I'll give the Tarte winner a try. Thanks for the comparisons Angie!
Hip hip hooray!!! I was hoping my "Gold Standard" of primers would win. I have tried them all, and have touted the wonders of Tarte 360 until people are tired of hearing about it. I have to use so little, that my first tube lasted a year. I am 61, and still have oily eyelids. All of my other eyelid primers (that I have not given away) work very well as a primer on the high traffic areas of my face, like my nose. Love, love, love your videos, Angi. You are so professional. Blessings, prayers, love, & peace....MayEllen
Thank you for this! I thought something was wrong with me when the Urban Decay anti-aging didn't work, nor did the smashbox. Will have to try the Tarte. Really appreciate the testing you do. Thanks!
Thank you Angie! My painterly is almost out (been using it every day for a year and a half) and I'm going to get the Tarte instead of replacing it. Excited to try it!
When are makeup companies going to realize that us older women 1) have money, 2) are a very large portion of the population, and 3) would be all over products that actually work for US? If companies would recognize and cater to our needs, we'd blow sales through the roof. I wouldn't even expect products that would turn it around, because that ship has sailed. I just want products that don't my eyes look WORSE than they are. Is that really too much to ask? My eyelids are hooded and crepey, but it's not all that noticeable until I put eyeshadow on and BAM!, instantly horrible. And it happens so, so fast. My eyes were fine not all that long ago, I stopped wearing makeup for about a year while I was recovering from an accident, and then one day when I was feeling better I went to put primer and eyeshadow on like I always had before and was absolutely shocked. I had no idea this was coming. What made it even worse is that I discovered this after going to Sephora and dropping a serious chunk of change to replace my shadows and primers with fresh stuff, since it had been a year since I'd used them, and even though I purchased the same products I'd been using and loving for years, I found out they all look awful now. ARGH!!!
Cindy P Right? It's not like we weren't expecting it - of course we knew we were going to get OLDER - but I kind of thought aging was going to be a gradual thing, like it's always been. Nobody tells you there's going to come a time when you wake up one morning and *BAM!*, your face is on the floor. It happens so fast! This is when you find out the phrases "over the hill" and "going downhill fast" aren't just humorous analogies, it's what actually happens! One of the things I can't handle is foundation. I've never been able to wear it, not even when I was 16 and had great skin. It always looked weird and smeary and cakey on me, so I've only ever worn transluscent powder. Now I have things I'd like to be able to mask a bit, like broken capillaries, and not only do none of the newer foundations (like BB creams) work on me, but now I can't even wear powder because no matter how much I prep or moisturize, the second I put any powder on it sucks all the juice out of me and my face feels horribly dry. It doesn't help that the powder I used for years (a MOIST powder) was discontinued; that felt cool and silky on my skin. But all other powders, they're for sopping up oil, I guess. They certainly do an amazing job of sopping up any oil or cream or serums I put on! So I have zero options for coverage. It sucks. :(
Cindy P I'm not sure if I've tried HD powder. I don't THINK I have, but I've bought five powders in the past two years, hated each of them, and boxed them up, so I can't remember what was what. The mineral powders I've tried, which have only been the ones from BareMinerals/Bare Escentuals, made my skin horribly dry. Even the Laura Mercier setting powder that everyone else seems to love made my skin crazy dry. I've only ever bought one e.l.f. product before, recently - a baked blush one of the RUclips gurus raved about - that looked and felt as bad on me as the mineral stuff. But so many people love e.l.f. (and *I* love the fact that they're cruelty-free), I don't want to discount them based on just one product that didn't work for me. (The baked blush was way too shimmery, the kind with larger particles, not the finely-milled kind, and the sensitive skin on my cheeks reacts to that type of shimmer like I've rubbed fiberglass on my face. I KNOW that, but I still keep making that same mistake because I can't resist the sparkly things and it looked soooooo amazing on the 20-something who used it in her tutorial and said she couldn't live without it. I'm such a sucker. LOL) I've ordered the e.l.f. powder and primer you recommended. I actually ordered the powder in all three options, just to cover all the bases since it's so affordable. I also got the setting spray, hoping that will help if it does feel dry on me. We'll see how it goes! I'll try to remember to come back and update after I try them, but the memory ... it ain't what it used to be.
Just wanted to share with you that after a major surgery I had a big leap in ageing as well ANY trauma to the body including general anaesthetic will do that ...something no one tells you !
