i fitted these into my double cab by mooving the holes on the base plate over one inch towards the inside of the landy and they are spot on

I ended up taking the tracks off the orignal seat and used them keeping it simple as intended to get to gearbox and battery.
Cab be a bit wobbly but not bad.

Are these any wider seats? Does it fill out more into the middle seat room?

Hi! When these are fitted, do they raise your driving position compared to the original seat? I'm 6'4" and I'd like to upgrade the seats and would ideally get lower seats than original, but if they're the same it would still work.

They are pretty much the same as the original seats in terms of final sitting position

Hallo Defender Fans! I updated my defender with those seats yesterday
I just Want to let you know that if your car is left hand steared (means your steering wheel is on the left side) you have to fix your seats (adapterplate) with the "HSX" sign towards the gearbox.
Not aß shown in the Video.
Also please keep in mind that if your car has a rollcage the seats may Not fit perfectly.
    Regards Lucien

How I wish I had read these comments, I have spent hours and money trying to fit as per the video, mine is a left hand drive, I will now try and fit as you suggest. Ann

      Hi
Good question.... we located a battery charging lead for charging and if we need to change the battery ( every 5 years ? ) you need to remove the 4 bolts.

Website says these don't fit the pickup? why is this the case as the seats you took out and rails are the same?

Hi problem is that the pickup cab is small and the high backs on these chairs and the wide "ears" hit the back of the cab on the pickup.
