Agree.. I made yesterday and thought about it.. why add a cup of pasta water back in. And cook 2min pasta in the clams sauce to absorb.. I even wait 1 min after plating to let pasta soak up all the goodness… The pasta water isn’t that starchy anyway.. what if.. just cook all in 1 pot.. glad I found this video. At least someone out there is doing it. Yes… I added a cap of fish sauce a 4 drops of kikkoman with a spoon of butter 🧈 too. Delicious! Bit my own tongue. Worth it
The reasons you dont want to cook in one pot is because theres no layers of flavours. Usually food is more enjoyable if theres a good separation of flavours for each ingredients rather than just boring and blended flavours. But everyone is different, you do you.