I feel you, ladies! so glad I am not alone... i’d like to share something that has worked for my dry, dull, premenopausal skin. ASTRAL cream! That cheap, no frills moisturiser in the blue and white tub. For body and face and hands. Every alternate night, I use Pixi’s Glow Tonic to exfoliate, followed by the Astral cream. Works like a dream!
49 and recently started a self care overhaul. I refer to you as my friend at parties and among friends. Feel like you're my Sephora shopping buddy. LOVE the down and dirty close up eye reviews.
Thank you so much for this video. I love your mass testing product videos. They are so helpful and cost saving for your older fans! They must be time consuming, but I appreciate them very much.
Great video Angie! You should also try the Wet N Wild Fergie eye primer, it is affordable and performs very well. It also provides good coverage, it's one of my faves.
You look more beautiful with each new video! Thanks for doing all the legwork for us! I've been using the Too Faced Shadow Insurance ever since you recommended it to me about a year ago for my wrinkled lids and I love it. Of course now I will have to try the Tarte Clean Slate primer. Thanks again!
Oh hun, why so much negative self-talk!? Your eyelids aren't hideous, you don't have alligator skin and there's no reason ageing eye lids shouldn't be shown in close up. Youth is not God. You're stunning and these experiments, reviews and videos you put out are interesting and educational. It's great to have information on what will work for me, give me value for money and help me look better. But to talk about hiding the hideous signs of ageing... can't agree hun.
Hi Angie! I love this video. I just turned 42 and found that urban decay wasn't doing it anymore because it just doesn't hold up and it feels kind of greasy. So glad you did a review of all the products. I just bought a Mac paint pot in camel (I am love toned skin) and I think it works great...I bought it bc I saw you use it in another video...thank you so much and keep up the good work you are so thorough and really are spot on with these reviews!
thanks so much for your review! I have been using the Nyx and it is. so=so and haven't used another but now I know which direction to go to as I'm 52 this year too.
I was so excited to watch this video to hear your thoughts on the Milani one. It's my daily go to. I love it. Such a great one for the money! xo Nicole
Thanks, Angie! I can tell you put a lot of time and effort into this video. I will try some of your top picks. I have used the Laura Mercier eye basics in wheat for many years and really enjoy that one. I've also heard the Trish McEvoy makes a great one, too! Hope you are surviving the snow and cold in NE. We have had lots of snow in VA this year, too. XO
Yikes! I've been using NYX for a year and bemoaning how my eyeshadow looks at the end of the day. Now I know why! Off to get some new eyeshadow primer this weekend. Thanks, as always for the VERY thorough review. The pics were great - really demonstrated your points. Keep 'em coming!
I'm 61 with very crepey eyelids..to the point I went to a plastic surgeon this week for a consultation for a eye lift. I have tried a few of the primers you tested, Mac, urban decay, elf and others. I gave up on all of them and found what works the best for me is just using the same facial moisture I put on my face. I have been using intraceuticals moisture binding cream for over a year now. I have very delicate eyes that get red very easy, and I've not had any problems with using it..another eye cream that work is Clarins eye contour balm.
Ahhh---so timely! Thanks for taking one for the team, Angie! I really like Mally's Eye Base. I don't use any other of her products, but I love this. I tried the Milani, but it did not work for me. I will have to try the TARTE! Now, the curls are courtesy of WHAT?
I knew I could count on u for a great review. I commend u for showing the details. U r beautiful and to me 52 is a youngster!!!! I'm doing my sephora order for this today. Thank you!!!
Love your lipstick! Too faced has some great products. I have been using their concealer for years. And I can agree with you about problems coming with age. I am now 52 and 10 years ago I laughed about products like primers and concealers.
This video was so helpful, I'm going to try the Tarte eye primer. I never considered trying it because of the word "creaseless". I bought their creaseless under eye concealer and it made me look way older, and accentuated my lines, made me look way older, no matter how much I used. I thought the primer was the same thing, so I never even thought buying it. I'll definitely give it a try. Thanks!
Loved watching this review, I spent over an hour in ulta today looking for a primer, tired of urban decay, and came away with nothing, so overwhelming. Your makeup in the video is beautiful,, and love the lip color, wish this wasn't so old or I'd ask for the color and brand of that too. 😊 so perfect. Thank you.
Hi Angie, I am also a new subscriber and I have wondered "Am I the only one who doesn't think that the UDPP is the greatest thing since sliced bread?" I complained once to a Sephora employee about its "graininess" or "pilling" and she shrugged and said "it's the best and it's what everyone here uses." I am delighted that you are a long-time user of Painterly. I've been trying to talk myself into it (and I want to conceal discolorations in my eye lids), so I think you convinced me!
I love that you do these types of comparison videos, putting products to the test and saving us some money. This was a great video! Since its in your wheelhouse, I would love it if you did another primer comparison using WNW and tartes new primer in the pot. Thanks so much for all the work you put into your videos! They are much appreciated!!
Thank you, I had been use Too Faced shadow insurance for years and never had a problem then all of a sudden it started to separate on me I figured they messed with the formula (if it ain't broke don't fix it). So I went to the Milani primer when I get done with this tube which seems to be lasting forever and doing a great job I am going to try the Tarte one. Many hugs and blessings! Pat
I have premature aging around my eyes... the skin is very thin... I'm almost 33 and I live makeup, but make up sometimes makes my eyes look more wrinkled. I really appreciate your videos, honest, very detailed and helpful, thank you. You're a beautiful lady. greetings from central England :) xx
Thank you for sharing : ) I don't wear eye primer at my age, it will help smooth the eye lid skin even when I don't wear shadow ... excited to try ....
Thank you for another GREAT review! BTW your eye lashes are really looking great . Im gonna have to re watch your videos to see what product you are using . Stay warm & safe , Myra
I’m 58 and am a late ‘makeup’ bloomer! 😳I’m saggy, I’m wrinkly, I have all the older chick stuff and I’m rocking it. Im also learning a lot from RUclips videos, especially yours and a couple of others I like. I’ve had great success with the Ulta Beauty eyeshadow primer. My eyeshadow wears all day and doesn’t settle into creases. It’s difficult to get off, but I’ve found that coconut oil takes EVERYTHING off! I put it all over my face and neck and get my eyes really good. Then I hit the shower and wash it off with a microfiber face cloth and then use my facial cleanser. Anything left I use a cotton pad with some coconut oil on it to clean up mascara or primer. It works wonderfully for me. Problems I’m having with makeup are face primer, foundations and setting powder/spray. I’m testing out your Revlon primer and Color Match pairing. I’ll let you know how it goes! 😎
I love your videos! I thought this video was done so well, I too am 52 and have the same issues with primers. The funny thing is that I use the elf primer and it works really well for me. I am running out of the elf and now have a chance to try the tarte primer. Thank you Angie.
Thanks again for an awesome detailed review! It means so much to have someone close to my age (I'm 58!) be willing to show closeups with reviews - I have pretty much the same problems with my eyelids, only a little worse than yours :-) I finally caved and tried the Cover FX Anti-aging Smoothing Eye primer. It's $36 or $38; it DOES seem to help, except than I can't apply it too close to the lash line or it gets in my eyes, and I wear contacts. The only thing I'm not sure of, is that I started using Dermapeutics Hyaluronic Lift Serum on my eyelid maybe a month before I started using the Cover FX so some of the effects could be the serum. The crease area of my right eye sags and creases in one spot - driving me crazy, but it is better lately! The Dermapeutics is available on Amazon for $23.40. I also dab it on other areas I want "plumping". Wanted to share info on these goodies since you're always kind enough to give us so much info. Thanks so much Angie!
I just purchased the Shadow Insurance because for some reason I thought I remembered it coming in first place on your video. Anyway, I’ve never really used an eyelid primer before and it’s like night & day! I’m 47 & the primer smooths out my eyelids so much! I was getting so frustrated bc it seemed like the last couple of years my eyeshadow looked uneven & awful bc my eyelids aren’t smooth. This fixed that problem! Thank you so much for your thorough reviews Angie. I’m about to try the Chanel foundation you recommend next.
I'm old too!!! And aren't we lucky to be here😊 it the sagging I hate, need to get back to my face exercise😖 thanks Angie, you're just gorgeous and a real inspiration💋
Angie thanks so much for the detailed info you always provide ! can't see much with the eyeshadows you're using but I'll take your word for it in your very articulate descriptions... keep em coming! You look fantastic for 52! Fantastic period I mean. Lol
Thanks for the time you took to do this comparison video. I appreciated your professionalism and opinions. I would only comment about the choice of eye shadow color used , although I understand the need for neutral skin tone colors for everyday wear, made it a bit difficult to tell there was shadow applied. However after a few examples it was apparent the changing variations of affects of the different primers.. thanks again for the time you took .
I would really LOVE a new test, it’s been 4 years. 💗
6 😬
Please Angie 😃
It's been 6 years now...Please..
Yes, please!
7 😛
I love your videos and how sometimes the drugstore products work better than the expensive ones. Please do an updated eye primer video.
My sister, who passed away a year and a half ago at 43, said that Aging Is A Privilege. I try to remember that when I am complaining about the natural aging process.
So sorry for your loss, how sweet of you to share it with us. Great advice!! xoxo C
My sister too past away this past December at the age of 43 the baby of the family from als so sad the she will not see her face wrinkles!
Angela, so sorry for your loss. Thank you for telling us that.. I will remember that the next time I complain about my laugh lines.
Love and appreciate all of your info.. only criticism is that It was very difficult to see the eye shadows you applied.. your lids look pretty much the same in every photo. I wish you had used darker (than your skin tone) eyeshadow colors, in order to see how they blended and wore off or blended throughout the day.
Angie, you do so much work for us. I appreciate all your time and testing. That's why I love watching your videos.
I love how structured and logical all you reviews are. I'm an A type personality so I think these are amazing!
I love when you compare products! So informational, and I appreciate it so much!
I love these product comparisons that you do. They are very helpful and honest. Very interesting too to learn what you found out.
Wonderful review Angie......love how thorough you are in this video ! Thanks so much for the heads up, love your hair today, so pretty.
I love how thoroughly you review products! You approach reviews in a scientific manner. Well done!!! I'm also loving your hair! Tutorial?
Kathleen Grob Yes! Hair tutorial coming...
You're welcome, so happy you subbed and love the primer!!
Such great information...thank you Angie. I've used Painterly for awhile now and agree that it's "OK." I will get the Tarte soon.
IVE BEEN WEARING THE NYX EYESHADOW BASE FOR SO LONG AND WONDERING WHY MY EYESHADOW SUCKS😂😂Thank you for this video
Sandra
I picked up the Tarte primer you recommended and it is really a good one, thanks Angie.
I will have to check out Tarte as I have been using Urban Decay and I didn't think I had a problem. Smooth eyelids as one ages is a great plus!
+Deb H That's awesome to hear Deb!! So happy you're having fun with eyeshadow again!!
Hurray! I just came from your concealer tester video and I'm so glad you follow-up with your promise to test best eye primers. ❤️ 💛 💚 💙 💜
My favorite primer is the Nars pro-prime but I may give the Tarte one a go when I'm out of my current tube. Thanks for the reviews!
LOL)
I've ordered the e.l.f. powder and primer you recommended.
I have been saying this for so long... Just don't get it!
Hello Angie, great revue, my best eye primer is too faced , but i recently bought Nars Primer and i like it too. kisses from France .
Well said! We can be beautiful at any age. Eat right, exercise, don't smoke or drink in excess, be positive, and love people.
Hey Ange, could you do a new updated eye primer wear test, pretty please! 😉😊😉😊😉😊😉😊😉
Please!
Not to be confused with the other D Smith... :-)
Thanks so much. Bought the Tarte 360 and it has been a game changer for me!
Never be ashamed of being old! U look great and this video helped me so much
Thank you for the patience necessary to do this, it really helped!
I subscribed! This review is very informative and cleverly put together. And you look amazing.
Wow, that's a dramatic difference from the worst one to the best. I really appreciate the attention to detail and scientific method that you use.
Excellent review SO HELPFUL I would love to know how my favorite compares to your favorite... I use Bobby Browns eye shadow base in stone.
Pat
Thank you for being such a beautiful 'guinea pig' for all of us, Angie! You are terrific!! Love your videos. Keep 'em coming...
I am watching this at the perfect time, was looking for a good eyelid primer and had to order something else from Sephora, added this, thank you !
Thank you for another GREAT review! BTW your eye lashes are really looking great . Im gonna have to re watch your videos to see what product you are using . Stay warm & safe , Myra
I have been using the Two faced eye primer for quite a while and have not had the problem with it separating.
Thanks so much for this vid, your reviews are the best. I am currently using up a sample and then will purchase Tarte.
I love your videos! I thought this video was done so well, I too am 52 and have the same issues with primers. The funny thing is that I use the elf primer and it works really well for me. I am running out of the elf and now have a chance to try the tarte primer. Thank you Angie.
OMG, you are so pretty, don't bring yourself down because you are seriously like really pretty
LOVE your videos, Angie! Always more than enough information for me to decide which one to get. Thank you!
Angie thanks so much for the detailed info you always provide ! can't see much with the eyeshadows you're using but I'll take your word for it in your very articulate descriptions... keep em coming! You look fantastic for 52! Fantastic period I mean. Lol
Great review! Very informative. I use Too Faced and am very happy with it. Next, I'll try Tarte. Love their Maracuja oil
